Chapter 254: The Digger's Confusion

He walked slowly forward to Dorje Tsomu.

"I don't know...... You know something, but I know you must know something. Guru Gyala is the oldest Venerable in the Ali region, and he is able to absorb the profound wisdom and essence from the Mani stone, and then through the fusion of the water of the guò vein, he will not be born and die. No one can tell where he came from, no one predicts his future, it can be said that he is already a unique scenery in the Jiwu Temple, coexisting with two lakes and two mountains......" Dorjee Cuom did not look at Lin Xuan squarely, but whispered to the empty night.

As an excavator, Dorjee Tsom has always been known for his calmness, composure, relief, and understanding, even if others regard the most treacherous things as mountain spirits, tree ghosts, and strange powers, he also looks at them indifferently and unmoved. But this time, Lin Xuan clearly saw a huge confusion in his eyes.

"Master, I don't know." Lin Xuan replied simply.

"Guru Jiahu thinks you know, so you must know." Dorje Tsom said.

Lin Xuan smiled: "So, is it okay to take me to see the master?"

Dorjee Tsomu shook his head: "No, it's not time yet, I'm waiting for his call."

Lin Xuan didn't ask much, and stood silently, waiting for Dorje Tsomu's next words. This is his greatest strength in being a human being, listening more, watching more, thinking more and trying not to ask those questions that are not nutritious.

"The little girl is reading the scriptures." Dorje Tsom changed the subject.

Lin Xuan nodded, knowing that he was talking about Gesang from a strange background.

"I thought I had an epiphany about all the texts, the essentials, and the tenets of Tibetan Buddhism, and I had read a wide range of scriptures from the Pope, and I could always answer other people's questions. Now, at once, I overturned my old thoughts, and in the presence of the little girl, I realized that my understanding was really terrible. I knew she understood the scroll, but I didn't know what she understood, and I couldn't communicate with her. The scriptures are the foundation of this temple, and for as long as I can remember, no one has been able to understand it, and I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing, what do you think?" Dorjee Tsom asked.

"I don't know." Lin Xuan admitted frankly, "But I know that everything in the world is moving forward in an orderly manner, the seasons change, day and night are interchangeable, and there are endless mysteries. We should not be obsessed with one person, one thing, or one thing, but should always look forward and look at problems from a dialectical perspective. If you always feel that you can't see through and unravel, then you will definitely not be able to see through everything and unravel everything, and eventually lead to madness, retrograde qi and blood, chaotic thinking, and mental exhaustion and death. ”

As a doctor, Lin Xuan has seen a large number of cases in this area, and knows that there is a limit to human thinking, just as a car engine has a speed limit. If you run at high speed, you will only be killed by excessive heating. Many people with mental illness, depression, and paranoia are like this, who only know how to let their minds run wild, like a wild horse, but they don't know how to stop in moderation, and finally kill themselves.

"Answering questions and solving doubts is the innate mission of an excavator, so I can't stop thinking." Dorje Tsomu shook his head, not agreeing with Lin Xuan's opinion.

"If the skin doesn't exist, the hair will be attached?" Lin Xuan smiled and replied in an ancient Chinese saying.

Dorjee Cuom stared at Lin Xuan, and suddenly smiled bitterly: "I know that there are many profound truths in ancient Chinese books, even if you only understand a few sentences, you can use them for life." However, I often think that I can't even think about the mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism, so what energy and qualifications do I have to study Chinese culture?"

Lin Xuan never wanted to educate others with great truths, but he saw that Dorjee Cuom was trapped in the trap of thinking and couldn't extricate himself, so he couldn't help but remind: "Master, the ancient Chinese said that 'hearing the Tao in the morning and dying at night is okay', which means that a person does not know how much he knows, let alone when he becomes enlightened, as long as he can be enlightened, even if he wakes up on the last day of his life, he is also a wise man worthy of respect." In Tibetan Buddhism, why are some masters able to 'rainbow into the flesh' on the extreme day of their practice? It is because they have achieved a real epiphany at the end of their lives, which is a deep epiphany of the mind, not a superficial epiphany of words......

The "rainbow" of Tibetan Buddhist monks is also one of the "ten unsolved mysteries in Tibet", with at least 100 well-documented examples and countless examples of oral transmission.

What Lin Xuan said was his own understanding of "rainbow transformation", because he had indeed made great efforts to explore, "rainbow transformation" and "physical body becoming a Buddha", "sitting and transforming", "transforming into an immortal" and so on have many similarities, all of which are natural advanced reactions after cultivating to the extreme.

Holding his head in his hands, Dorje Tsomu groaned in pain like an ostrich in the sand.

Lin Xuan sighed, originally the practice in Buddhism was a way to make people wise and happy, like Dorjee Tsomu, who was suffering from difficulties in cultivation, in fact, it had violated the true purpose of "practice".

With a "whew", a whirlwind suddenly broke out on the ground in front of Lin Xuan, rolling up a large pile of fallen leaves, flying five or six meters high, and then throwing them down one after another.

The same thing was repeated three times in a row, and the dead leaves scattered the two of them all over their faces.

"The guru has summoned us." Dorje Tsom said.

He led the way, leading Lin Xuan down a small path, zigzagging down a hundred and ten meters, stopping in front of a large stone formation made of Mani stones.

"This is it, but Mani Tepe is quite complicated, we can't get in, and we'll be trapped as soon as we get in." He said.

The Mani stones that make up the stone henge are of different sizes, the largest ones are like grinding discs, and the smallest ones are like abacus beads, and they are piled up into nearly a hundred Mani piles in total, nearly three meters high, and the short ones are only as short as Lin Xuan's belt.

Mani stone is the traditional folk art of the Tibetan people, which is engraved with the six-character mantra, the wisdom of the eye, the statue of the god and Buddha or a variety of auspicious patterns, and is one of the sustenance objects of the Tibetan people to ward off evil spirits and seek blessings. Mani stone can be composed into Mani pile or Mani wall, which can be seen in almost all parts of Tibetan mountains, road junctions, lakes and rivers.

In the Ali area, the Mani stone of Jiwu Temple is the most famous, extremely numerous, old, the patterns painted on it are quite exquisite, and they are perfectly preserved by the monks in the temple, becoming the most pious mark left by the pilgrims in the Ali area.

"Guru Jiayu is inside, right?" Lin Xuan asked.

Dorje Tsom nodded: "Yes, that's right, he is in the central depression of Mani Tepe, there is a small puddle there, and he lives on that."

Lin Xuan did not hesitate and strode into the formation. He understood that this formation was similar to the "Eight Formations" in the ancient Chinese art of war, and its layout principle was similar to the method of cracking.

"Hey, be careful!" Dorjee Tsom shouted behind him, but his voices were far apart, like two people standing on two adjacent hills shouting mountains.

Lin Xuan didn't look back, but kept moving forward.

The earliest origin of "Eight Arrays" can be traced back to the period of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, and it became famous in the hands of Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Western Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. According to legend, Zhuge Liang used the stones to pile up a stone formation to resist the enemy, and according to Dunjia, he was divided into life, injury, rest, Du, Jing, death, shock, and open eight gates, and the changes were endless, and almost all the elite soldiers of Eastern Wu were trapped and killed.

The terrifying thing about this Qimen formation is that it is complex and varied, and even the most diligent generals in the world cannot exhaust it.

In Lin Xuan's eyes, every Mani stone under his feet has a wonderful use, rather than a simple decoration, and the different patterns on the stone represent the correct route of the formation portal.

The most complete "Eight Arrays" in history is named after the sky, earth, wind, clouds, dragons, tigers, birds, and snakes, and the Chinese army is a total of nine large arrays. The Chinese army consisted of sixteen small formations, and the surrounding eight formations were composed of six small formations each, for a total of sixty-four small formations. In the eight formations, the sky, earth, wind, and clouds are the "four positives", and the dragon (green dragon), tiger (white tiger), bird (vermilion bird), and snake (snake) are the "four odds". In addition, there are still 24 formations deployed in the rear for mobile purposes.

What Lin Xuan was looking for was the "Chinese Army" represented by Master Jiawei, that is, the core hub that drove the operation of the Qimen formation.

He walked around a giant Mani stone with a hideous tiger's head painted on it, and heard a slow dripping sound.

Further on, passing through the middle of two Mani stones shaped like goshawks spreading their wings, he saw Guru Gyalhu sitting with his back to the boulder. A large white cloud was painted on the stone, and a dragon with teeth and claws could be faintly seen in the cloud.

At this moment, Guru Jiahu was barefoot, and his feet were stuck into a shallow puddle of water, which was just up to his ankles. The water came from the rocks above his head, which was supposed to be a spring seeping out of the cracks in the rocks. The terrain of Jiwu Temple is extremely high, and it is not easy for spring water to appear here, so it can only be "dripping", and even a trickle cannot be formed.

The water is clear, and the large clump of snakes drawn at the bottom of the puddle is clearly visible.

"Guru." Lin Xuan stood still and bowed first.

When he saw the white clouds on the stones, the first thing that came to his mind was the words "Mount Everest Qiyun". Flag clouds, as the name suggests, are like flags, and there are only such strangely shaped clouds in the sky over Mount Everest in the world.

Master Jiayu half-closed his eyes, as if he was asleep, and did not respond to Lin Xuan.

Lin Xuan thought about it and walked to the edge of the puddle. The water inside flows down the small ditch in the corner, forming a typical "living water". According to Tibetan Buddhism, living water can wash away the dirt on the surface of the human body, and can also remove the "evil" thoughts inside the human body, so that people can get rid of the predicament of ignorance.

"Master, did you have something to tell me when you called me?" Lin Xuan asked.

Master Jiayu sighed and slowly opened his eyes. The monk's robe on his body has faded and has been ground into a silk mesh in many places, as if it is about to fall apart with a slight pull.

"Master, I'm Lin Xuan." Lin Xuan leaned down and saw Master Jiayu's half-old and half-young face clearly. He could imagine that the body covered under the monk's robe was also half old and half weak, as if a young shoot had grown from the empty trunk of a dead tree. The young shoot is the new life of the old tree, and the old tree is the root of the young shoot.
