Chapter 17: Voldemort's Intentions
Voldemort noticed that Snape's eyes were happy, and he was still a little puzzled. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info
But then he heard Snape's praise, and thought he was glad that he didn't believe Lucius's slander.
So he no longer doubted, and said to Snape: "My most trusted friend, tell me what important news you have brought?" β
Snape looked at the people around him and said mysteriously, "This news is very important, and I hope to report it to you alone." β
Voldemort frowned and looked at Snape across from him, and from his calm expression, Voldemort couldn't see anything wrong at all.
So he waved his wand to untie Snape, and shouted to the people around him, "Get out of here!" β
Everyone bowed their heads and quickly left the manor hall one by one, and Lucius and his wife were secretly glad that they were not deeply pursued by Voldemort, and left quickly.
The madwoman Bellatrix was unhappy, jealous of Snape's appreciation for the Dark Lord.
However, she was not happy to have a seizure in the presence of her master, so she could only glare at Snape fiercely and leave angrily.
"What news are you going to say? Let me warn you Snape, don't let me down, if this news is not as important as you say, I think you know very well what the consequences are. β
Voldemort was in a terrible mood right now because he had lost an important Horcrux, and it was impossible to predict what blood-type cruelty Snape would do if the news he was about to say didn't satisfy him.
Snape knew this very well, and he was not so afraid, and said in a calm voice: "My master, Dumbledore has a cultivator from the East. β
Voldemort was a little impatient, waved his hand and said, "I know, that guy named Ling Zifeng, he used to ruin my big things, but his strength is not enough for me to see, even with his new helpers." β
Snape was slightly shocked, he didn't know that Ling Zifeng and Voldemort had already fought each other, but the person who could fight Voldemort and still be alive was either an exaggeration of luck, or his own strength should not be underestimated.
Luck is sometimes part of strength, and Snape kept his usual calm demeanor on his face as he churned violently inside.
He continued, "My masters, they attacked me, and these people revealed my spy identity to Dumbledore. β
Voldemort's eyes narrowed, "That's all you have to say?" β
Hearing his unkind tone, Snape hurriedly added, "Oh, of course not, my master, these people also claim to know your greatest secret!" β
Hearing this, Voldemort's blood-red snake eyes became sharper, and his voice became a little imperceptible fluctuating, and the urn asked angrily, "What secret?" β
As he spoke, the magical elements around Voldemort became frantically agitated, causing a wave of heat to burn the air around him.
Voldemort was a little angry, he was already annoyed by the loss of the diary, and now he heard Snape say something suddenly, telling him not to be angry.
Snape took a step back, a little afraid of Voldemort's wrath, and he said tremblingly, "I didn't hear the specifics, but I heard them say that they know the great secret of your immortality, and it seems that the thing that was stolen this time has something to do with this secret." β
Voldemort pondered for a moment, and he thought to himself, "It seems that Dumbledore did know the secret of his Horcruxes, but how much did they know?" Or do you only know one? β
This question was very critical, so Voldemort adjusted his mood and said with a hypocritical smile at Snape, "Very good~ my most faithful servant." β
"I have a very important question for you to answer, you have to think about it!"
Hearing his unkind tone, Snape secretly swallowed his saliva, but his expression remained calm, and with a respectful look on his face, he nodded to Voldemort and said, "No problem, my master, please speak." β
Voldemort put his hand over his forehead, pondered his words, and said, "Did they say they found some secrets?" β
He spoke of "several" very seriously, Snape knew the details, and Voldemort was beware that the secrets of his seven Horcruxes had been revealed.
However, it was impossible for Snape to fully convey the message to Voldemort, and he knew that this was the key to Ling Zifeng's layout.
So he bowed his head slightly and said, "I'm sorry, my master, I didn't hear this, because my eavesdropping was discovered by them, and I had to flee." β
Voldemort frowned slightly, thinking, "It doesn't matter if you don't hear it, I can't know all my secrets, they can't know where all the Horcruxes are hidden." β
So he turned to look at Snape, and said in a cold voice, "You can go, don't tell anyone about this, or γγγγγγ β
Snape shuddered, and said in a trembling voice, "Master, please rest assured. His fear of Voldemort was not pretended, and he hurriedly bowed and quickly left.
No sooner had Snape left than Voldemort began to think on his own. Dumbledore actually had someone on his side who knew his secret, and that wasn't going to work.
Do they know the location of the Horcruxes? Or do you only know a few of them? He thought to himself that Snape's report had come too coincidentally, and that this guy couldn't take it all.
If this is Dumbledore's counter-ploy, he wants to use Snape to make himself nervousγγγγγγ
Voldemort slapped the table in front of him heavily, and he thought to himself, "They want to make me nervous, let me show my feet." When I go and find out if the Horcrux is safe, I'll wait for the rabbit. That's right, that's it! β
Voldemort wanted to understand this, and he decided not to be fooled.
Of course, he can't passively wait for news, he can't let the enemy do whatever he wants, he must let the enemy be carried away by his actions, and only then can he check the safety of the Horcrux.
Thinking of this, Voldemort shouted out the door, "Lucius! β
Hearing the shout, Lucius trotted all the way to the hall, and he humbly bowed his head and replied in a respectful tone: "Master, what is the matter with you?" β
He trembled and wondered, "Isn't the Dark Lord trying to settle his previous scores?" β
Voldemort looked at Lucius and smiled cruelly: "There is no need to track down the whereabouts of the enemy, and I don't want to pursue you when you go to Snape in private, I have to take the initiative now and pick a target!" β
"What do you say? My master? Lucius asked, a little puzzled, bewildered by the sudden questioning, and looked at Voldemort curiously, waiting for his next instructions.
"Declare war! We're going to take the initiative, we're going to purge heresy and teach those who don't respect the bloodlines of noble magicians a lesson, pick our first target and use this attack to announce to the world that we're back! β
Hearing his master say this, Lucius's eyes were suddenly full of fire.
Their Death Eaters' philosophy is to promote the "supremacy of magic", but they have always operated in the shadows, always hiding in the shadows.
I don't know what happened to the Dark Lord today, but he actually asked them to move to the Ming Place.
Of course, this change is something Lucius would love to see, as he is a nobleman with an ancient magical heritage, and he is very passionate about proclaiming his majesty and defending the "supremacy of magic".
(The supremacy of magic, in which magicians are inherently superior and ordinary people are only worthy of being slaves of magicians, used Voldemort to co-opt a large number of followers.) οΌ
As for the object of retaliation, it was naturally one of Lucius's most hated men - Arthur Weasley, Ron's father and Dumbledore's most loyal supporter.
Coincidentally, the four plot protagonists that Ling Zifeng needs to protect are now all at Arthur's house!
