Chapter 18: A New Departure

Chapter 18: Start Again

I never thought about me, and I lived a total of twenty-four years from birth to now. In the past twenty-four years, www.biquge.info have been overturned by a group of pigs and trampled me.

If it weren't for the prism on the top of the mountain, a red light that sparked straight into the sky and scared away the wild boars, I guess I would have been ravaged to the point that I would have lost my human form.

There must be something wrong with that prism. That's my first thought.

In the crater of a deserted island, such a crystal with a strong atmosphere of science and technology will appear. It can even display the countdown function like an LED display.

Add to that the anomaly of the sun's trajectory on this small island.

I have every reason to doubt the veracity of all this.

Let's not talk about whether or not this is a prank on me. Even if it were, to make such a big prank, the cost would be unimaginably huge in the first place. And so far I haven't been able to guess who's in charge of all this.

This small island is just so strange. Not only is the sun's trajectory abnormal, but even some creatures that shouldn't be seen can be seen on this island.

Don't talk about it, just talk about the group of wild boars that attacked me just now. Wild boars are unlikely to live in such a primeval forest. Plus there's no way to geolocate the island......

The doubt in my heart made the thought in my head stronger and stronger.

I'm going to prove it. My heart said.

And the way to prove that idea is to go back to the crater. I'm going to figure out what that prism is all about.

There is also something to be clarified, which is the so-called Prism Project.

It is clear that this so-called plan was not set off before my arrival. But I didn't do anything to activate such a rectangular crystal other than touching the prism with my hand.

In other words, this crystal was actually in a dormant state before I came. My arrival triggered the awakening mechanism, causing it to wake up from its slumber. Then, according to the pre-set procedure, the implementation of that prism plan begins.

But maybe it wasn't because of my arrival that the prism was activated. Maybe the medium that activates the prism is just a person? As long as a person comes around it, or reaches out and touches it, it can be activated......

Regardless, this speculation is now the most credible. All I have to do now is go back to Prism and get to the bottom of it.

Because vaguely, I can feel that the reason why I came back to this place is probably the ghost of this prism.

The idea was decided. But now I am faced with a very awkward problem.

That is, after the previous battle with the wild boar, I now have no strength to stand up again.

You ask me why I wasn't hurt?

Joke. You've been over by a bunch of wild boars.

In addition to multiple abrasions and bites, at least three of my fingers were broken by the boar's hooves. There is no feeling in the left leg below the knee. I don't know exactly what the situation is. But the Buddha blesses, there is no sense of meaning, I hope it is not eaten by wild boars......

There was no more pain. I lay on my back, as if I had really been wheeled, looking at the sky with tearful eyes.

I'm so hungry right now.

I'm so thirsty.

Good...... I want to pee.

But I couldn't move. I couldn't even feel the rest of my body except that my brain was still functioning.

Am I hanging?

Impossible. If so, what is the situation now? Isn't it a third-person perspective when people die in Crossfire, why is it still first-person?

Not dead, not dead. My heart said. It's just that it can't move now. It may be because the resistance just now was too fierce, which has led to some loss of strength now. You should be able to recover after a little rest. I consoled myself so much.

He lay on the ground for a day and a night.

A whole day and a night.

When the first rays of sunlight shone on me the next morning, I slowly woke up from my sleep.

Miraculously, there were no wild beasts around me for a day and a night. Not even mosquitoes......

I tried to move my fingers, and found that my fingers were already moving.

Move your feet...... The foot felt it, too.

No way. It turned out to be good.

I was a little ecstatic. Gollum got up from the ground, looked at his hands, and tried to clench his fists. I found that all the fingers that had been stepped on before had grown up.

When I looked at my left leg again, I found that the part below the knee seemed to be nothing, except for the pants that were torn. Even those abrasions on the body, there is no trace of it now.

It's as if nothing has happened.

Looking around, the carcasses of the wild boars I killed were all gone. And that's not all, the blood on the ground is gone.

"Holy, what's the situation? Dream? I was stunned for a moment. But this idea was immediately dispelled.

It can't be a dream. It's all too real. The pain at first, the fear of being stared at by the bloodshot eyes of the beast, came like a tidal wave.

Memories sometimes make people doubt the truth of things, but the bone-chilling pain in the body does not.

Even now I can't find any scars on my body. But that doesn't affect my affirmation of what happened the day before.

Something is definitely happening. This is evidenced by the wood scattered around me.

This is the wood I used to build the shelter. It's just that the shelter didn't withstand the attack of the initial hurricane and disintegrated first.

It must be related. All of this must have something to do with that prism.

That countdown was like a warning to me about what would happen when time went to zero. And at the end of the countdown, a hurricane blew in the interior of the island, something that there is absolutely no way to explain with natural science. And after the hurricane, the wild boar that could not appear in the primeval forest also appeared just right, and the target of the attack happened to be me, who inadvertently activated the prism.

None of this is accidental.

I was even more sure of my conjecture.

Okay, now all I have to do is clean up, I'm going to go up to it again, and this time I'm going to figure out what the prism is.

After making up my mind, I started cleaning up the battlefield.

However, to clean up the battlefield is actually to clean up the mess. This time, if it hadn't been for the light emitted by the prism at the critical time, the wild boar would not have escaped.

In other words, it was the prism that saved me.

In other words, I am the loser in this battle. I did not defend myself against the attack of the boars.

But that's normal.

A world-class boxing champion can't necessarily beat down 20 ordinary young guys at once, right? Besides, I remember not only knocking over three or four wild boars, but also biting several of them.

That's right, it's a bite.

The gentleman does not move his hands.

Oh, wrong, it's a tooth for a tooth.

Whoever let those brutes bite me first?

After looking around for a while, I finally found the dried meat that had been blown away in a meadow not far away, and the coconuts that had rolled out in the hurricane.

These coconuts are all I have for my water now. Although there are many ways to find fresh water in the forest. But those methods are nowhere near as fast as they can collect fresh water and smash a coconut. That's why I'm still focusing on coconut water.

In the ruins of the sanctuary, I found the remaining keg of gunpowder, and the vaat of oil that had not yet had time to use.

This large barrel of oil is not cooking oil. When you open it and look inside, you can tell it by color, it looks more like diesel fuel.

But that's okay too. With this fuel, at least in terms of fire, I don't have to worry about it. And I can make torches and stuff like that. This way, in addition to the campfire, I can also have other emergency lighting measures at night. Don't worry about a sudden heavy rain that douses all the light.

As for my earthen cannons, I don't want to mention them now. Before the hell could be fired, it was all reimbursed.

It seems that I will have to study this kind of defensive weapon carefully in the future. Otherwise, next time, the wild boar will be replaced by a bison......

That's really an old cow cart......

After eating most of the jerky I had picked up, I began to pack my gear.

Now I don't take that artisan's saw, I put it here, and I'll be able to use it when I get down the mountain. The opening axe must be taken. There are also diving knives, which you have to bring with you.

Needless to say, the food. Since there are ready-made ones, then I don't have the need to eat bugs.

I cut a small piece of cloth with a knife and brought a small packet of gunpowder with me. (I don't know what the use of carrying it is, but it's right to carry something that can create a lot of fire and smoke at any time.)

Before I left, I made a simple torch out of diesel. That way, at least I don't have to dig wood desperately to make a fire.

With everything I had, I looked at the camp in front of me again.

It's still a mess. But it doesn't matter. I'll clean up when I get back.

At that time, I will use all my wisdom to build a wooden house that can withstand a hurricane of the same magnitude as last time. At that time, if any more wild boars attacked me, Lao Tzu would hide in the house and beat them with homemade earthen cannons.

I still don't believe it, no matter how earthy the earth cannon is, I still have confidence in turning over one shot at close range.

Well, that's all for now. Now I'm going to start again, back to the crater again.

This time I went up, and I didn't know when I would be able to come down. But I believe that when I come down, that's when I figure out the so-called Prism Project.
