Miscellaneous theories of double carving
1. The gap between the levels of the hierarchy
The problem of the gap between each level should have been included in the setting of the strength and weakness levels, but since it is a later supplement, it is simply placed here. Pen | fun | pavilion www. biquge。 info
In fact, through the previous standards at all levels, there should be a perceptual understanding:
A difference of 1 whole level (such as 6C vs. 5C) is a very obvious difference, which is basically a difference between three and two clicks. Even if it is a small level of difference (such as 6C vs. 6D), it is enough for us to see that as long as it is a fair duel, the lower side basically has little hope of winning.
With a difference of 1.5 whole levels (such as 6A vs. 5C), even if you are on alert with a low hand, you can basically get it with one move, and even when you take the initiative to attack with a low hand, you will be dealt with by the opponent with one blow.
But the problem is that these standards are all applied when it is heads-up, and if it is a group fight, or 1-to-many, there is more trouble.
Because there are too many factors that affect the outcome of group fights than heads-up, the two most critical factors are: whether the cooperation is tacit and the power of the combination technique.
The combination technique will be explained in detail later, and here we will talk about tacit understanding first.
When the degree of tacit understanding is poor, one-to-many actually becomes a disguised wheel battle, as long as the physical and internal strength are abundant enough, it is possible for one person to defeat N people who are not much worse than themselves. Even if it is a negative tacit understanding, the effect of one-to-many may not be as good as the wheel battle (the more classic battle example is Guo Jing VS Jinlun Dharma King + Xiao Xiangzi, etc.).
And when the degree of tacit understanding is high, it can be called a real joint operation. This situation is usually only possible for people who are very familiar with and often practice together, such as husband and wife, brothers or brothers, parents and children, small groups of the Jiangnan Seven Monsters, and so on, as well as large groups with strong organization and discipline like the military.
However, even if the level of tacit understanding is high, if the average level is a whole level lower than the opponent and the combination technique is not used, it basically takes about 4 people to draw with 1 opponent.
2. Fit technique
The combination technique is a formation, a sleeve, a combination of two swords and the like, generally speaking, the formation is used when there are a large number of people, but this is not entirely the case. Different combined techniques, different functions, different numbers, different requirements, and far from power.
The combined skills in the Condor Archery are basically formations: the Quanzhen Tiangang Beidou Array, the Circle Formation of the Six Monsters in the South of the Yangtze River, and the Solid Wall Formation of the Beggars. From a certain point of view, two-handed fighting can also be regarded as a combination technique, but it is a one-person combination technique. These are the combined skills used in the duel of the rivers and lakes, and the various formations used on the battlefield can also be regarded as a combined technique in a broad sense.
According to the author's greatest principle of combat-related content, we will follow the author's description of the power of the combined technique, whether it is reasonable or not.
(1)。 Tiangang Beidou Array
Judging from the description in the book, this formation is mainly aimed at a single martial arts master, and 7 people must work together, and everyone must have a high level of martial arts and be very proficient in this formation. The power should be relatively strong, due to the interconnection of internal forces, the skill when making moves has increased greatly, and the seven sons of Quanzhen who have been played around in wartime have made Huang Yaoshi feel the pressure of life and death, and the battle has been fought for most of the hour without winning or losing (it is estimated that there are thousands of moves in terms of tricks). In addition, it can also be seen from the following two sentences that this formation can make the opponent unable to get out:
This time he has been deeply trapped in the Tiangang Beidou Array, and unless one of the seven sons is defeated, he will definitely not be able to get out.
At this time, he can't win, and he can't stop. Both sides are riding tigers and are difficult to ride, and they have to go all out.
(2)。 Circle array
This formation seems to be used to defend against multiple strong enemies. Basically, there must be 6 people at the same time, and there can be no obvious weakness (otherwise he will be knocked down by someone and the circle will be flawed), and there is no need to be particularly proficient. The power is not satisfactory, "you don't have to defend behind the back, the power is immediately increased by half a time"
(3)。 Fortified Array
This formation seems to be very flexible: it can be used in a wide range of ways, even against one person and many people; The number of users can be more or less, it doesn't matter how high or low the martial arts are, and there is no need to be particularly proficient in the formation, the only thing needed is tacit understanding (when the number is large, it is organizational discipline).
When there are a large number of people, the power cannot be underestimated: when the beggar gang is not deployed, Guo Jing can defeat the group of beggars alone and gradually approach Yang Kang, which is still without hurting people; After arranging the formation, Guo and Huang couldn't penetrate the layers of solid wall formations at all, and they were forced to almost jump off the cliff.
When the number of people is small, it can at least be better than nothing: Lu Youjiao jumped up, and his arms were tied with Jian and Liang's arms, which was a technique for the beggars to gather people to resist the enemy and resist the strong with the weak.
The disadvantage of this formation is that it is stronger to defend than to attack, and it is easy to let the enemy get out in the open area.
(4)。 Hands fighting
Everyone knows the power of this stunt, and according to my setup, it can at least raise one person by 1 notch.
(5)。 Battle Formation
Anyone who understands cold weapon warfare should know how important the role of formation is in warfare, so I won't bother much. But I want to emphasize that different formations have different effects, different threats to the master, and the difficulty of the master to penetrate it is also different.
For example, the four ghosts of the Yellow River easily penetrated Temujin's escort (although there were only a few hundred people, but they should be the elite soldiers of the elite soldiers, and they may have a level 2 level), and they were also under the condition that the opponent was strictly guarding and firing arrows. The Four Ghosts of the Yellow River themselves are just the strongest in Level 4, and they are not as good as Guo Jing at that time, and the reason why they can easily penetrate the formation should be that the escort team does not set up a formation for martial arts masters. To illustrate the level gap mentioned above: each of the four ghosts of the Yellow River is about 2 whole levels higher than the guards, so every guard who has not made a targeted formation is powerless to stop the four ghosts of the Yellow River.
Similarly, the Six Monsters of Jiangnan also easily penetrated the armies of Sangkun and Zamuhe, which were at least a few thousand people, and they were also strictly guarded (anti-Temujin reinforcements). is also the same reason: there is no formation for martial arts masters. The highest 6D among the six monsters, the lowest 5B.
There is no need to compare anything else, compare it with the Jianbi Formation, and it can be seen that although it seems to be a little stupid, this super-dense formation is a good way for a large group of low-handed opponents to deal with martial arts masters, at least it is not easy to penetrate, or in other words, it improves the skill level required by the penetrator. This is also the reason why Emperor Liao in the Eight Divisions of the Heavenly Dragon used a similar method to prevent Xiao Feng, but it is a pity that his formation is not dense enough, and his position is too close to the battle line, and he guards against Xiao Feng alone, but he doesn't know that he also has two strong brothers, so he was still broken through.
3. Jianghu organization
The Jianghu organizations involved in the Condor Shooting mainly include: sects, gangs, sects, green forests, families, and small groups like the Seven Monsters of Jiangnan.
(1)。 Sects
The sect is organized entirely through the relationship between teachers and students, and the main purpose is the inheritance of martial arts. Generally speaking, the number of people in the sect is generally small, but the threshold for joining is high (usually requires certain qualifications), and it is more focused on martial arts, so the proportion of masters is higher, a bit like the characteristics of higher schools. The more famous sects in the Condor are: Peach Blossom Island, Changbai Sect (Liang Ziweng Sect), Hengshan Sect (the one that was defeated by the Iron Palm Gang), and Xianxia Sect. The Shaolin school is barely mentioned in this book, which seems rather strange.
In most sects, there are many kinds of martial arts for disciples to learn, and the level is relatively complete from basic skills to stunts, the level of students is relatively high, and the master generally teaches more attentively. Therefore, for a somewhat famous sect, the skill of its adult disciples should be estimated to be above level 4 (those who can't practice level 4 can only stand aside), while the members of the sect who open the door and accept disciples such as the head of the sect should generally have the skill of level 5 or above, otherwise it will be difficult to make a name for themselves in the rivers and lakes, and it will not be able to achieve the fundamental purpose of their martial arts inheritance. By the way, the "famous heroes" and "famous people" mentioned in this book, I think, must be at least level 5.
In that kind of systematic famous sect, the martial arts created by the members are not his private goods, but belong to the entire sect, which are recorded through classics and accumulated from generation to generation. When accepting disciples, the requirements are generally higher, and those who have higher qualifications, character and other conditions can become disciples. Such a sect is generally more powerful, but it is basically not mentioned in this book.
Generally speaking, the people in the sect are a relatively high-ranking group of people in the rivers and lakes, and they tend to fight alone. I think the reason for this is mainly due to their pursuit of martial arts.
(2)。 tong
Gangs are interest groups, and different interests also give rise to different types of gangs, such as hierarchical (beggar gang), regional type (Huaiyang Gang, Tiezhang Gang), and bandit type (Yellow River Gang). Generally speaking, the threshold for joining a gang is low, and ordinary gangs can probably join as long as they are strong and dare to fight. However, if you join the club, you may not be able to get the teaching of martial arts, even if you teach it, it is generally a very basic martial arts, after all, the master needs to be taught according to his aptitude to practice, not mass-produced. There may be only a few gang members who will be accepted as disciples by the masters of the gang, and eventually become the backbone members.
Therefore, the level of gang members is extremely uneven, the gang leader and a few backbones may have level 4 or above, and ordinary congregations may also be level 2, or even level 1. So it's not surprising that a hundred and ten people like the Huaiyang Gang were defeated by the Jiangnan Seven Monsters.
Normally, because the purpose is profit, people in gangs tend to use group beatings when they fight with others, even if it is a more decent gang such as beggars. Of course, if you grow up in a sect, even after joining the gang, most of them will still retain the true colors of some people in the sect.
(3)。 sect
Sects are organized according to the needs of religious beliefs. Usually, the threshold for joining a sect is not very high, and it may be relatively close to a gang. The more famous sects in this book include Quanzhenjiao, Mingjiao, etc., but the description of Quanzhenjiao in this book seems to be more like a sect than a typical sect, and the typical sect seems to be closer to the gang, but with more ideological pursuits than the gang.
(4)。 Greenwood
The Greenwood organization is basically similar to gangsters, but more specialized than them: they exist for robbery. In many cases, joining the Green Forest organization has a requirement similar to "casting a name", that is, there must be a case on the body. The more famous typical green forest organizations in this book are: Taihu Lake Qunhao, a cottage headed by Peng Lianhu.
Except for a few lone thieves, the people in the green forest are basically beaten in groups. Unlike other Jianghu organizations, their opponents are often not other Jianghu organizations, but people outside the martial arts. Therefore, the head of this kind of organization generally does not need too high martial arts, like Lu Guanying, who has only become the chief scoop of the Taihu Qunhao at level 5, and the owners of each village are at most level 4, and the ordinary members are estimated to be level 1 to 2.
(5)。 clan
Of course, the family is mainly formed by kinship, and its main purpose is also for the inheritance of bloodline, but the family in the martial arts also has the role of martial arts inheritance. Sometimes, for various reasons, the family will become very much like a sect (for example, the Dali Duan clan became a sect in the generation of Yideng). Typical families include: Dali Duan's family, White Camel Villa.
Generally speaking, the descendants of the family will be taught the superior martial arts in the family, and the proportion of masters is higher, and the status of the descendants of the collateral is only higher than that of the servants, and they can only learn some more basic martial arts, and there are few masters. The case is even more pronounced in a single-lineage family like the White Camel Villa: only one person can become a true heir, and everyone else will become mediocre.
The inheritance model of the family should be said to be a relatively backward model compared with the sect, just like the clan system is compared with the selection system. The family mentioned in the Condor Shooting, the Duan clan was transformed into a sect, and the White Camel Villa eventually disappeared from the martial arts.
(6)。 Small groups
Small groups like the Jiangnan Seven Monsters are also a very common organization in the rivers and lakes. This kind of small group is generally composed of friends or brothers who have a similar temperament or similar hobbies, and have a relatively close relationship. In addition to the Seven Monsters of Jiangnan, Xiang Yang Tiexin and Guo Xiaotian basically have this relationship.
Martial arts people in the government
The martial arts people in the government are a special group. Because the code of conduct of martial arts people, or moral standards, is the righteousness of the rivers and lakes, and its center is the word "righteousness"; And the people in the government should be loyal to the monarch and patriotism, and the center is the word "loyalty". For a martial artist in an official palace, these two will form a contradiction, and often loyalty and righteousness cannot be both. In this book, this contradiction is not particularly prominent, but it can be seen very clearly in some of Jin Yong's other works.
Under normal circumstances, a master above level 6 will not become an official. Among the masters above level 6 mentioned in the Condor Archery, there are only the following people in the official mansion (or former in the official mansion): Guo Jing, Huang Shang, Yideng and their four disciples, each of whom has a special reason.
Although Sha Tongtian, Liang Ziweng and other cadres worked for Wanyan Honglie, they did not hold official positions, nor did they listen to Wanyan Honglie's orders, but were hired by Wanyan Honglie with heavy gold gifts, and treated each other as guests, similar to guest qing, worship and other identities. It is the four ghosts of the Yellow River, who seem to have become the guards of Wanyan Honglie, but a few of them are only level 4. Ouyang Feng and Wan Yan Honglie were already completely using each other, not only did they not accept the command at all, but they couldn't even beg for it.
That Shi Yanming, who had killed Qu Lingfeng, was the first to catch up with Qu Lingfeng when he was injured, and the second palm power could break his ribs, and most of them had a skill of about level 5. This level is generally the highest-level master in the government.
I think the reason is probably mainly due to two aspects: on the one hand, people who concentrate on martial arts practice will have a higher chance of becoming a master, and this kind of person is usually not too interested in being an official; On the other hand, a master who has reached the level of 6 is either a grandmaster in the rivers and lakes, or he can dominate one side, and he has the general power of princes, but he is not constrained by princes, which is much more comfortable than officialdom.
4. Analysis of various skills
(1)。 Skills
It should be said that internal strength is not necessary for practicing martial arts, but to become a master, it is difficult not to practice internal strength. There are great differences between the various sects in terms of internal strength cultivation, some are from the inside out, some are from the outside in, and some even pure foreign schools do not practice internal strength at all. Guo Jing's practice was always slow after he entered the Seven Monsters Sect in Jiangnan, and he immediately changed his outlook after practicing Quanzhen Internal Strength, probably because he was more suitable for this kind of inside-out cultivation method.
Although the practice methods of different sects vary greatly, in general, if you want to improve after practicing to level 4, you must start practicing internal strength. As for the pure foreign sect, it is usually the end of the practice to level 5.
(2)。 Point acupoints, solve acupoints, flush acupoints, and turn acupoints
Although it is not necessary to practice martial arts, the vast majority of masters are somewhat proficient, especially the masters of the inner family, if they do not know how to point points, it can be regarded as a very serious defect. Since internal power is the foundation of the acupoints, only after the internal power has a certain foundation can you start learning, and generally the inner masters above level 4 can learn the acupoints.
It seems that the acupuncture point is simpler, because you can basically learn it as long as you can massage without internal strength. Of course, with advanced internal skills as the foundation, solving acupoints can be fast and simple.
The difficulty of punching the acupoints should be above the point points, and it is even more difficult to transfer the acupoints. There is no relevant description in this book, but judging from the overall feeling of Jin Yong's novel, the acupuncture point should be at least level 5 or above by an internal master, and the transfer of acupuncture points should be at least level 6.
(3)。 Light work
Light work is also an important skill. Light skills can improve running speed, improve the flexibility of moving and dodging, and can go up and down after practicing to a certain level.
When encountering a strong enemy, you can at least escape if you have good skills; In the face of opponents of equal strength, the side with good light merit is usually not easy to suffer losses. There is a certain dependence between light work and internal power, but it is not entirely incremental, especially at close range.
Basically, as long as you start practicing, light gong will bring benefits to people. But if you want to jump over the wall in the upper room, you should have at least level 4 light skills; If you want to achieve continuous vertical improvement, it should be higher, about level 5; To achieve the realm of flying eaves and walking on the wall (gecko swimming on the wall, etc.), I am afraid that it will not work without level 6 light skills.
(4)。 weapons
There is a saying in martial arts: 100 days to practice the sword, 1000 days to practice the gun, 10,000 days to practice the sword, and this sentence is also said in the eagle shooting. Since the gun is mainly a battlefield weapon rather than a Jianghu weapon, we mainly analyze knives and swords: from the weapons that people at different levels in the Condor are good at using, it can be basically seen that there are many masters above level 6 who are good at using swords, and there are many good hands at level 4 to 5, and the weapons used are more miscellaneous, and the comparison between those who use knives and swords is roughly the same, and most of the weapons used below level 3 are knives.
Therefore, the 5 competitions on Mount Hua are called on swords, because swords are for masters. By the way: the use of "theory" instead of "comparison" shows that it is not only a competition of martial arts, but also a theoretical discussion, these two words are really strong, and it highlights that the participants are all masters of the masters, and only they are qualified to "discuss the sword".
In addition, among the masters, there are obviously more empty hand martial arts (such as fists, palms, fingerings, legs, etc.) that are good at fists and feet than low-handed, which is of course because the fists and feet of the masters are lethal.
5. How do you become a master?
The reason why I want to write this is because I saw that there is such a saying: most of the Jianghu organizations, including the beggar gang, are not as good as the generation from generation to generation, and their martial arts are getting weaker and weaker.
At first glance, it seems to be the case, in the early stage of the Condor shooting, Hong Qigong was the helper, level 8, and in the later stage, it was Huang Rong, level 7, and in the Condor it was Lu Youjiao, Yeluqi, level 6...
But that's why this kind of result happens, and I think the question is: how do you become a master? In my opinion, the following conditions are required to make a master:
(1)。 Aptitude and physique: Some people are suitable for practicing martial arts, some people are not, and more importantly, different people are suitable for practicing different kung fu. Guo Jing's condition to practice the Eighteen Palms of the Dragon Descending is okay, let him practice the Falling Ying Sword Palm to try? He may not be able to learn the dog-beating stick method.
(2)。 Personality and temperament: Different personalities and temperaments will also be suitable for different martial arts, and even some people's temperaments determine that it is impossible for him to become a master. It's not that Huang Rong can't learn to split empty palms, but she just throws it down and doesn't practice it because she is bored, and she can practice those tricks and complicated kung fu.
(3)。 Master-apprentice fate: With the talent and physique suitable for practicing martial arts and the matching personality and temperament, the martial arts that are suitable for practice, or the martial arts that can be achieved, also have a certain range, and the more promising the martial arts, the narrower the range. Then, if this person can worship a master who meets this range and has a certain level (at least level 6), become his disciple, and receive the master's dedicated teaching, then he will have the basis for becoming a master.
If the first three conditions are met, basically becoming a level 6 master is no longer a dream, but can be achieved through one's own efforts. Even if his own conditions match the martial arts taught by his master to a high degree, he may still be out of the blue.
But in fact, it is not so easy to worship the right master, like Guo Jing worshiped under the Jiangnan Seven Monsters at the beginning, it is actually the master who is not suitable, if there is no Ma Yu to pass on his true internal skills, even if he is diligent, at most he will practice a level 5. And after having Quanzhen Internal Strength, if he didn't learn the Dragon Palm, he would have practiced a level 6 at most...
(4)。 Adventures: There are two main types of adventures, one is additional guidance or martial arts secrets, and the other is to get treasures.
The first is mainly to supplement Master's deficiencies. Because a master, or even a sect, is good at martial arts after all, it is very rare to be able to completely match the conditions of the disciple. Moreover, the stones of other mountains can attack jade, whether it is a new theory or a strange method, sometimes it can play a role like a medicine primer.
This is also the reason why a master of the level of the Five Absolute can still gain and improve after reading the Nine Yin True Scripture that is only 1 level higher than himself at most.
The second type of effect is to greatly improve the skill. Whether it is thousand-year-old ginseng, strange snake gall, or the Northern Spiritual Skill, the power transfer, it is all this kind of thing, including the cold jade bed, the Qiankun bag can actually be counted. Basically, this kind of thing can enable the protagonist to have an internal force that others can't match for decades when he is young. There is basically no such thing in this book, except for the pit viper.
Generally speaking, many authors who write martial arts novels will always use this kind of thing to steal corners, but it always makes people feel that it is not convincing enough. Jin Daxia's works make people feel much more reasonable, for example, they eat a lot of snake gall bladder and use high-intensity training to stimulate, and the Northern Shengong is to get start-up funds by being beaten after a period of weakness and no internal strength. And the pit viper in this book basically did not significantly improve Guo Jing's skill quickly, except for enhancing his anti-poison ability, it only faintly gave people a feeling that Guo Jing had slowly digested the medicinal power of the snake in the process of cultivating the eighteen palms of the dragon descending.
(5)。 Luck: The main thing is that you can't die :) The second is that it's best not to be crippled :) Also, it's a kind of luck to meet the right opponent at the right time.
Guo Jing's opponent in the first actual combat is very suitable, and his actual martial arts level is slightly lower than him, but he has more experience than him. The opponent is too low, Guo Jing can't get real experience, and if it's too high, Guo Jing can't get experience if he is knocked down three or two times, and he will lose confidence.
After learning the dragon palm, Guo Jing has met opponents who are more suitable, whether it is Liang Ziweng, Mei Chaofeng, or Ouyang Ke, all let Guo Jing practice the power of a dragon palm.
And so on and so forth...
From the analysis of the previous 5 conditions, it can be seen that basically only by meeting all 5 conditions can it be possible to achieve a level 8 master, and the typical example in this book is of course Guo Jing (although he has not reached level 8 at the end of this book, but it is already predictable). If only some of these conditions are met, then it can only be met to be particularly sufficient to produce a level 8 master, and the typical example in this book is Qiu Qianren, who is out of the blue.
The more a top master, the farther away his disciples will be from him, because a top master is not all the conditions for cultivating a top disciple.
Therefore, it is not that those sects and gangs are inferior to the next generation, but that those who have appeared at the top of the world, super first-class masters are too difficult to create, and they are originally an accidental phenomenon.
