Approximate classification of space battleships

In modern space warfare, the fleet is an important factor that can influence the victory of the war, and the warships are mainly classified as follows:

Mothership: Load a large number of space mechs. It is mainly responsible for putting space mechs into the battlefield in large numbers and quickly. The disadvantages are that it is slow, not easy to change direction, and lacks protective force.

Strategic Ships: Equipped with large-caliber main guns. It is mainly responsible for long-range strikes on the enemy's main targets. The disadvantages are that the speed is average, it is not easy to change direction, the protective force is weak, and it consumes too much energy.

Tactical Ship: It can carry a very small number of space mechs, which is fast and changes direction, and is suitable for rapid support. The disadvantages are the short range and the lack of strike force.

Frigate: It has small and medium-caliber main guns and a large number of secondary guns, with strong protection force, and is mainly responsible for the defense of mother ships and strategic ships. The disadvantages are slow speed and poor maneuverability.

Fireship: Average performance in all aspects, can carry 2~5 space mechas, is the basic type of troops on the space battlefield.

Functional ships: There are many specific classifications, including engineering ships, maintenance ships, reconnaissance ships, minelaying ships, rescue ships, etc., which are very weak in firepower, but they are also an indispensable part of space warfare.
