Chapter 206: Finding the Treasure

The long-dormant river ice in the Celestial River, located in the northern part of the Empire, has begun to melt, and the water in the Celestial River has quietly begun to flow in the coming spring.

The woods below the river have begun to cover themselves with a light layer of greenery, and the perennial non-deciduous holly trees and squirrels bloom in the mountains behind Xunfeng Temple.

Although the purple maple forest in front of the mountain is still bare, seeing that February is coming, these old trees seem to be scrambling, and they are desperately trying to spit out new shoots.

There is no tree that wants to be left behind, they want to wake up from this silent winter night, and gradually return to vitality.

As if pretending to be spring, the bell of Sunkaze Temple rang three times.

The second prince, Li Zhongchen, had already knelt in front of the Buddha all night, and the shopkeeper kept watch outside the door all night.

This night's kneeling and enlightenment was the calamity necessary for the second prince to come and ask for such a treasure.

The abbot of Xunfeng Temple is an old monk who is very old, and his Dharma name is very easy to remember.

This empty monk should be one of the few remaining scripture cultivators in the empire, his identity is extremely special, and he should be regarded as the supreme person of scripture transmission and cultivation.

Nowadays, all the juniors in the world who practice the scriptures have to call their ancestors when they see this empty monk, because he is the founder of this scripture transmission practice.

The monk was sweeping the dust in the courtyard at this time, and although the bell had struck three times, he still didn't mean to go in to take a look at the second prince.

In his opinion, if these two princes really realized, the Buddha would naturally tell him the answer.

If he asks for something, he will naturally be able to get it easily.

This night has passed, isn't the wisdom of these two princes not enough, and they haven't broken through the Buddha's will?

Just when the monk finished sweeping the courtyard, the second prince slowly stood up from in front of the Buddha, bowed deeply to the Buddha, and then turned his head and left the Buddha hall.

"How is it, Your Highness?"

The shopkeeper asked eagerly, and the second prince shook his head.

"Maybe I don't have enough wisdom, I have never been able to understand. ”

Although the second prince admitted it, he showed a very calm smile.

"Although I don't understand what great wisdom is, I think that great wisdom is not something illusory. ”

The empty monk just swept the ground, looking at the second prince's self-talking appearance, and didn't mean to pay attention to the second prince at all.

"If you don't ask for it, the donor will leave on his own. ”

"If you don't get it, it's not enough fate, or maybe it's the wrong time, wait until the right time and the right fate arrive. ”

This empty monk had no interest in what the second prince said at all, and he still had other things to do after sweeping the ground.

In this Xunfeng Temple, there are many things that the abbot has to do himself, thinking of this, the monk shook his head.

These young monks are all obsessed with their own Buddhist pursuits, and none of them want to take some time to help him tidy up the yard.

What else do you say about this courtyard, why should it be tidied up, and it should be ruled by doing nothing, this temple is the most beautiful.

This little monk is sharper than the other, but if there is more dust, they dislike it for contaminating their meditation on Buddha.

After so many years, I haven't been able to seek a meditation, and I don't want to reflect on whether it is my own problem, but I blame the old abbot for coming.

The monk was also helpless, so he had to clean up this small Buddhist courtyard by himself.

"The so-called great wisdom is nothing more than pushing the boat along the water, pushing the waves and adding fuel to the fire. ”

The words of the two princes directly made Master Kongwen stunned, so he sighed.

"The donor really didn't have enough wisdom, and he actually realized such a shallow thing after a night of enlightenment. ”

Master Kongwen really didn't want to say anything more to the second prince, he walked to the wall with a broom, stood the broom next to the wall, and moved his waist.

"Ouch! This back, but some of them can't do it. ”

"It seems that Master Kongwen is also an ordinary person, just sweeping such a small courtyard, and his back hurts?"

The second prince said with a smile, but Master Kongwen disagreed.

"At my age, my back is already easy to strain, but this group of little monks is unwilling to help me, an old monk, so I have to do things myself. ”

"So, that's something wrong with your understanding of this wisdom. ”

"I have a question, little benefactor, you are really interesting. ”

Master Kongwen smiled, his seventy-year-old monk was actually said to have a wrong understanding of this great wisdom.

Today's people are really becoming more and more arrogant.

"The so-called great wisdom of Buddhism is not a profound or profound thought, but a very simple and simple thing. ”

"If you take this too seriously, it doesn't make sense. ”

Master Kongwen smiled and said nothing, listening to what the two princes said, he muttered in his heart.

actually said that the great wisdom of Buddhism is not a profound thought, and it can only be said that he, the benefactor, does not have access to the great wisdom of this Buddhist family.

The so-called great wisdom is to swallow the universe and look at it vertically and horizontally.

Break through cause and effect, and understand reincarnation.

In this way, the great wisdom of Buddhism is a great light that guides the people of Buddhism to this supreme heavenly way.

This little benefactor actually said that the wisdom of Buddhism is not profound, but it is really a bit arrogant.

"What does the little benefactor think of this great wisdom?"

"Abbot Kongwen is willing to listen now?"

The second prince laughed.

"I want to hear about it. ”

"I can't say what I said, but don't you think this group of little monks won't sweep the yard for you?"

"I have a way to get this little monk to sweep your yard every day. ”

This empty master felt very strange, could it be that this little benefactor really had a way?

He didn't believe it a little, this group of little monks was very self-conscious, completely immersed in their own Buddhism day by day, how could they have the heart to sweep the courtyard for him?

"If you don't believe me, three days, you can see here in three days. ”

After the master and the second prince agreed, they went out for three days, and after three days, when the master came back, there were many young monks waiting in line in this courtyard.

"Mr. Li, it's my turn now!"

After a monk bowed his hand to the second prince, he walked directly into the Buddha hall with a handful of incense, and after offering incense in the Buddha hall, he thought about it for a while.

Then, the little monk stood up, bowed sharply to the Buddha statue, and ran out quickly.

"I thought of it, I thought of it!"

The little monk shouted in a voice that he was afraid that others would not know!

"Thank you, Mr. Li, for helping me understand my Buddhist path! Tomorrow, I will come to clean the courtyard for the Buddha!"

After that, the little monk ran away directly, and the other little monks directly showed envious eyes, and hurriedly lined up to look into the Buddhist hall.

"Donor, what are you?"

Seeing the scene of the little monks rushing to come and worship the Buddha, the monk was puzzled.

The previous group of monks were not so active at all!

Not only did I not come to worship once for several days, but every time I went to worship with incense, I had a bitter face.

This Li Gongzi not only made the incense of this Buddha vigorous, but also made this group of little monks rush to come to offer incense.

It's amazing!

"Hey, it's not that hard. ”

The second prince spread out his hand and said with a smile:

"Isn't it because they can't concentrate their minds that they can't understand the Buddha's way, this incense is called condensing incense, which has the effect of nourishing the soul and condensing the spirit. ”

"The price is not expensive, and the effect is wonderful, with this soul incense, not only let the incense of the Buddha Hall be vigorous, but also allow this group of little monks to participate in the Buddha's way, killing two birds with one stone. ”

After hearing this, the monk felt a little ridiculous, how could this incense offering incense to the Buddha use this concentrating incense?

"This is absolutely unacceptable, it is common for contemplation incense to be used for spiritual practice, and it is unheard of to be used to worship incense. ”

The second prince tapped his temples and motioned to Abbot Kongwen to think about it.

"Abbot, think about it, if this Buddha can really experience all kinds of things in the world, is it good that this incense is so vigorous and worshipped, or is it good that no one cares about it?"

"You can't use condensing incense, it's a bad rule. ”

"When you say the rules, you are already the opposite of what you say about great wisdom. ”

After the second prince finished speaking, the empty monk was stunned, and he was speechless for a while.

That's right, there are no rules and regulations in this wisdom.

The so-called great wisdom is something that breaks the original framework, otherwise how can you look at it vertically and horizontally, and how can you swallow the universe?

It's like you can't see through reincarnation at all, you can only break samsara after you jump out of samsara.

"I think that the Buddha is the universal sentient beings, so his great wisdom should be something that the general public can grasp. ”

"In this world, there are not only those who have outstanding wisdom, but more ordinary people. ”

"Moreover, since this Buddha is a universal being, aren't birds and beasts all part of all living beings?"

"Therefore, great wisdom should be looking for commonalities among this wide range of beings, rather than looking for breakthroughs among those little elites. ”

"Great wisdom should be the wisdom of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages. ”

After the second prince finished speaking, Master Kongwen thought about it, indeed, what he said did have some truth.

Since this Buddha wants to universalize sentient beings, then it naturally has to first understand sentient beings and know what sentient beings are pursuing.

Therefore, the Buddha is worshipped, believed, and hoped.

Everyone who comes to ask for incense from the Buddha can get a fate given to him by the Buddha.

A person with great wisdom will be able to grasp this fate, so as to turn evil into good fortune or ascend to heaven in one step.

And those who lack great wisdom will directly ignore this fate, but complain about the heavens and others, and feel that Buddhism is deceiving.

In this case, the principle of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages and pushing the boat along with the current seem so ingenious and profound.

It is not a smooth push for things, but a smooth push for the Buddha's fate.

This little benefactor is indeed not a mortal.

In this way, the little benefactor is indeed a wise man. ”

The monk smiled, took out a spirit bead from his robe, and handed it to the second prince.

This is what the donor asks for, and if there is a need, it is directly driven. ”

"Thank you, Master Kongwen, when I turn evil into good fortune and overcome difficulties, I will personally return this spiritual object. ”

Master Kongwen just smiled and walked straight into the Buddha hall.

"It's related to you, return it or something, you don't have to. ”

The fragrant and calming fragrance permeated the small courtyard of this Xunfeng Temple, and the two little monks who were cleaning in the courtyard were still chattering and discussing their understandings.

The second prince and the shopkeeper successfully completed the treasure quest, and got into the carriage back to Yunjing with satisfaction.

What awaits them, they don't yet know.
