5. Fangjia Village
When she arrived at Xiaoxiao's classmate's territory, it was naturally indispensable for her to have a meal at Dongda.
I thought she would call her boyfriend to come along, but she was the only one who had dinner with us, but then she admitted that she didn't have a boyfriend at all, and she told me that she already had someone she liked, but she didn't want me to be burdened, and she didn't want me to think she was waiting for me or something.
She said so, but I always felt like she had been waiting for me for that promise.
Maybe it really responded to what she said in the school computer room for the first time, I was a shameless person.
Qiao Wei and I found a hotel to stay in that night, and the next morning we were going to make a stop in the Blood Forest to see what was going on.
Feng Xiaoxiao also asked for leave from the company that day, and then drove us to the blood forest. I have an address in the Blood Forest that Song Chang sent me to ask, and I also gave this address to Xiaoxiao. But the place she knows doesn't seem to be the same as the address I have.
The address I had in my hand was a long list of complicated instructions, going out from the west of the city to the highway, and then walking another forty kilometers to a roadside restaurant with no signage...... And so on and so forth.
And what Xiaoxiao told me was just three words - Fangjia Village.
According to Feng Xiaoxiao, Fangjia Village is a small village in the eastern suburbs of the city, and the blood forest is just behind the village where a mountain is over, and the villagers say that it is very evil, so no one dares to go there.
I don't know who to listen to this thing, so I just go there according to the address in my hand first, and then go to Fangjia Village if I find nothing.
Feng Xiaoxiao drove very fast, absolutely worthy of her name, and it only took us half an hour to get to the address of the Blood Forest I had gotten. There is a small col down from the highway, and there are a few trees in the col, some of which have died, and the roots are exposed, so it seems that it is indeed a good place to find root carving materials.
However, the terrain is uneven, and the trees are not dense enough, which is completely different from the strange woods I dreamed of in my dreams.
Still, I put on my vision glasses and walked around what could barely be called a woods, and it paid off.
On the ground of the woods, there is obviously a light layer of black-gray flocculent floats, which I can see clearly even in broad daylight, in Qiao Wei's words: this place is extremely yin!
"This place is extremely yin!"
Sure enough, Qiao Wei only glanced at it and said this.
"Is this place haunted?" Feng Xiaoxiao asked me nervously.
I shook my head at her, and then turned my gaze to Qiao Wei to see how he judged.
Qiao Wei walked around the forest, picked up some scattered dry roots on the ground and observed them.
After looking at it for a while, he looked up and said, "Something is wrong, the yin qi here is all left on the roots of these trees, not the problem of the forest itself." And you look at these roots! ”
As he spoke, Qiao Wei also took the tree roots he picked up and showed them to me.
I looked at one of the few trees and soon found out that the roots of the trees had obvious cutting surfaces, which seemed to have been cut by someone and not formed naturally.
"Someone threw it here?" I looked up.
"Well, it looks like it should be!" Qiao Wei said.
"Oh? It is called the Blood Forest, and there is also a mountain behind Fangjia Village that is also called the Blood Forest. Is there anyone who wants to move the academic forest to this new place? I guessed.
"You mean that these scattered tree roots were thrown here by the people of Fangjia Village?" Qiao Wei asked.
"I'm not sure about that, I'll have to go to another blood forest to see it."
"Hmm." Qiao Wei replied and glanced back at the grove, "You can't leave them alone, it's better to destroy them all now, scatter the remnants of the soul, and the harm can be a little less." ”
"All stomped on?" I asked.
"Yes!" Qiao Wei nodded vigorously, then threw the tree trunk in his hand to the ground, and then stepped on it vigorously with his foot.
With a click, the small section of the root of the tree was trampled into several sections, and a puff of black smoke also dispersed from around the root, Qiao Wei followed by throwing a piece of rune paper at his feet, and the black smoke was completely dispersed.
"You are like me, when you see a tree root with yin qi, you can step on it, just step on it, and scatter the yin qi, and I'll do the rest."
"Okay." I answered, and began to step on the roots in the woods, while Qiao Wei finished the rest of the work.
We tossed around the grove for about an hour to finish. It took some time, but it was worth it, and at least looking at the woods now is much more comfortable than it was at the beginning.
After returning to the car, we immediately rushed to Fangjia Village. After more than an hour of speeding on the highway, and after about 20 minutes of walking on a fork in the road, Zuihou finally came across an inconspicuous village in a hidden mountain pass.
When I entered the village, I found that the village was larger than I expected, and there should be about 100 households. There is a smooth gravel road in the middle of the village, and the car can drive all the way to the end of the village. If the news that Xiaoxiao heard was correct, we should be able to reach the blood forest by going out from the end of the village and climbing another mountain.
Just as we were about to reach the end of the village, a middle-aged man suddenly turned out from behind the house on the right and waved at us in the middle of the road, as if signaling us to stop.
Xiaoxiao hurriedly stepped on the brakes, and the person who stopped us immediately went around the car door and said loudly, "Where are you going?" Is it the woods in the back mountains? "He speaks Mandarin - Xiaoxiao told me that there seem to be many types of Hokkien dialects in Longyan, and it is said that the two neighboring villages speak different languages, so Mandarin is more popular than Hokkien.
I pulled down the window and asked, "What's wrong?" What does it say? ”
"There's nothing to say, it's just that the place isn't very auspicious, and if you must go, you'd better take this." As he spoke, the man handed me what appeared to be a sachet.
"Oh? Amulets? ”
I reached out to take it, but I didn't expect the man to take the sachet back!
"It also takes us a lot of effort to make this thing, and this one is also opened by someone, so we have to charge some cost."
When I saw this amulet, I suddenly thought of the ghost suppression button that Qiao Wei and I often sell to people, the cost of that thing is estimated to be less than ten yuan, Qiao Wei went to get it and collected 20,000 yuan, which can be regarded as a fraud. Now that this person is going to use the same tricks against us, I naturally won't be fooled.
"Thank you for your kindness, we really don't need this." I responded to him, then closed the window and motioned for Xiaoxiao to move on.
The man continued to sell his sachet as well, and had no intention of chasing after him, so he let us through the village.
When we got to the foot of the mountain, there was no road, so we parked at the pass and walked up the hill, which took only a few minutes to climb. Behind the mountain there was an open field surrounded by mountains, and there was a forest there, and it was exactly like the strange forest I dreamed of in my dream!
"This is it!" I exclaimed, and hurriedly put on my vision glasses.
To my surprise, I didn't see any yin in the woods through my glasses.
"How...... Nothing? I asked Qiao Wei in surprise.
Qiao Wei also shook his head suspiciously, indicating that he was not clear.
The three of us descended down the hillside to the flat ground, and then circled around the blood forest, but there was still no Yin Ghost Qi in sight, and everything seemed very normal.
"Do you have knives on you?" Xiaoxiao asked me suddenly.
"Qiao Wei has it, what's wrong?"
"Isn't this place called the Blood Forest, I've heard people say that if you cut it on a tree, the tree will bleed." Xiaoxiao explained as she made a gesture on the bark of a nearby tree, obviously wanting to try cutting it.
Qiao Wei was also very curious about this rumor, so he took out the small dagger he carried with him and slashed it on the tree that Xiaoxiao pointed to.
Qiao Wei's knife was very sharp, and with a slight stroke, he cut a hole in the bark, and a red liquid really flowed out of the bark! The liquid was sticky and looked very much like blood.
I don't know if it was my delusion, but I even saw the tree wiggle its trunk slightly, and a few leaves fell from the treetops. A little wind blew, and a soft cry was heard throughout the woods!
I shuddered all over my body - this place seemed to be quite evil.
