Chapter 15 Defences

Chapter XV Defense Facilities

It took me a day and a half to get to that reflective area. Pen | fun | pavilion www. biquge。 info

The reason why I say that area is because I can't locate it very precisely.

During this day of work, I thought about the so-called prism thing. But because there was so little to prove my hypothesis, I didn't know what it was.

Then there's the countdown number on the prism. Obviously, this set of countdowns didn't start until I found out about it. In other words, this countdown was triggered by me.

Although I don't know how I triggered it.

That's a bit of a bizarre.

All I know now is that I activated the countdown. That is, after this countdown is over, something will definitely happen. And it feels like this thing has something to do with me. It's just that I don't know what's going to happen yet.

I decided to put this matter aside for now. After all, there is still a day and a half left before the countdown ends. And I'm confident that it will only take me another half a day to find that reflective thing.

And I have a faint feeling right now. That is, this reflective thing may also have something to do with the prism. It's a feeling under certain conditions. There is no basis for this.

But in fact, this thing really has something to do with the prism in the volcano.

This thing, it's a huge box.

A huge glass case.

Inside, there are some things that are often seen in life. The list is as follows:

A shovel

A barrel of gasoline (about 100 liters)

A barrel of gunpowder (about five kilograms)

A mountain axe

A handful of saws

Foods several, including some meat and nuts.

Of course, the most important thing is that there is a set of clothes inside.

Camouflage.

But it doesn't matter. Life in the forest is not much different from being in the jungle. Besides, the pajamas I brought with me at the beginning have been cut over time and now there isn't much left. It's just a few key parts.

Even though I knew that there might not be a second person on this island besides me, I still couldn't change that habit of being in a civilized society.

For example, you still have to wipe it after going to the toilet.

with leaves.

If the leaves are prickly, then pick up a small stick and scrape.

Don't think it's disgusting. This just proves that I still maintain the quality of a civilized society. It has not fallen to the point of shamelessness.

Far from it. Back to the point.

Some of you might be curious to know what happens after the countdown is over.

There's no hurry, I'll get to that in the next chapter. And it could be a lot, a lot. Now what I want to say is that I have so many things that can only be produced in a civilized society at one time, and I decided to make something first.

This thing is called a shelter.

I've talked too much about shelters in previous narratives. So much so that some people may think that the so-called shelter is a place to sleep through simple construction.

It's called a temporary shelter. What I'm going to build now should belong to the category of houses.

It's a very ambitious project. Before I could build it, I needed to actually survey the terrain and get an idea of the creatures that would be around me. These external factors will determine the level of safety I want to build my home.

Of course, this is later.

It is absolutely impossible to build a house in such a short time. Besides, I'm less than a day away from the countdown completely zeroing.

In less than a day, you may not understand the anxiety and apprehension in your heart. But what if you think of it as when the test results are coming out? The feeling of passing but worrying about failing...... (Greetings from the University Dog)

With half a day left in the countdown, I finally made a decision.

I returned to the base of that mountain.

I didn't go up. Because there wasn't enough time for me to climb up again.

I set up a shelter at the foot of the mountain with a higher level of security than any previous one. I've used almost everything I can in this shelter. This includes a lot of wood cut down from the forest.

The sixth sense tells me that at the end of the countdown, something particularly dangerous may happen. So during this time, I want to finish the construction of this shelter as much as I can.

There are no nails to fit, so use the physical relationship between the forces and the forces, layer by layer, so that the surrounding walls are not destroyed by the slightest thing.

Since this shelter is built against the mountain, I tried to make it follow the direction of the mountain wall. So on the wall behind me, most of it was a mountain. Only a few parts I closed with wood.

I don't have to worry about food at all.

Everything in that huge glass case has been transported by me to my current shelter. And that includes those foods. And judging by the amount of food, it was enough for me to live for three days without doing anything.

The construction of the shelter took more than half a day. At the end of the construction, I stood in front of it. A sense of accomplishment that I had never felt before.

In my own opinion, this shelter should have no problem resisting a typhoon of magnitude 6 or 7. Besides, my current position is far from the shoreline, and even if there is a tsunami after the countdown is completed, it will definitely not affect my current position.

But even so, I used that barrel of gunpowder just in case.

As I've said before, bamboo can be used for a myriad of purposes. Now all I have to use is bamboo.

Do you know what a fire gun is? Haven't seen it? What a coincidence, I haven't seen it either.

But I know how it works.

Of course, I don't have anything but gunpowder for the guns. There was no other way to use the barrel than to act as a bamboo. And after my experiments, an old bamboo that has grown for seven or eight years can only withstand the impact of gunpowder twice.

According to the ratio of gunpowder, that is to say, five kilograms of gunpowder can make about 100 rudimentary guns.

Theoretically, yes. It's just that time doesn't allow it now. Judging from the degree of darkness, there are still about two hours left, and the countdown will be completely zero. And the fire guns I have made now are only six. And that's on the premise of extremely fast speeds.

When I estimated that there was still an hour or so to go, I finally stopped what I was doing and planned to eat something to replenish it.

Here are some of the things before me right now:

Weapons for self-defense: a diving knife, a shovel, a mountain axe, and a craftsman's saw.

Disaster-resistant items: A shelter made of 80% wood.

Items used to defend the shelter: Six bamboo firebolts. Each root is limited to two uses.

Food for subsistence: an unknown bunch of jerky, a handful of nuts, five coconuts.

It's all I have now. I'm going to use these things to fend off what is going to happen in an hour.

I don't know what's going to happen next, but that's all I can do now. May God be an old man

Phew, I hope the Buddha didn't take a nap.

Buddha bless, I hope all this is just too much to think.
