Thursday, September 12, 1996, snow
Today the sky is not beautiful, the sky began to drift snowflakes, the guide said that today can not go, the snow in the mountain will be very dangerous. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info However, the professor insisted on moving forward, and the guide had no choice but to take us on.
The wind was blowing, the snow was falling gently, and we walked very slowly, and the wind hurt on our faces like knives. We didn't know how far we went, and there was a roar of wild beasts, and the guide waved us to stop, and he listened carefully for a while, and then anxiously told us that it was the cry of wolves, and that a group of wolves were coming in our direction, and that we needed to find a place to hide. If we don't hide and collide with them, we're in danger.
Seeing that the guide was serious, the professor had to stop moving forward. Then we started looking for a place to hide, but there were trees nearby, and it was snowing in the sky, so there was no place to hide.
The guide said he knew of a place where we could hide, and he could take us there, but in the other direction. The professor knew that the wolves were coming, so he didn't care if it was in one direction, so he asked the guide to take us there.
Then the guide took us in a different direction, and the wind and snow were getting heavier and heavier, and we were walking more and more slowly. After walking for a while, the guide told us that we had arrived, and when we looked, it turned out to be a cave.
A few soldiers carefully entered the cave, and the guide said that there were often hunters who spent the night in it, and there would be no danger. A few soldiers checked inside, and when they found that there was no danger, they came out and let us in.
When we went in, we realized that the cave was not very deep, but it was still possible for a group of us to hide in it. The cave is just in the direction of leeward, and the wind cannot blow into the cave.
We sat down in the cave, and a few people picked up some branches from outside and made a fire in the cave, and the hole became much brighter. The snow was falling heavier outside, and it didn't look like it was going to stop at all, and now I couldn't even see anything far away.
The guide told us to wait for the snow to stop before leaving, and now we can't see the road when we go out. The professor thought for a moment and agreed, so we waited in the cave.
However, we waited all day, and the snow did not stop outside, and it continued to fall into the evening, and the wind was still blowing, so we had to stay in the cave for the night.
In the evening, several of the professor's students sat there chatting. One of them, probably bored, kicked his foot at the cave wall, and when he reached the bottom of the cave, he kicked out a small hole. And he told us to go and see it, and said it was empty.
When we looked over, he kicked out a hole, and it looked like it was really empty. The professor called a few soldiers to open up the place, but he didn't expect a passage to appear after opening it. It's dark inside the passage, and I don't know where it leads.
I asked the professor what to do, if he wanted to go in and have a look. The professor said it was too late and that it would be too late until dawn tomorrow. Then let each of us go to rest, and let the soldiers take turns to keep vigil.
Friday, 13 September 1996
When we woke up this morning, the snow had stopped and the wind was not blowing, but the ground outside was covered with a thick layer of snow, and the trees were covered with snow, and some of the branches were broken.
After everyone was up, I looked at the passage I had found last night, and I asked the professor if we were going to continue into the mountain or to take a look inside the passage. The professor said that since you have met it, let's go inside and have a look.
So we packed our bags and went to the entrance of the passage, which was still pitch black and we couldn't see anything. The guide said that the passages found in these mountains should not be entered casually, otherwise they would not be able to get out if they entered. But no one listened to him, he said that if we wanted to go in then let him go back, he only showed us the way into the mountain, he did not go to this passage, he did not go in, and it was useless to go together. A few of the soldiers stood behind him with guns in their hands, blocking his way out of the cave, so frightened that he agreed to go with us into the passage.
The professor asked us to pull out our flashlights and get ready to go inside. We took out a flashlight and shone it into the passage, and found that it was a stone wall inside, and the flashlight could not reach the end, and we didn't know how deep it was. A few soldiers walked inside with guns in hand, intending to explore the road in front, and then Professor Wang and I followed, Professor Wang's students followed us, and the other soldiers pushed the guide into the passage at the end.
It's very dry inside, and I don't know what would have been done here, or what was the use of it.
I don't know how long I walked, but it was still pitch black in front of me, as if I would never finish. We walked like that, and just as everyone was complaining, there was a light in front of us, and it was almost at the end, and everyone was happy.
Finally, we walked out of the passage and were taken aback by the sight that appeared before us. There was a river in front of us, and on the other side was a dense forest, and the forest was full of tall trees, and a sun hung in the sky.
When we arrived in Heilongjiang, everyone wore thick cotton jackets, because the weather in Heilongjiang was already very cold, and it snowed in Daxinganling yesterday. However, in this place, there was no snow to be seen, as if we had gone from north to south at once. But we were obviously still in Daxinganling just now, how could we have walked through a passage to such a place?
Everyone was surprised, we turned to look at the passage, but there was still a passage, the passage we came out of just now has disappeared at some point.
Why is this happening? We just came out of that passage, how could we have disappeared in the blink of an eye? We searched around for a long time, but we still didn't find the passage, as if it had never appeared.
When the guide saw that the passage had disappeared, he sat on the ground and howled and said, "I have long said that you should not come in casually, and if you come in, you will not be able to get out, and if you don't listen, what should you do if you really can't get out now."
I and several of the professor's students seemed flustered, but the professor and the soldiers didn't seem to panic at all, and they didn't know what to discuss. Then the professor told us not to mess around, it was going to be fine. We listened and gradually stabilized.
We felt so hot here that we took off our padded jackets and put them away. One of the professor's students walked to the river to wash his face, when suddenly he turned to us and shouted at us, saying that there seemed to be something in the water. We looked at him, only to see a monster suddenly rise up in the river and bite him on the leg and drag him into the water.
