Chapter 500: Morgan Le Fay

There are many legends in the world. For most of them, people tend to think that they are myths, from the limited imagination www.biquge.info of people's brains in ancient times. But in fact, there are many documents that are not entirely imaginary, they are true records of history.

It's just that most of the historical evidence about fairies and ghosts has been lost in the long river of history and cannot be confirmed by any evidence, so it is finally recognized as a fictional story, just like many modern works of fiction.

But the truth is, a lot of the legends may be true. Not only that, but they may still be between us, for thousands of years.

Legend has it that many years ago, a great knight under King Arthur fell in love with a witch named Morgan Le Fay, and betrayed King Arthur for the sake of the witch and opened the walls to his enemies. But the witch only took advantage of him, and Morgan Le Fay only wanted to put his son Mordred on the throne and seize his castle, so he immediately betrayed the knight.

The knight was later cursed by the magician Merlin and degenerated into an immortal demon who could only atone for his sins by destroying Morgan Le Fay. This knight is the famous Etregen. But in today's story, there is nothing about this knight.

Years ago, Morgan's plan to put his son on the throne aborted, but their obsession with the throne has not faded for centuries. Morgan uses magic to immortalize himself and casts a spell to keep his son Mordred forever at the age of a child, so that he can stay young when he ascends to the throne.

But to this day, there is never a single document in which Mordred succeeded in becoming king - because he never succeeded.

Most people think that even if these legendary characters had ever existed, they would have been buried long ago. The story about the great magician was nothing more than the boast of the storytellers of the time, but it was not.

Right now, right now.

"Boom!"

A faint ray of light shone into the pitch-black space, faintly reflecting the outlines of some ancient stone statues.

This is a ruin hidden in the middle of the mountains, a cluster of collapsed columns, ancient granite surrounding a once-grand palace thousands of years ago, and a sense of silence in the darkness.

A robed and golden-masked witch leads a lively boy into the gloomy mausoleum, the real Morgan and Mordred.

"I can't take it anymore, Mother." Mordred said impatiently, "When will I have my own castle?" ”

"Soon, Mordred, my dear child." Morgan said, raising a slender palm, and the magic turned into golden light, like a flashlight illuminating the road in front of the palace.

"If the legend is true, today is the time," Morgan said. ”

"What are we here for?" Mordred asked, "I hate this spooky place." You've been saying we're going to make it, and it's been centuries since then, and we're still here, nothing has changed! ”

"Everything has changed, Mordred, except for you." Morgan lifted his feet off the ground and used his magic to levitate himself in the air and float forward, "This is because I want you to be young when you become king." ”

Mordred exclaimed impatiently, "But I want to be king now!" ”

Morgan didn't reply, for they had reached the end of the palace.

Now, towering in front of the two of them, was a huge black statue, sitting cross-legged on the throne, holding something in his hands.

Morgan snorted, "Someone has been here before us, and things aren't here anymore." ”

"Who? Is it Etregen again? ”

"Nope." Morgan shook his head, "If it were him, I could feel his breath." It should be some modern people who accidentally excavated this relic and took what we needed. ”

Mordred said, "Anyway, you haven't answered me yet. What exactly are we looking for here? ”

"Amulet, my dear child." "The world's first magic amulet is the origin of all witchcraft on earth. With it, you have the power to change this reality at will, and there is nothing that your magic can't change. ”

"But now it's lost." Mordred thrust his waist a little angrily, "We ran away for nothing. ”

"Not exactly." Morgan chuckled, "Although it's gone, it's not long since it's gone, and there is still a magical aura unique to the amulet here." I was able to track the aura and locate it roughly where it was. Follow me, my child, and the day is fast for you to reign! ”

With that, she moved her hand and drew a circle in the air, and golden magic ripples spread out, enveloping them and disappearing in place.

Gotham.

A large truck hauling a silver container sped off the highway with the words "Wayne Enterprises" emblazoned on its shell.

The car contained goods that had just arrived from out of town, and were said to be Bruce Wayne's personal belongings. In fact, the transport personnel themselves don't know what is inside, but since it is the boss's thing, then they don't actually need to ask, as long as it is honestly transported to the designated place.

It happened suddenly, and neither the guards in the car nor the driver could react to what was happening.

There were no bomb strikes, no bullets, not even any sign of a flat tire, and the smoothly driven car suddenly flipped overβ€”not on one side, but on the tail in a head-to-back direction, almost physically impossible.

But after all, it still happened, the truck overturned heavily to the ground, and the "boom" stirred up a puff of dust, and a string of violent sparks on the ground.

The two iron doors at the back "clicked" open out of thin air as if they had been subjected to an external force, and Morgan, wearing a golden mask, and Mordred, a boy in a retro costume, slowly floated down.

The guards hurriedly adjusted to their feet, shouting and pointing their guns at the two men. But of course it was in vain, and with a wave of Morgan's hand, several people fell asleep.

Morgan walked to the side of the carriage, where a boxy wooden box was placed in the center, and she could feel the unleashing of powerful and indescribable waves of magic.

"That's it." Morgan smirked, "I can feel ......"

The moment she reached for the box, a black dart burst through the air, exploding in the back of her heart without warning.

The winged knight jumped down abruptly: "Miss, I don't think you should touch that thing." (To be continued.) )
