Chapter 3 Departure

Or am I being too nervous?

Suddenly, I felt a little tightness in my chest, it was useless to take a deep breath, and I always had a bad premonition, so I hurriedly went back to my room and locked the door. Pen % fun % Pavilion www.biquge.info

I've never liked locking doors at home, but now I want to keep them on the wall.

Lock the door, return to the nest, cover the quilt, and the action is done in one go. Wrapped tightly in the quilt and motionless, trying to breathe, even if the touch of sweat sliding down my body is so obvious, I don't want to expose any piece of skin outside the quilt, as if exposing a piece will be turned into sulfuric acid by the outside air will corrode my skin.

Will it die? These three words kept swirling in my head, and before I knew it, I was asleep.

When I woke up and lifted the quilt to find that it was already dawn, I spent the night in the quilt. I don't know if I was suffocated or if I actually fell asleep, but one thing I know for sure is that I'm really not normal anymore.

Can ordinary people stay in a thick quilt for a night and wake up safely in the absence of oxygen? What makes me wonder what am I now? It's a human, it's an evil spirit, it's a resurrection, it's a monster.

It suddenly occurred to me that my father had studied a little bit of this matter, and often helped the people in the town deal with some evil incidents, and according to the appearance of what he wanted to say last night, he must have known what was.

With that in mind, I quickly got up and ran downstairs.

When I came downstairs, I didn't find him in the living room, not even on the balcony where he often sits, and there was a sparse sound from the kitchen, I wondered if he would be in the kitchen? So he hurriedly ran there.

Rushed into the kitchen, only to hear a "bang", followed by the frightened voice of the middle-aged woman: "Oh, you kid scared me."

"Why are you here?" I looked at the middle-aged woman in front of me who was well maintained suspiciously, only to see her throw a complaining look over, and said dissatisfiedly: "Rabbit cub, why don't you scream."

"Mom, no, why are you here, aren't you in Singapore?" I asked.

"Can't you come back? You little conscienceless. My mother poked my head with a look of dismay.

"No, of course I'm happy when you come back, but why don't you report back to me, I'll pick you up." I said with a smile that I want to say here is not that I am afraid of my mother, but that I respect her......

"I'm not going to surprise you." My mother was amused by me, gave me a strange look, picked up the spatula on the ground, washed it, and poured it upside down.

"Oh, Mom, where's my Dad?" I leaned against the door frame and asked, but my mother didn't reply, "Your father said he was going out for a few days, and I will take care of you these days."

Hearing this, I frowned slightly, why didn't my father say yesterday, "Go out?" Where to go, you know what? ”

"I don't know, don't worry, I won't let you starve to death." The old mother said in a nonchalant tone, and her subordinates skillfully operated the kitchen utensils, and there seemed to be nothing abnormal.

I didn't speak, just quietly looked at the busy figure in the kitchen, and said lightly: "Got it, I'll go take a shower first."

As he spoke, he turned and left the kitchen, and his mother's faint monosyllabic voice came from behind him. Back in my room, I opened my suitcase, took out my toiletries and a change of clothes, and headed for the bathroom.

The cold liquid poured down my head, ran down my back and across my muscles, hitting the tiled floor vertically.

I hung my head and closed my eyes as I let the shower spray cold water run rampant across my face.

Obviously, my mother knew something, too, although she tried her best to control her tone to make the conversation seem normal. But apparently she didn't notice the brand-new kitchen utensils in front of her, and the shiny knives betrayed her expression.

But since they don't want to tell me the truth, there must be their reasons, and if they want to know, I don't know if I can afford the consequences.

After a hasty shower and throwing my sweaty clothes into the washing machine, I went downstairs, my mother had already prepared breakfast, and I had no appetite for the beautiful food.

"What's wrong? Why are you standing stupidly, come over to eat? As she spoke, the mother took off her apron from her waist.

"Well, here we are." I laughed and said, sitting at the table, even if I didn't have an appetite, I still pretended to eat deliciously.

"Eat slowly, no one will rob you." The mother said dotingly, her eyes full of satisfaction.

Just as I was about to say something, her phone rang suddenly, and my smiling mother glanced at the contact, and her smile froze for a moment.

"You eat first, I'll answer the phone first when I'm done, and when you're full, wash the bowl for me by the way." My mother said to me.

"Hmm." I answered, continuing to bury my head in the soft grains of rice in my mouth, and my mother walked to the balcony, where the sound of floor-to-ceiling windows locking from the outside came from the quiet space.

I pretended not to see her stiff expression, and my father's name on the monitor. After my mother left, I put down the dishes and chopsticks, and looked at her back on the phone, trembling slightly.

I'm still confused, but I'm not going to struggle like this, I don't know my situation yet, and staying at home might be dangerous for them.

I made up my mind, I went back to my room, casually packed up and saluted, in fact, there was nothing to pack, and I came back for only one night, almost zipping my suitcase and leaving.

When I took the salute downstairs, my mother had already finished speaking, and when she saw me holding the salute, she hurriedly came over to ask.

"What's wrong with you, you just came back, where are you going?" Mother asked anxiously.

"Mom, something suddenly happened in the company for me to hurry back, I'm leaving." I lied, and I didn't want her to know the real reason I was leaving.

"What's the matter?" My mother hurriedly walked up to me, and I straightened the tie of my suit as I walked.

"I don't know, anyway, it's in a hurry, hey, I'll leave first, don't send it, you take care of yourself." I hurriedly explained and went out.

"Hey, then you should be careful on the road." My mother couldn't, so she watched me leave at the door.

I hurried to the intersection, hailed a taxi and got in.

"Where's the boss?" The driver saw that I was anxious and hurriedly asked me.

"North Station." I'll put it simply. Actually, I haven't figured out where I'm going yet, I just want to get out of here as soon as possible.

Goodbye Mother, please forgive me for my deception, and come back when I find the truth myself.

What I didn't know was that this would turn my life upside down.
