Chapter 47: Accidents

Peter Parker rang the doorbell, and when it rang, the door opened, and Kurt Connors' eyes were a little surprised.

"Dr. Connors." Peter Parker said, and then he smiled, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere. "You don't remember me, me, me."

"You were the intern that day." Kurt Connors's tone is gentle, full of patience and appreciation.

Parker nodded, fearing that Dr. Connors would forget, and quickly admitted. "Yes, it's me, it's me." Parker was glad he was still remembered.

"I've decided you're excellent, but this is my home, and I want you to make an appointment at the office." Dr. Connors was going to close the door, and while he admired Parker, that didn't mean he would be there to settle his questions at any time.

Parker gritted his teeth, frowned, and said something that made Dr. Connors change his mind: "I'm Richard Parker's son."

Dr. Connors listened to him, and he stopped closing the door and stared at Parker's face several times. Then he said in an inexplicable tone: "Peter? โ€

Dr. Connors brewed his coffee and poured himself and Parker a full glass. "I'm afraid I won't be able to help you much, Peter." He paused. "I have no idea why they left, let alone where they went." He said to Parker seriously. Then he turned around and tried to put the coffee pot aside, but he didn't think about it and touched the cup to the ground.

Peter Parker looked at the falling cup, he instantly stretched out his hand and grabbed the cup tightly, and the coffee in it did not spill a little, the speed was staggering.

"Great reflexes." Dr. Connors praised.

"Thanks for the compliment." Parker said, handing the cup to Dr. Connors.

"Thank you." Dr. Connors said.

"I read your book, well, it's very well written." Parker nodded as he spoke.

Dr. Connors looked at Parker's delighted eyes, and then he heard Parker's question. "Do you really think it's possible? Cross-species genetics. โ€

"Of course." Dr. Connors replied. "The outside world is laughing at the theories that your father and I have developed, not only the masses at large, but also the Osborne Group. They call us mad scientists. Then your father breeds spiders, and everything changes, and the result is unexpected, nothing short of amazing. Dr. Connors' eyes were full of memory and pride, and then he bowed his head slightly, and continued, "We could have changed the fate of countless people, including mine." He raised his arm. And then it was over, and he went, taking his research with him. And I know. Without him, I" Parker noticed that Dr. Connors's eyes were getting a little moist and his expression was getting a little depressed. He pursed his lips and continued, "Iโ€”I'm angry that I'm so far away from you, and your family. I'm really sorry for that."

Peter Parker's face was a little weird, and he only dared to complain silently in his heart: "This makes me say what's good, is this a movie, where does so much bitterness come from." I just wanted to ask a question, not to hear about your past with my father, or to hear your explanation. โ€

Suddenly, the atmosphere became awkward again, Peter Parker blinked, pursed his lips, and said, "If, if this works, and you succeed, how many alien species will humans inherit?" What are the side effects? Parker asked about the purpose of his trip, which was his biggest concern at the moment.

Dr. Connors looked thoughtful, "It's hard to say, it's hard to say because no test has survived, and the problem is always there."

Parker was shocked when he heard this, and picked up Dr. Connors's words, and he opened his mouth to say, "Decay rate algorithm? โ€

"Yes." Dr. Connors looked appreciative again.

"Okay, can I," Parker gestured to the pen and paper on the table.

"Of course."

Parker looked down and wrote in his notebook, and Dr. Connors took two steps forward, a look of curiosity and nostalgia on his face. Parker placed the notebook in front of Dr. Connors, who put down his coffee and looked at the formula carefully.

"Peerless!" His tone was full of surprise. He looked up at Parker. "How did you come up with that?" He asked.

Parker grinned and tapped his head with a pen.

"Peter, will you come to the building after school and meet me?"

"Okay."

"Thank you." Dr. Connors said, then he picked up his notebook.

Fort Johnson, Florida Marshland.

Bronski excitedly punched and punched, sweat on his forehead, and five broken sandbags were placed on the ground around him. The more he fights, the more excited he gets, his body doesn't get tired at all, and every punch is a treat for him. "Wait, big green guy!" He was so angry in his heart that he took the sandbag as his enemy, and with a punch, and with a bang, the sandbag was punched.

"Looks like you're ready."

"General!" Bronski turned around and saluted, "I'm ready for the second round." โ€

Peter Parker's day has been filled with joy, first teaching Fleischer and then receiving Gwen's invitation, which Peter Parker felt was the best day of his school career. In the evening, he met with Dr. Connors, completed the experiment, and had dinner with him, which Parker felt very honored, and Parker had eaten much less than before, compared to the amount of food he had eaten after his body had changed.

Parker declined Dr. Connors' offer to give him a ride, and by the time he got home, it was too late. Parker saw Uncle Ben sitting in the doorway.

"Hey, Uncle Ben, why are you sitting here so late." Parker looked at Uncle Ben, who was pale, and he hadn't realized he had forgotten anything.

"I'm not sitting here because of you! Go in and apologize to May. Uncle Ben's voice was not loud, but it was full of meaning that could not be refused.

Parker, who was holding the skateboard, was stunned, and he remembered his promise to pick up Aunt May home at nine o'clock. Feeling ashamed, he said, "I'm sorry. โ€

"Don't talk to me, apologize to May." Uncle Ben got up and went into the house, and Parker followed.

As soon as Uncle Ben entered the house, he said, "May, Peter has come to apologize to you." โ€

Aunt May stood in the dining room, looking at Parker gently, and she said, "It's okay, Peter is now older and has his own affairs, and the security is much better now than before." I'm afraid that the Daredevil or something that is circulating is real. โ€

"May, he's going to apologize." Uncle Ben pulled down Parker's sleeve.

"I'm sorry, Aunt May." Parker lowered his head and said to Aunt May.

"It's okay, Peter, it's so late, it's good for you to come back." Aunt May was still concerned about Parker's late return, and she wasn't angry with him at all.

"Peter, you're just like your father," Uncle Ben began to lecture Parker, who was worried about Parker and afraid that he would be bad at school.

"Enough!" Parker called. His good mood for the day was ruined, and he wanted to share today's harvest with them. "What about my father? Where is he?! My father, where is he?! Parker turned, ignoring Uncle Ben calling him from behind, and slammed the door to leave.

Peter Parker was hiding in the shadows, on the lamppost of the traffic light, he ignored Uncle Ben's cries, he just wanted to be quiet for a while. After a while, he felt a little hungry and remembered that there was a supermarket around the corner, and he was going to buy something to eat.

"That's $2.07, and you're pretty little bit of money."

"I know, I know." Parker gets change from the cash register and tries to fool him around.

"If you want to take a dime from here, you have to leave ten dollars, that's the rule in the store."

"People always have a difficult time, why is this person so annoying!" Parker thought to himself.

"If you don't buy it, you get out of the way and don't get in the way of the people behind you. Didn't your dad give you the money to buy milk? โ€

Parker was unhappy and glanced at him, his mouth tense, suppressing his anger, he was going to leave here, he couldn't afford to be so angry.

There was a bang, things were scattered on the ground, Parker turned his head, and saw that the person behind him just now grabbed a handful of money from the cash register, and then started to run, he threw the milk over, Parker subconsciously caught it, he walked out of the small store, stood aside and watched the excitement.

"It's none of my business." Without thinking about it, Parker directly refused the cashier's request for help.

Parker stood there, gloating at the cashier. "This guy runs like a duck." Parker laughed inwardly. A gunshot rang out in the silent night sky. Parker turned his head, his face full of shock and incredulity, "No, no, no, Uncle Ben!" Oh God!. Parker turned his head and shouted to passers-by, "Call an ambulance!" Fast! โ€

"Looks like you need help." A cold female voice thought beside Parker.

Parker looked up, and a woman in a dark blue ninja suit stood beside him. "Shinobi, ninja?" Parker said in surprise.

"Blazing-handed ninja, water. Now is not the time to dwell on who I am, I ask you, do you want to save him? โ€

"Yes!" Parker nodded hurriedly.

The water took a small bottle from his bosom and handed it to Peter Parker. "Give him the medicine inside, and apply this to his wound." The water tells Parker how to use the medicine, then pulls out another packet of medicine from his bosom and throws it to Parker.

"Thank you, thank you." Parker Mechanics thanked Parker.

"The ambulance came, I'll go first." Water said.

"How do I contact you? I'll repay you! Parker looked up and shouted into the water that was already standing on the lamppost.

"I'll get back to you." The water waved at Parker, who was holding his student ID.
