Chapter 168: The Geographical Situation of Changbai Mountain
The lava material from the eruption piled up around the crater again and again, and slowly turned into sixteen peaks standing around, seven of which are in North Korea and nine in China. Pen | fun | pavilion www. biquge。 info
Tianchi is shaped like a lotus leaf that first deems the surface of the water, it is generally oval, the altitude is 2,194 meters, it is about five kilometers long from north to south, three kilometers wide from east to west, the area is 9.82 square kilometers, the circumference is 13.1 kilometers, the water is very deep, the average depth is more than 200 meters, the deepest is about 400 meters, although it is surrounded by the peaks, it is the highest, deepest, and largest crater lake in our country.
Tianchi hangs alone in the sky, there is no water inlet, only the water outlet, the legend is that there is a "golden dragon" hidden in the pool, so the lake water can flow out all year round is never exhausted, and the long-flowing Tianchi water is the ambergris spit out by the golden dragon, therefore, the Tianchi is also called Longtan, and the Tianchi water is enshrined as holy water.
The modern book "Changbai Mountain Travel Guide" records that Tianchi was originally a treasure mirror of Tai Bai Xing, the Queen Mother of the West has two daughters with flowers and moon appearances, and no one can distinguish who is more beautiful between the two sisters, at a peach event, Tai Bai Xing took out the treasure mirror and said, as long as you use it to take a photo, you can see who is more beautiful, the little daughter took the mirror first, and then handed it to her sister shyly, and her sister looked left and right at the mirror, and the more she looked, the more she felt that she was beautiful, at this time, the treasure mirror spoke: "I think, or my sister is more beautiful." In a fit of anger, my sister immediately threw the treasure mirror off Yaochi and fell into the world and became Tianchi......
There is also a legend that there is a fire demon in Changbai Mountain who breathes fire and spits smoke, which makes the grass and trees in the whole mountain scorch, and the flames cover the sun all day long, and the people are miserable. A girl named Azalea went into her belly with ice cubes in her arms in order to subdue the evil fire demons, and extinguished the raging fire with ice cubes, and when the fire was extinguished, the top of the mountain became a lake.
I scoff at these legends, because they were invented by later generations to add to the beauty and mystery of Tianchi.
What really interests me are these two ancient books, "Chronicles of Changbai Mountain" and "Chronicles of Fusong County".
Both books record the same event, and although they are described in their own books, they share the same gist of the idea of a group of tourists from Beijing, China, sitting on the ground and picnicking at noon in August 1976 on the edge of the deep blue Tianchi under the towering astronomical peaks of the Changbai Mountains. Suddenly, a girl let out a shrill exclamation: "Look, water monster! Everyone looked back in astonishment, only to see a dark coat, back like a shuttle, head like a snake, mouth like a duck, white belly, eyes like chestnuts, like a brown bear like a hideous water monster is lying behind a craggy strange stone by the Tianchi, eyes burning to the crowd close by, it heard the scream, frightened Huo Ran jumped up, plopped, jumped into the water, calm and waveless Tianchi suddenly rippled, and the water monster swam like flying and disappeared in an instant.
In addition to the water monster, there is another incident that caught my attention, the book also says that during the Qing Dynasty, Changbai Mountain was once regarded as the land of Longxing by the Qing Dynasty and was banned for hundreds of years, and within a hundred miles, no one could be approached.
To be honest, when I read this account, I didn't have any special thoughts in my heart, I just read it as a story, but coincidentally, I found evidence for this story by chance.
In the middle of these two books, there is also a Qing history "Donghua Lu", the color of this book is very new, close to smell a faint ink fragrance, when I opened it, but found that it was a handcopy, however, the handwriting inside the handwriting is neat, there are rules and regulations, between the lines can reveal a simple and natural atmosphere, it can be seen that the person who copied the book should have put some effort.
What the book says is that in ancient times, the heavenly river in the sky was connected with the heavenly pool of Changbai Mountain, and the goddess Buddha Kulun and her sisters often swam from the heavenly river to the heavenly pool to play and play, and the water in the heavenly pool felt that the water in the heavenly pool was more beautiful than that in the heavenly river, in order to make the Tianchi of Changbai Mountain become like the heavenly Yao Pond, the wise Buddha Kulun had to secretly bring some fairy flowers and fairy grass every time he went to the heavenly pool to swim.
Slowly, the Tianchi was surrounded by all kinds of flowers, and soon became a fairyland on earth, but the Tianchi only had flowers but no fruits, which really became a big regret for the beautiful Tianchi.
In order to make Tianchi flawless, she asked her sisters to pick all kinds of fairy fruits from the orchard, swim and eat them in the Tianhe, and let the fish in the Tianhe secretly swallow the kernels that the fairies spit into the Tianhe, and then swim to the Tianchi and spit out.
Hundreds of years later, the fairy Buddha Kulun came to bathe in the Tianchi again, at this time, the Tianchi was already full of all kinds of tempting wild fruits, she couldn't help but pick a purple-red fruit and swallowed it, who knew that soon after, a boy was born by the Tianchi, this boy was the later Qing Dynasty founding emperor Aixinjue Luo Nurhachi.
At the end of the manuscript, someone wrote a line crookedly, "I originated in the area of Changbai Mountain in my ancestors......" The words were interrupted here, but I guess there should be some later, but the person who copied the book did not finish copying.
I also found the same record of this legend in the "Antu County Chronicle", and there is a sentence in the county chronicle that I remember very deeply: "Antu is the former site of the Jurchens".
From these two books, I can almost conclude that the former closure may be true.
"If you have money, you come here." Lin Zi suddenly shouted in a low voice.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I walked.
"You'll know if you come and see." Lin Zi beckoned me to pass.
I went to the bookshelf in front of him, and he pointed to a book on the shelf and said, "Look at this book, it's wrong." ”
I looked forward along the serial number on the shelf, and found that it was indeed as Lin Zi said, that the book had indeed been misplaced, or more precisely, that it had been misplaced.
Because the library is relatively small, in order to facilitate the reading of teachers, students and tourists, the library still adopts the order of classification and numbering for the management of books, they file the books into the shelves, and then put the numbered labels under the spine of the books, so that it is easy to view and review.
When they recorded books, they only memorized the capital letters of the first word of the title and the code on the spine, and because some books were manuscripts and solitary copies, they never borrowed them.
The code of the book in front of Lin Zi obviously did not match the bookshelf, between twenty-three and twenty-four, there was a fifty-one, and its order of height and height was obviously very different from the book next to it. (To be continued.) )
