Chapter 69: Baron Straker's Plan
"Long live the hydra!" The soldiers saluted Baron Straker.
Baron Straker raised his hand and the surrounding soldiers dispersed, and Bronsky noticed that the soldiers here all had a common feature in their tattoos, a skull on their arms. "How's it going, Bronsky?" Baron Straker wanted Bronsky to give his thoughts.
"I felt amazing, I would never have imagined that Hydra had such a wide sphere of influence." Bronski was a little excited, and he felt like he had made a good decision to join Hydra. "And that's just the tip of the iceberg, and there's so much more to Hydra." Baron Straker pushed his monocle with a smug tone.
"I've been to this barracks before, but I didn't expect it to be a hydra." Bronski looked at the U.S. Army training in the camp and was amazed. "S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated by us, do you think it will be difficult for the Army?" Baron Straker laughed out loud, he didn't take the Army seriously, for him, the organizational structure of the Army has too many opportunities to be infiltrated, it's just a plug, conscription doesn't make you go through several polygraphs, it won't go through several tests, and it's easy to do something about it.
"In a moment, you take these troops and wait for the order of General Ross." Baron Straker said to Bronsky.
Bronski asked with a curious look, "General Ross has given the order to stop the recent arrest plan, what are you going to do?" "He doesn't think General Ross is at the mercy of anyone, he's a veteran." That's a good question, remember the soldier who showed you the way before? Baron Straker turned back to Blankis. Remember. Bronski nodded. He's very good at persuasion. Baron Straker smiled strangely.
General Ross was in his own office, cigar in his mouth, steaming coffee in hand, he sat there, information about Bruce Banner in his hand, looking at it over and over again, he pondered Banner's habits, his way of life, trying to provide a little reference for future arrests.
"Knock, knock, knock." There was a knock on the office door.
"Come in." General Ross didn't look up either, his eyes still fixed on the file on Bruce Banner.
"General." The man who came in saluted General Ross.
"Sit down, would you like some coffee?" General Ross gestured to the coffee pot that was set aside.
The soldier sitting across from General Ross smiled and said, "No need, General. I'm here to ask a question. General Ross looked up and met the man's eyes, which were dark blue, like the deep sea, and General Ross's spirit was instantly engulfed.
"General, why don't we go after Banner?"
"The Supreme Council of Security has given an order that we can't hunt down Banner these days." General Ross was blinded, and now he was like a marionette, answering whatever others asked.
"General, Banner is hiding in New York, are we just giving up? I missed this opportunity, and I don't know when the next one will be! โ
"I want to, too, but it's an order from the Supreme Security Council, and I can't refuse."
"General, have you ever wondered if the order could have another meaning, if we don't go after Banner? Shall we bring him back for research? What he has in his possession is forbidden for the state to leak, and we just invite him over and study it carefully, so that we will not be disobeying orders. His eyes, as deep as the sea, glowed a little, making General Rose's expression even more numb.
"You seem to have some truth in what you say, and that's kind of a statement." General Ross nodded stiffly, his words had become stumbling by this time.
"General, give the order, as long as we are fast enough and don't cause any impact on New York, we won't be harmed." The man stood up and looked at General Ross condescendingly, his eyes wide, as if something power had come out of his eyes and into General Ross's mind.
General Ross hung his head and snored, and the man took out his mobile phone, dialed a number, and when the other party answered, he spoke: "The task is complete, I have installed your orders, and given orders in his head, Lord Baron." โ
Bronski looked at Baron Straker curiously, he wanted to know who was talking to him, and the voice seemed to be the soldier he had seen before. "What is his mission? What orders were given? Bronski was curious.
"Okay, I'll ask the soldiers to send you back, and I guess when you return to General Rus, the order to capture will be issued."
"Sir, please come here." A soldier said to Bronsky.
Bronski glanced at the soldier and said, "Lead the way." He noticed that the soldier's tattoos seemed to be a little more detailed than those of the soldiers around him, and the skeletons were smaller. Is this a difference in rank? Bronski thought to himself.
Princess Nissa played with the half of the gold coin that Big Maquinos had given her, and she slid her fingers over the edges, sharp and angular. "It's a slash from the sword, and it looks like the other half of this gold coin should be in the area of our ally." She reversed the coin, and there was a skull on it, with a Nazi eagle mark on it, and tentacles underneath the skull, which made it seem as if it had grown out of a skull. "This seems to have been seen somewhere."
Princess Nissa searched her mind for clues about the gold coins, her fingers unconsciously rubbing the gold coins, and suddenly she stopped. "There are words." Princess Nissa was startled, staring at the small print beneath the gold coin for a few seconds. "It's German, hooray." Princess Nissa thought. "Nazi eagles, skeletons with tentacles, long live." Princess Nissa thought in her mind that the current information had come together. "Hydra!" Princess Nissa almost screamed. "Why didn't my father tell me that we were working with Hydra?" Princess Nissa was surprised, she thought that it was very unlikely that Hydra and the Great Maquinos family would cooperate, both were for the sake of kingship, one was a human and the other was a vampire, and it seemed that one would succeed and the other would fail. "Be careful with this mission." Princess Nissa thought to herself. "Be vigilant, we're going to New York!" Princess Nissa said to the Blood Fangs in the cabin. "Yes!" It was like a muffled thunder exploding in the cabin, and all the blood fangs proved their faith with their own voices.
General Ross lay on his seat, and he was still asleep until a few moments later, when there was another knock on the door of his office, and General Ross looked up instantly, and there was no trace of tiredness in his eyes, as if he had not fallen asleep before. "Please come in."
Blanquis entered, standing in front of General Ross, and whispered, "Long live the Hydra!" โ
General Rose's eyes were confused for a moment, and then they became normal again. He raised his hand and said, "Long live the hydra." โ
"It's amazing, General Ross has become like this." Bronski thought to himself. "General, please give the order, I'm ready."
General Ross picked up the phone and, as usual, gave the order short and forcefully. "Attention units, prepare now, we will be on our way in thirty minutes, our target is Dr. Bruce Banner, we are going to invite him to join the experiment, because the value of the target is too high, we can use force if necessary. This is General Ross, end of call. General Ross hung up, he looked up at Bronski and said, "Is the third round ready?" โ
"I'm ready, General." After Bronski finished speaking, he habitually gave a military salute.
"Okay, you take the assault team in a while, we have to give him a thunderous blow, so that he has no time to react, and don't give him a chance to escape, if my daughter is present, knock her unconscious."
"Yes, General!" Bronski stood up in salute, a sinister smile on his lips.
Dr. Stern wiped the beads of sweat from his face, then handed it to Betty, motioning for her to wipe it for Banner. Betty wiped the sweat from Banner's face and kissed him lightly on the forehead, causing Dr. Stern to turn his head around. He thought to himself, "I seem to understand why he must make himself completely untransformable." โ
"Alright, we're going to move on to the next step." Dr. Stern looked at the data displayed on each screen, and the data was within the expected range, and Dr. Stern planned to take the next step, which was also the most critical step. "Banner, are you ready? Be prepared to blink your left eye, blink your right eye a little later. โ
Banner blinked his left eye to signal that he was ready, and he grinned as he tried to make a smile to comfort Betty beside him. Betty became relieved to see Banner's smile, she shook Banner's hand and said, "I believe in you, Bruce." โ
"Alright, let's get started." Dr. Stern said, as if he couldn't stand the man and woman in front of him. He pressed the switch hard, and the liquid that had been mixed entered with Banner's vein, this time it was all the potion, and Banner bit the wooden plug that had been prepared in pain, his teeth deeply embedded in it.
The drug worked, but it stimulated Banner's body to react, and his body began to grow larger and greener, and the sound of bones rubbing against each other creaked and the whole room could hear it clearly. The swollen muscles snapped through the straps on his body, and his enlarged body crushed the seat, causing Dr. Stern to sit on the floor.
Betty noticed that Banner's eyes were starting to turn green, she knew it was bad, she rode on Banner's body, held his head, and called affectionately: "Bruce, I'm Betty, I believe in you, you will be able to hold on, Bruce!" She turned her head and shouted to Dr. Stern, who was sitting on the ground, "Do something!" โ
"We can only inject the potion as fast as we can now!"
"Then do it!"
Dr. Stern turned the button, and the downward speed of the drug instantly accelerated, and Banner, who was getting bigger, stopped getting bigger, first his emerald eyes turned back to blue, and his height began to shrink, after a struggle of distance. Banner's voice came from inside the room: "Betty? โ
