36. Chaotic war

"Run! Run, run, run!! I slapped Changle the shoulder and yelled at him.

The white tiger immediately turned its head and rushed towards the ventilation window of the tunnel, and jumped high and swooped down towards the small window, which was only more than a meter high.

The tiger's huge body must not be able to get in, but when it was in the air, the white tiger suddenly disappeared in a flash of white light. I hadn't practiced much kung fu, and the only thing I could do in this situation was to aim at the little window and lay myself flat, and pray that I would get through and not hit the ground.

I don't know if it was the tiger jumping more accurately or if I was lucky, I just slipped straight through the ventilation window and fell into the tunnel.

After my feet landed, I kept running straight away, and I just ran out of the estimation that it was less than ten meters, and the golden light lit up behind me, and I didn't need to look back to know what was chasing me!

Having this glowing golden warrior chasing down behind also made it easy for us to move quickly through the tunnels.

This tunnel was originally dark and rumbling, and it was really inconvenient to run with a lantern while illuminating it. But now, with those glowing things in the back to light us up, I can also see the road ahead clearly, I just need to follow Changle all the way forward quickly.

Changle quickly ran to the most conventional exit, the ladder entrance where I first entered this underground tunnel.

The glowing sunlit samurai along the way never got out of our way, which made me feel a lot of pressure when climbing the ladder.

Luckily, we were quick with our movements, and we climbed to the ground and rushed out of the hut before the samurai could get closer.

Outside, the next thing was much easier, Tsunegaku summoned the white tiger out, and the two of us rode on the back of the tiger and galloped towards the woods, and the Amaterasu samurai behind were quickly thrown out of the way by us. Chang Le deliberately controlled the speed of the White Tiger God, so that those Anotesu warriors would not be left too far behind by us and follow in the wrong direction.

Incidentally, we lured the Amaterasu warriors into the woods where the German vampires had retreated, and we didn't have to go far in the woods when we ran into a patrol of three people.

"Scattered!!" I shouted at Chang Le.

Chang Le immediately took the White Tiger God away.

As soon as we landed, we parted left and right, and the woodland, which resembled a primeval forest, was full of bushes and waist-high grasses that we could easily hide ourselves from by quickly burrowing into them.

The three German vampires seemed to be about to split up after us, but they stopped halfway through their movements, and then shot into the air with a loud shout, apparently signaling their companions. Then the three of them lined up and fired in unison.

I could see the direction of their attack in the grass. They weren't beating me or Joraku, but they were shooting together at the Amaterasu samurai who were chasing us.

There were only four samurai chasing after them, and although they only had a sword in their hands, this did not mean that their combat effectiveness was weak.

The bullets from the assault rifles clanged into the armor of the Amaterasu samurai, but they couldn't hurt them in the slightest, and they couldn't even slow down their charge, and almost in an instant, the four samurai were already in front of the German vampires.

The three Germans showed no intention of retreating, they roared in a frenzy, then threw their guns on the ground, jumped up, and pounced on Amaterasu.

Seeing that the vampire rushing to the front was about to pounce on an Amurasu samurai, but with a bright white light flashing, the German vampire who jumped in the air was cut in two pieces from the middle of his body, and the corpse of the split family fell to the ground.

Hmmm~Boom~!

Two more flashes followed, and the other two vampires fell to the ground.

Amaterasu shook the sword in his hand, shook off the blood stains on the sword, and then put the sword back into its sheath, his movements chic and elegant.

I saw this in the grass, and I was amazed and swallowed my saliva. If I had to fight with these things, I guessed that a hundred lives would not be enough to die, but fortunately I had those German madmen as cannon fodder.

After killing the three vampires, the four Amaterasu warriors did not look for me and Joraku, but went straight to the lair of the German vampires, and everything went as I expected. The four of them started walking, but then gradually accelerated, and Zuihou began to run wildly, and in a blink of an eye, he disappeared from my sight.

"Chang Le!" I shouted in the bushes.

"In!" Chang Le replied in the bushes opposite.

"In the past?"

"Wait! Wait for the gunshots to go off! Chang Le replied patiently and calmly.

In this situation, where my own life is at stake, I'd rather cooperate well with an annoying guy like Chang Le than sing a word against him. Since he said to be calm, then I chose to be calm.

I hid for about four or five minutes, when the clatter of machine guns rang out from the deepest part of the woods, and it never stopped. It was clear that the four Amaterasu warriors had already fought the German vampires, and it should have been about the same as it had been now.

Just as I was about to say hello to Changle and ask him to come with me, suddenly the whole forest became bright!

The woods were as dark as night before, but before the blink of an eye, it was already dawn, and along with these bright rays of light, more than a dozen golden-armored warriors descended from the sky, and after landing on the ground, they immediately drew their swords at their waists, and then rushed away in the direction where the gunshots came from.

I was secretly glad I hadn't shouted, and at the same time kept my head as low as possible to avoid being seen by the "knife-bearers" who came down from heaven.

When the light completely disappeared from the woods, and those golden-armored warriors ran away from us, I quickly got out and ran to Changle to join him. Then we waited a little longer, and when we were sure that there were no follow-up samurai, we cautiously approached the bushes in the direction where the gunshots continued to be heard.

There was no need for any signs or anything like that to guide us in the way, and before we got close to the hut, we were already seeing a scuffle. The German vampires didn't use guns anymore, they all slashed at the Amaterasu samurai with knives and shields, and this method seemed to work, as you can see from the empty shell armor scattered on the ground.

Amaterasu's sword skills are worried, but the number is insufficient, although there are many German devils, but to kill a samurai, it takes three or four people, so that the two of them can only fight a draw, and there is no difference for the time being.

Changle and I walked around to the side of the mountain, and then we chose the right time to move towards the door of the wooden house.

The door to the hut was closed, and two guns peeked out of the window, apparently ready to attack the samurai who approached the window.

I glanced at the ground and saw a small shield falling from the grass not far away. I reached over and secretly took the shield and put it on my arm, and I guess it would be possible to use it to block the bullets.

Chang Le didn't think about self-preservation at all, he directly got under the window of the wooden house, and then suddenly raised his hand and grabbed the two gun heads that poked out of the window, and then shook his hand vigorously. The wooden window clicked, and the two German vampires were thrown out of the window, even with guns.

"It's in!!"

Chang Le shouted, then turned over and jumped through the window into the wooden house.
