Chapter Seventy-Four: The Reincarnation of Millet 9
This quirky name is not new to Grandpa. This person had an intersection with Kublai Khan, who established the Yuan Dynasty, and was once arrested and released by Kublai Khan, so his name appeared in the history books. Grandpa knew about this person when he read the history of the Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty before. This person was born in the fourth year of Jiatai in the Song Dynasty, that is, in 1204, which is also the third year of the wooden rat in the Tibetan calendar.
According to the history books, Karma Pakhi was literate at the age of six, and when he was nine to ten years old, he read all the Buddhist scriptures and understood their meaning. Later, on his way to study the Dharma, he met Bedu Songchenpa, another disciple of Rinpoche and Bundrakpa. Rinpoche Pungdrakpa believed that he was the reincarnation of Dusong Chenpa and gave him all the teachings for his empowerment. After that, Karma Pakhi received novice ordination and bhikshu ordination, and became an official monk. After becoming a monk, he first entered the Karma Dansar Monastery and later to the Xiangbu Monastery near Lhasa, where he gradually gained fame and became a famous Karma Kagyu teacher.
But Daddy didn't know that he still had the experience of prophesied reincarnation.
Luo Buzhai continued: "There are many contents and ways of prophecy. Some are in a dream, the living Buddha said that he saw a beautiful place in his dream, and soon he passed away, and his descendants will go to find the place according to the dream; Some are oral transmissions, and the living Buddha says that he longs for a place or where he has left his footprints, and future generations must also follow this will; Some are written as words. For example, the 6th Dalai Lama, Changyang Gyatso, wrote a poem before his death, 'Please lend me wings to the white crane, and it will not fly far away, but will return to Litang.' So the descendants followed this prophecy and went to Litang to find his reincarnated spirit child. ”
After listening to the hexagram, Grandpa said: "Although she is not a living Buddha and does not have such a high Buddha nature, she has experienced thousands of years of cultivation, which can be said to be earlier than the birth of the Karma Pakshi you mentioned. ”
Grandpa took a deep puff of cigarette, slowly exhaled it, and asked Luo Buzhai in the smoke and mist, "What do you say?" ”
Luo Buzhai thought for a while, shook his head and said, "I don't know." ”
"Do you think Xie Xiaomi may not have thought of leaving a hint?"
Luo Buzhai shook his head again and said, "Did she think about leaving a hint, I don't know." But ever since Karma Pakshi prophesied reincarnation, people who are fame and fortune have also begun to use the uncertainty of this reincarnation to confuse the public. Some children who are obviously not reincarnated are also manipulated by some forces, making them desperately read the scriptures, and teaching them to make up lies, saying that they once dreamed that they were Guru So-and-so, and where they did something, so that others would think that these children were the reincarnation of Guru So-and-so. The relics left behind by Karma Pakshi after his death were all physical relics, and there were obvious blood vessels on the relics. I believe that his reincarnation is true. But since then, many prophecies of reincarnation have been falsified and doubtful. ”
"You mean that the prophecy of reincarnation itself is not very reliable, so Xie Xiaomi will not give us hints in this way. Is it? ”
Luo Buzhai nodded.
"If she has been informed by the spirit of a thousand years of cultivation where she will be reincarnated, why not tell you directly, but leave a prophecy that seems true or false as a hint?" Luo Buzhai asked rhetorically.
Grandpa asked the question back: "The living Buddhas know where their reincarnation is, so why don't they tell the believers and followers directly, but leave a hint?" ”
Luo Buzhai was speechless.
Daddy looked at the smoke in front of him and said, "Maybe their reincarnation is like these smoke, although it has a direction and shape, but you can't know exactly where it will drift later." ”
Luo Buzhai looked at the bamboo slip on the beam of the house and said, "Of course, it floats up to the location where the bamboo slip is." ”
"What if a gust of wind blows in through the crack in the door?"
Luo Buzhai said: "Of course, it will be blown away." ”
Grandpa nodded and said, "The so-called heavenly secret must not be revealed." If the living Buddhas directly say the place where they are reincarnated, it is a leak of heavenly secrets. After the leakage of the Heavenly Machine, the Heavenly Machine is likely to be changed. The power to change the heavens comes from the words of the living Buddhas. The power to change the direction of the smoke comes from the wind that shines through the cracks in the door. The heavenly machine is smoke, and the words of the living Buddhas are the wind blowing in through the cracks in the door. Therefore, the Living Buddhas can only use these implicit words to guide their followers and followers, so that others can not only find their reincarnation through hard work, but also avoid directly revealing the heavenly secrets. ”
Luo Buzhai sighed: "I didn't think you were so far before. Now it sounds like it makes a lot of sense. ”
Grandpa slapped the table and said, "You can accompany me to the Lost Bridge tomorrow." Let's go and ask the master of the Xie family to see if Xie Xiaomi said anything or left anything before he died. If anything, those words or things left behind could serve as a basis for our search for her reincarnation. ”
"Okay."
When my grandfather told me that my grandfather was talking about the fact that heaven should not be leaked like smoke cannot withstand the wind through the crack of the door, I doubted my grandfather's memory. Because my father leaked a lot of natural secrets for me and my mother. He didn't use suggestive language, but spoke directly to his mother in the form of an admonition.
Here's the thing. Some of our powerful fortune tellers over there can calculate a person's life according to a person's eight characters, no matter how big or small, there will be something happy in a certain year and a certain month, and we should pay attention to the occurrence of disasters in a certain year and a certain month. Then the fortune teller writes down the person's life in a book, and we call this method of fortune-telling "judging the passing year", which means that the equivalent of the judge of hell will set the whole life of the book.
This kind of book is not like the current fortune teller's crude estimates, casually saying that you will encounter a bloody disaster in the future, and then cheat money, and it is called spending money to eliminate disasters.
If it is time for something good to happen, the owner of the book naturally does not have to worry, and if it is almost time for something bad to happen, he can take precautions in advance, avoid calamity, and turn evil into good fortune.
Before my mother got married, my father told her that there were three points in her life that she should pay attention to, and she should keep her door closed, saying that she had pain and blood, and if she went out, she would have an accident and suffer. But my grandfather didn't write out this passing year, and at that time, the passing year had already begun to leave, so it was not allowed. Daddy didn't write it, because he felt that the passing year should not be written in writing, this is a leak of the heavenly machine, and the leakage of the heavenly machine will not only bring harm to the fortune teller, but also be bad for the fortune teller, so it can be avoided.
At that time, fortune tellers were blind. Grandpa said: "Let the blind man write the passing year, God will reward them with food, so that they will not starve to death." In the old days, the blind could not farm or work, and this was their way of life. "Grandpa is not blind, so he doesn't rob the blind man of the food that God has rewarded, which is one of the reasons why he doesn't write about the passing years.
On two occasions, when it was time for him to predict that something was going to happen to his mother, his father locked her in the house and did not let her go out, so that he could avoid it.
After two times, my grandfather died and died.
When the time came for the third time, my grandfather came to my house and asked my father to lock her up at home. Mom respects her father but is not afraid of her grandfather, so she gets into trouble with him. Mom thought that Grandpa was superfluous to worry about, saying that there would be an accident the first two times, but there was no accident, even if she was released at that time, there would be no accident. My grandfather had no way to argue, so he had to let my mother out.
My mother rode a bicycle to a distant place to watch a movie, and it was common to run more than ten or twenty miles while watching a movie. As a result, on the way to the movie, my mother was in a car accident and was hit by a big east wind.
Mom was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the accident caused a severe lower back fracture.
When she was still in the hospital, my mother had a dream that her grandfather took a board and beat her hard, blaming her for being disobedient. The board hit her waist again and again, and it hurt her terribly. Since then, my mother has suffered from the sequelae of a broken back, and she will die of pain every time the weather changes drastically.
After this accident, she secretly told her father that our son had three deep water passes, and if he didn't take care of it, he would drown, which was what his father told her before his death. She didn't believe it before, so she didn't tell anyone, but she believed it after her accident, so she regarded her father's words as an important thing.
My experience was similar to that of my mother, the first two times I went to the deep water pass, my father watched me because he listened to my mother's words and did not let me go into the water. The third time, I went out at noon, and while they were all taking a nap, I secretly swam alone in the village pond.
At that time, I didn't know how to swim, so I had to hold on to the shore with both hands and just kick my legs. But as I kicked and kicked, I felt like I was swimming, and before I knew it, I left the shore, as if someone was holding my belly, and I didn't sink.
I thought I had suddenly learned and was very happy. But soon after I left the shore, I sank. I choked on several mouthfuls of water, and when I thought I was going to drown, my hair was suddenly lifted. But the man wouldn't lift me ashore, and I was choking.
At this time, my father, who found that I was missing, ran to the pond and saw a clump of hair in the water, so he grabbed the hair and lifted me up, so that I could save the day and not drown.
Later, no one knew who was carrying my hair, waiting for my father to find me.
Everyone in the village asked, but no one saw me drowning, no one rescued me, and no other stranger came.
About seven or eight years after this incident, my father once passed by Thrush Village and met a man who called his name. Dad saw the man, but he didn't know him. The man laughed and said, "I saved your son seven or eight years ago." Dad didn't think about it at the time, thinking the man was joking. After the man left, Dad remembered that I had drowned in the past and hurried to chase the man. But the man was gone.
When my mother heard about this, she asked anxiously, "It can't be an acquaintance who lives near Thrush Village, right?" You didn't thank people, you always remember what they looked like, right? ”
Dad said that the man had a strange appearance, and his face looked like a horse's face.
