Chapter 14: The Classic of Mountains and Seas

Reason tells me that if this continues, the unknown changes may be even more uncontrollable. www.biquge.info But I can't take care of it anymore, the temptation like a new life makes me want to stop and can't help myself. Fortunately, in the future practice, except for the stronger and stronger sense of qi in the body, and the light in the lower abdomen gradually forming from a small dot, like a bead, and growing day by day, there is no abnormality in the body.

And for these changes in myself, I disguised them very well, and did not show the slightest abnormality; And it was not addressed to anyone, not even the abbot. In my opinion, this should be a secret that is hidden deep in my heart and cannot be shared with anyone.

This may be an instinctive act of self-preservation. The story of the little monk left a big psychological shadow on me, and made me realize that if I am different, I will be seen as different. If you want to stay here, you can't let people think that I'm a monster, and you can't let the tragedy of the little monk repeat itself on me.

As my cultivation deepened, I began to feel that my self-benefit was strong. Looking at the crowd of beings around me, I have a feeling of being high up, looking down on all beings, and looking at chickens and insects with white eyes. I also often have a sense of compassion, just like when you look down at the ants on the ground, and watch them run around all day long to make ends meet, and you can easily put obstacles in the way, change its trajectory, or even crush it to death, and take its life. They don't know you exist, and they are really in control of your fate.

But sometimes I think, I can control the fate of ants, and who is in charge of my fate? Maybe I'm just an ant in the eyes of my master.

The mountains can be overcast at times, especially at night. At night, I often feel some strange clouds of fog drifting in the mountains. I was a little scared at first, but I realized that as soon as I recited the mantra, the things would turn into bits of light and disappear. I suspect that the air mass may be the undead who are obsessed with the world, because of the deep resentment and lingering in the world, they cannot be detached. And the mantra I recited just happened to liberate them, that is, I overtook them, right? Hehe, in this way, I still did a good thing! Hi, who knows! Maybe it made their souls scattered, and I don't know.

Sometimes, I wonder if the initial changes in my body were related to the dream, was it really just a dream? Also, is the huge face pattern under the neck of the giant snake the same thing as the big face that the little monk saw when he was bumped into it? These have always been questions on my mind.

I also thought about going to the bottom of the cliff to see if there was really a giant snake with eyes like a torch below. However, since that incident, the abbot has made it a forbidden place, and I am not allowed to go even half a step closer. On the one hand, in order to reassure the abbot, on the other hand, I also vaguely felt that it was not the right time, so I decided to put aside my curiosity for the time being, practice in the Scripture Pavilion, and wait until I became stronger.

Time flies so fast, two cold and summer have passed in a blink of an eye, and the books in the Scripture Pavilion have been read by me. But every day I still go there to burn incense and meditate, it has become a part of my life, and it is a compulsory lesson every night.

That night, as usual, I went to the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, put on incense, meditated and practiced, and I was still very energetic, so I wanted to find a book to revisit.

Flipping through it, I accidentally knocked over a copy. I squatted down to pick it up, but I caught a glimpse of this bookshelf being a little different from the others. While the bottom of other bookshelves is a partition off the floor, the bottom layer of this shelf is connected to the floor. Because there is no difference in height, I didn't even notice it before.

Why is it so special? I took a closer look and found that the base was a whole, and there was nothing strange about it. When I took down all the books on it and looked closely, I found that the top plate was inlaid in, and there was a less obvious gap around the edges. The workmanship is exquisite and seamless, and you really can't see it if you don't look carefully.

I squatted there and was worried, I didn't even have a grip, how could I take out this small board? It is estimated that the thinnest blade of such a thin slit will not be able to be inserted, but what about it?

I sat on the floor, my hands on my cheeks, helpless. You can't bother to get such a thing out for no reason, right? It must have some use, right? But how do you open it? You can't break it, can you?

If you go to the four pillars above, this thing actually looks like a big box, so what are the usual ways to open the box? I searched my mind for the usual way to open the box, with locks, latches, and brackets. The latch, obviously, no, can be removed; If you use a lock, there is definitely no open lock, unless it is combined with a password, and there is no place to press the password for the time being; If it is said to be bracketed, it is the same as the combination lock, and it also needs to trigger the button of the bracket.

After thinking about it, there was no result, so I pinched and touched the "box" again. I still didn't find it, and I didn't feel angry, and smashed it on it with a fist, not wanting the top board to pop off with a "snap". I pressed it down again, and it closed again with a click. I tried to punch again, and the top plate opened again. It's so simple to make trouble for a long time, it's just a small mechanism that presses the spring, and it took me half a day.

When I took the top plate, I saw that it was neatly laid out and full of books, all of which looked very old. I was overjoyed in my heart, this must be some kind of rare ancient book, otherwise it would not have been so hidden.

If I got a treasure, I looked through it, and it turned out to be a complete set, and the right side of the cover was written with three big characters of "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". There are thirteen volumes in total, each of which is a book, and each book is full of text and pictures. I sat down on the floor impatiently, and from the first volume onwards, I was quickly fascinated by the legends of the monsters recorded in it, and it was really interesting.

I was excitedly flipping through the pages quickly, and suddenly a paragraph of text caught my eye and caught my attention. "Beyond the Northwest Sea, north of Chishui, there is Zhangwei Mountain. There is a god, the face of the human snake is naked, the eyes are straight, the eyes are obscure, and the sight is clear. No food, no sleep, wind and rain are admonishable. It is the candle nine yin, and it is called the candle dragon. "A snake with a human face and a red body?" As I stared at these words, I immediately remembered the giant snake with eyes like a torch. I was in a daze, and the memories that had been deliberately dusted poured out like a tide......

That's where it all began, and maybe it's time to go down the cliff.
