All beings in the realm of desire are born with a liking for the five desires and six dusts, so the modern outsiders create all kinds of sound, light, electricity, color and all kinds of concepts to form a huge scene of tens of thousands of people, and with the power of group confusion, they will soon "bless" people into illusions. In fact, the stars on the stage just control their limbs and articulatory organs with their distractions, sing twice and twist twice, in the final analysis, it is just such a meaning, so it is the lowest way. In ancient times, many foreign ways also suppressed greed, and they could also do some good methods, and the good ones could be cultivated to the realm of immobility in their hearts, compared to these, the modern entertainment outer ways were much worse, because what they liked was only some troubled realms.

Simple-minded people like to dwell on meaningless feelings. Nowadays, people's minds are naïve, and the combination of color, sound, fragrance, and touch produces a psychedelic feeling, which is a very good thing, and I like it very much, and I am full of interest.

As soon as the idol appeared in fancy clothes and sunglasses, he hugged each other and ran into the venue, and when he ran into the venue, people went crazy, screaming and crying. Modern gatherings like this are much more lively and stupid than those of the days when Indian foreign Taoists were in India.

Pollution continues, and it is a cause of bad taste

Modern foreign ways use sound, color, light and shadow to create all kinds of illusions, instilled in people's hearts, and if they are too much infected, they will cause confusion in consciousness, reversing black and white, and reversing good and evil. For example, "do whatever you want" is regarded as "free individuality", "brutal and perverse" is regarded as "heroic and decisive", "indifference" is regarded as "cool", and "greed" is regarded as "romance".

The nature of the Dharma is that there is purity of desire, so how can a person who takes refuge in the Dharma like these desires? Worshipping these is problematic even with the refuge vows, because the vow of refuge is: "Take refuge in the Buddha, and give up your life rather than take refuge in the Heavenly Demons, etc.; Convert to the law, rather than give up your life, and never take refuge in foreign Taoist classics; If you take refuge in the Sangha, you would rather give up your life than take refuge in the evil people of the outer world. ”

It is only when we are accustomed to the frequency of fluctuations that we are stimulated by the senses, and that color and plot are so that we feel comfortable, which hinders the pure path and the pure white Sanskrit. Since it is the pursuit of sensory stimulation, of course, it is not compatible with the right path of renunciation. Whether a practitioner should like these things or not and pursue these things, just think about it. In the past, many outer paths had the motivation to stay away from the five desires. If we still take the five desires as happiness and enjoyment, then it is even lower than these outer paths.

This place is very scary, for example, in the bardo stage, there will be various realms, generally ascending to the heavenly goodness, you will hear very beautiful music, etc., all of them are peaceful and clear realms. If you are reborn in an inferior family or a bad taste, you will see a noisy and chaotic realm. Now ask us, if we are used to enjoying these chaotic films, television, and music, what habits will we plant? Bad habits, of course. With this habit, when you enter the bardo, when you see the light of the evil pleasure, you will run there with great joy, and as a result, you will fall. Most of today's pop music is about venting your worries. Isn't love love the effect of lust? Disco, rock music, the lights flickering on and off, and the stage full of ghosts, isn't it just a scene of evil fun? Coming in a revealing glamorous woman's style, isn't it the call of Hell Iron Pillar Mountain**? For these lazy likes, isn't it just planting the seeds of bad taste?

Many people buy tickets to watch concerts, all to find the feeling. Tens of thousands of people get together, and as soon as the music plays, people get excited and think it's passion. "Love" is trouble. "Passion" is a sharp annoyance. (Afflictions are the Dharma that keeps the mind from being silent when they first arise.) When you are in love, your heart will not be quiet, isn't it trouble? So the so-called "passion" is the ignition of the fire of afflictions under the convergence of causes and conditions, so that the afflictions become unbridled and real. One person can't stir it up, and tens of thousands of people add fuel to the fire, burning like tea in a frenzy of separation. In the big scene, the idol jumped, or hysterical, or with affection, leading everyone to go crazy together. What kind of happiness is it to stir up one another's troubles and increase the defilement of lust? If your troubles increase, you will only ruin yourself.

Modern people pursue exciting feelings, so that the mind is in a fast pace, with the help of the situation, to go crazy. It's all about playing with the senses, feasting on a feast of pleasure that you can't get in reality. Many people have this penchant for basing the meaning of life entirely on false feelings. From the point of view of Buddhism, this is a very ignorant and absurd expression.

The real way to save mankind is to guide people to observe the troubles and essence of the five desires, otherwise there is no cure, just look at the billions of people around the world are confused in front of the TV, you know that this is a common disease of all beings in the world of desire. Without a deep understanding of the faults of the five desires, how many people can not be turned by the five desires? It can be seen that without observing the nature of pleasure, it is impossible to stop the impulse to take.

For example, more than 20 years ago, when color TV first appeared, no one could resist its temptation, and the bright colors and clear images gave people great sensory enjoyment, and people were almost all captured by it. When you touch the TV, you can observe that your eyes quickly want to look that way, which proves that the habit of greedy for the five desires in your heart is very strong, and it will be used as soon as you encounter the realm. If there is no treatment in the heart, 100% will be captured by the five desires.

It is also very difficult for a practitioner who lives in the mountains to pass this hurdle if he does not have a thorough understanding of the nature of the five desires. A student of Buddhism talked about his feelings in the city: "I just want to see it. At first, I wanted to use the Dharma to contemplate it, but after one or two observations, I stopped looking at it and continued to look at it with joy. So, even though we are isolated from the world, the greed in our hearts has not been eradicated from the roots. It lurks in the heart, and fate will appear. A mortal is nothing more than liking the opposite sex, liking good colors, sounds, fragrances, touches, taking a good car, living in a good house, watching a good movie, listening to a good song, ....... These seeds are all in the heart, and they are taken away as soon as they encounter the realm.

For the time being, I don't think this has anything to do with me. But it doesn't matter for the time being, as soon as you enter the red dust, you will be surrounded by these groups, and you will be in contact with it every day, can it be okay? Now, the key is to fundamentally get rid of the upside-down mind of clinging to the five desires for pleasure. In this way, it is really completely broken, and then it begins to be put down. As soon as we enter the city, we will be led by the realm, and it will not take half a year for people to deteriorate and regress, because there is no correct view in the heart, so when we touch the realm, we will not be able to hold it, and we will be confused upside down. This is not surprising, since all beings in the realm of desire have the seeds of greed, are born with a liking for the five desires, and have never broken down evil views in the depths of their minds. Therefore, as soon as the realm of love comes, it will be pursued immediately.

On the contrary, when the right view is secured, and the happiness of the world is allowed to flourish, there is also a determination in the heart: this is only a matter of pure suffering. Thus covetousness is stopped. The reason why I am still nostalgic, I still want to get in touch, and I want to pursue it is because I haven't seen it through, and the joy and attachment still exist in the continuum.

How can we break up our attachments? It is to think rationally, and there is no other way to do it. Otherwise, how can we disintegrate our attachments from our hearts? This is not something that can be eliminated by taking any medicine or injection. We have the urge to pursue it because we don't see through the truth of the leakage. So now is the time to guide you to see the truth. From the part of bad suffering, it is necessary to choose from the dependent cause: whether the use of the pleasure brings benefits or disadvantages. To fail to see the truth is to mistakenly believe that this is true happiness. To see the truth clearly is to clearly understand that there is a lack of pleasure that will inevitably bring suffering, and thus the impulse to pursue it will be curbed.

So, hard pressing is not really a solution. I don't want to watch the Olympics today, but tomorrow the World Cup is coming, and my heart is still itchy. Suppressing and not looking at it is pressing from the outside, and it is not really eliminating doubts and evil attachments in the heart.

If this happy bitterness is not clearly observed with wisdom, the heart cannot settle down obediently. If it is only forcibly suppressed and does not get a solid solution, then when you see it, your heart will still want to pursue it. Therefore, it is necessary to observe in the real realm, of course, this is not to go to the red dust to look around, first of all, to take the real realm as the object of observation and see it through.
