Chapter 9: Tyri, the Inevitable Fate of Death
Carter didn't want to pay attention to Alex, after what had just happened, he wanted to stay with Tyri more, and he finally knew how important Tyri was to his heart. However, Tyri tugged at him lightly, saying that she wished he could talk to Alex alone.
"Okay, let's go out and talk. I wish I could do it soon, though, Tyri still needs my care. Carter hesitated, then got up and said.
"It won't be too long, and our conversation is about Tyri." Alex said, turning and walking out the door. However, when he went out, he gestured to Liu Dun with his eyes, hoping that she would stay. Tyri is alone in the house, and Alex is not at ease. Because according to the way the first two deaths made death, it seems that they were all accidents, and it would be better for two people to be together.
Lyudon stayed, talking to Tyri, and heeding Alex's previous prompts, paying close attention to every detail. Alex and Carter walked out the door and stopped around a deserted corner.
"Tell me, what's going on?" Carter said a little unconcernedly, in his eyes, Alex wanted to say nothing more than to ask him to thank him, or the two of them to make peace. None of this matters to him now, and he can answer immediately.
"Carter, what I want to say to you, Tyri, is probably not out of danger." Alex said something that surprised Carter, or rathered him a little angry.
"What! Boy, what do you mean, are you cursing Tyri!? Carter's face turned abruptly and he grabbed Alex by the collar and pushed him against the wall. Alex's words stimulated him. Because I don't know when it started, in fact, Carter was already a little afraid of Alex in his heart. No, it's not so much that I'm afraid of Alex, it's that I'm afraid of Alex's weird premonition.
"Carter, calm down! I'm just saying maybe, and I'm not damning. I'm here to stop that! Alex said with some difficulty, looking at Carter with blazing eyes, sincerity and confidence in his eyes.
"Well, let's talk about it, I don't want anything to happen to Tyri again, you know!" Carter shook Alex and put him down.
"I understand, and I don't want to see anyone die anymore." Alex nodded, then continued, "Look at this, here's the death order table I found. Alex said, pulling two pieces of paper out of his pocket and handing them to Carter.
Carter took the paper, repeated comparisons, the expression on his face became worse and worse, and finally there was a slight fear in his eyes. He didn't suspect Alex because he knew that Alex had no reason to do such a prank. Because of this, he was afraid, because he saw himself on it!
"What is this? How could there be such a ridiculous thing? Carter's hands trembled a little, and he looked at Alex, hoping that Alex was joking. He even promised in his heart that even if it was a joke, he would never beat Alex. But he was disappointed, the expression on Alex's face was so serious, there was no hint of joking.
"Carter, it's not the order of death that we're struggling with now, it's Tyri! I saved Tyri this time, but there was no guarantee that she would be in danger a second time. We don't know if he's going to just skip Tyri and kill the next one, or if he's going to keep chasing Tyri! Alex shook Carter, who was a little shocked and frightened, and said his guess out loud.
"You're saying Tyri is still in danger? No, it won't work, I'm going to protect Tyri! Carter said, turning and rushing to Tyri's room.
"Hey! Carter! Alex screamed, but couldn't get Carter to stop. Alex picked up the two pieces of paper that Carter had left on the ground and followed Tyri's hospital room.
As soon as he turned the corner, Alex saw two guys he least wanted to see. Wenner and Ciric, the two of them were blocking the doorway at the moment, asking Carter what he had just run by.
Alex walked a few quick steps and also came to the door of the ward. First he glanced inside through the glass on the door, and was slightly relieved to find that Terri and Lyudun were safe, and then he paid attention to Wenner and Shirek, the two so-called federal agents.
"Mr. Carter, as an eyewitness at the time, please tell me in detail," Ciric asked Carter, who had just retreated, with an anxious look on his face.
"Hey! Alex, we meet again. It's related to you again, is it still a so-called hunch? Wenner walked up to Alex and looked at Alex with a suspicious expression.
"Yes, it's still a hunch, and this time I still saved someone, and there were no accidents." Alex said stiffly, with a bit of-for-tat.
"So, can you tell us about your hunch? I'm curious about why hunches are all on you, and they're all around you. Wenner said, a glint in his eyes.
"Huh! I don't know? Agent Wenner, I'm here to save people, so I'm not going to invite me into you. Alex said, and prepared to open the door and enter the room.
"Of course not, I'm just asking about it routinely." Wenner didn't stop Alex, but watched Alex walk into the hospital room. At the same time, Ciric was almost done asking, and Carter then entered the hospital room.
Outside the room, Wenner and Ciric glanced at each other, and a dark shadow seemed to flash rapidly in their eyes, then smiled strangely and turned away.
In the ward, Alex seemed to sense something, and turned back suddenly, but he didn't find anything, and he couldn't help but be a little surprised.
"Oh my Tyri, it's so nice that you're doing well!" Carter hugged Tyri into his arms, a look of fear still on his face.
"Carter, what's wrong?" Tyri felt that Carter's words were a little inexplicable, and couldn't help but look up and ask.
"It's nothing, Tyri, I just realized that you mean so much to me, and I love you." Carter said affectionately.
"I love you too, Carter." Tyri replied with the same affection, and then said, "Carter, let's get out of here." You see I'm fine, it's boring here. And didn't we say we were going shopping, let's go now. Tyri said, a little coquettish.
Carter hesitated, unsure if that would be a good thing for Tyri, since nothing would happen in the hospital. Carter turned his head to look at Alex who was standing aside, and now he trusted Alex for no reason. Because in the face of death, Alex can lead him to struggle.
"I don't know about this, it's better to stay in the hospital for the time being." Alex had never been seen in such a light, and was a little overwhelmed for a moment, but he still felt safer in the hospital than outside.
"Carter, how did you listen to Alex? It's so boring here, I don't want to stay here. And I want to be distracted, I don't want to let what just happened stay in my mind. Tyri said, a slight look of horror on her face.
Half a night later, at Tyri's strong request, Alex discussed with Carter, and he would never stay by his side, even if he was in danger, he could rescue him in time. Moreover, the shadow in my heart does need to be removed.
Soon after, Alex, Carter, Lyudun, and Terry appeared in the mall near the hospital. Carter kept up with Tyri, a warrior who protected the princess. Alex and Liudun, on the other hand, watched the details around them closely, not wanting any surprises.
"Haha, Carter, do you see this dress is beautiful, I picked it out for a long time!" Outside the mall, after shopping for a long time, when it was almost dark, the four of them finally walked out. Tyri was the first to rush out, a little ostentatious.
"Looks good, of course it's good, my Tyri looks good in anything." Shopping is the enemy of men, and although Carter thinks he is strong, he seems to be a little unbearable, so he has to answer some perfunctory.
However, Tyri didn't seem to hear Carter's perfunctory, but became more excited. The horror half a day ago seems to have been completely washed away by the excitement of shopping.
But can it really be washed away? The answer is always no, because a new horror appears without warning.
"Boom!" A bus came out of nowhere, staggering, but crashing into Tyri, who was bouncing at great speed.
"Tyri!!" Carter let out a heart-rending roar and looked at his lover, who was still alive and kicking, churning in the air. Just a few meters away, there is indeed a difference between life and death. (To be continued.) )
