Lu Haikong mentioned in the letter that as far as he knew, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent Zhang Qian as an envoy to the Western Regions, the purpose of which was to find and contact the Dayue clan, who had been driven away by the Xiongnu, to attack the Xiongnu together. Zhang Qian had bad luck, and as soon as he went out, he let the Huns detain him, and it took a long time to escape. Zhang Qian and the others first went to Dawan, then contacted Kangju, and finally arrived at the Da Yue clan (today's area controlled by the Taliban in Afghanistan), and the Da Yue clan was also beaten by the Xiongnu and had no choice but to move to Afghanistan. Zhang Qian originally planned to unite with the Taliban armed group to beat the Xiongnu, but he escaped from the Xiongnu at that time.
When he arrived in Afghanistan, he had no food or money, just like a beggar. It's like a man named Hanako suddenly ran to them and said, Come back with me to fight the Huns, who believes it! Moreover, the Taliban forces had food and drink in Afghanistan, and there were no Americans to fight, so they lived very comfortably, and they didn't want to go back and cause trouble. Therefore, Zhang Qian did nothing except explore the way in the Western Regions this time.
In 119 BC, Liu Che sent Zhang Qian to the Western Regions again, this time Zhang Qian used the golden beauty to engage in diplomacy, and established an anti-Xiongnu alliance with many countries in the Western Regions, and then Liu Che sent Wei Qing and Huo Qubing to send troops on an expedition, and the Western Regions Alliance beat the side drum in the back, completely crippled the Xiongnu.
After the end of the war, the anti-Xiongnu alliance dominated by the Han Dynasty reached a trade consensus with each other, and the Han Dynasty began the construction of the Silk Road infrastructure, repairing the national highway (Zhuchi Road) and building a post office (post station), and also established the Western Regions Military Region (Western Regions Metropolitan Protection), and the Silk Road began to be put into use. Later, after the vigorous management of Ban Gu and Ban Yong, the Silk Road extended as far as some countries in the Mediterranean.
However, the influence of the ancient Silk Road was extremely far-reaching, and there was more than one route, including one route from Xi'an, through Sichuan, Yunnan, Tibet, Xinjiang, and finally to India.
The ancient Zhangxiong Kingdom was also a necessary place on the Silk Road, and most of the various rare materials required for the most popular alchemy in the Western Han Dynasty entered Chang'an City from this road.
Chinese alchemy, originated from the ancient period of people's yearning for immortality, the Warring States period of the prevalence of alchemy, some alchemists believe that only immortal things such as gold and stone, can achieve the immortal body of people, with gold and stone alchemy began from this. However, the opening of the Silk Road played a role in the alchemy and medicine.
Generations have refined the elixir, but there are no people who eat the elixir and are immortal, but there are many people who eat the elixir and die quickly. However, the alchemists firmly believe that the elixir can be refined, but they have not found the right raw materials for refining the elixir. As a result, alchemists diligently sought out exotic raw materials. After the opening of the Silk Road, some minerals, plants and spices that were produced in western Asia (Western Regions, Central Asia, Persia, India, Arabia) and not found in the Central Plains came one after another.
According to the "Book of Wei: The Biography of the Western Regions": "The capital of Persia is the city of Suli...... Gold, silver, stone, coral, amber, chariot canal, horse brain (agate), pearl (pearl), pear (glass), glass, water spirit (crystal), Sese, King Kong, fire qi, iron, copper, tin, cinnabar, mercury...... and incense ...... such as smoked land, tulip, Suhe, and green wood Salt green, orpiment and other things. ”
These Persian properties have been repeatedly mentioned in later histories, and new ones have been added to them. The minerals and spices in it became the raw materials that alchemists vied to use for experiments (spices are generally used as auxiliary materials). Because the Persian Sassanid Dynasty dominated the western part of Asia at that time, controlled the western end of the Silk Road, and opened up the Maritime Silk Road, for a time Persian products were popular in the Central Plains and were used for medicine and alchemy.
Lu Haikong said that Li Shaojun personally went to the ancient country of Zhangxiong to find the treasures of heaven and earth to make alchemy for Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. But he consulted the records of the inner court during the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and found that it was recorded that Li Shaojun went to Tibet to track down an incident, which was related to another Fang Shiyida. This person named Yida is rumored to be a brother from the same family as Li Shaojun.
Lao Pan once copied the contents of Li Shaojun's parchment scroll to Lu Haikong, and the coordinates he left us were several addresses obtained after deciphering the mystical diagram on the parchment scroll and after being calculated by the Xuanmen masters.
And all of this points to the Seven Killing Stars in "Killing the Wolf", according to Li Shaojun, the capital of the Xiangxiong Ancient Kingdom, the Vault Silver City, is the location of the Seven Killing Array.
However, after an in-depth investigation by the land, sea and air, it was discovered that the location of the Dome Silver City had always been a mystery, and there were many opinions about its exact location, but all of them were based on speculation.
As for why Li Shaojun wanted to find out the ground location of the Seven Killing Stars, whether it was related to that Yida, whether anyone had laid down the Seven Killing Array there, and whether he had prevented the formation of the Seven Killing Array, these were all vague in the parchment scroll.
And what we have to do this time is even more difficult and dangerous than exploring the mystery of gold, that is, to find the location of the Seven Killing Stars and destroy the formation. If there is no formation, it is also necessary to stop the green snake's people from arranging the formation. These two interrelated things, either of which are extremely difficult for us.
This is probably the content of the land, sea and air letters, and after some discussion, everyone decided to start with these suspected coordinates.
The first location was determined to be at the top of the nearest Munshi village, Kardon Hill.
Qionglong Silver City (Dome Silver City), also called Qionglong Silver Castle, Tibetan for "Qionglong Weikar". "Qiong" is the meaning of the Dapeng bird, "Long" is "the place of residence", and "Qionglong" is the place where the Dapeng bird lives. "Wei" originally means silver, here it is extended to silver, and "Carl" means castle. In short, Qionglong Weikar is the "Dapeng Silver City".
In recent years, archaeological discoveries have proved that the ancient Zhangxiong civilization is the real root of Tibetan civilization.
Tibet's Ali region, which is also one of the least densely populated regions in the world, has seen some population growth in recent years, but the number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting for adventures is several times greater than that of local residents.
In the remote hinterland of Ali in Tibet, there were once two famous dynasties – the Zhangzhung Dynasty and the Guge Dynasty. The two dynasties ruled the Ali region for thousands of years, one after the other.
The location of both dynasties is near Zada County, and the ruins of Guge are famous; The capital of the Zhangzhung Dynasty is little known, and because the history of the Zhangzhung Dynasty is longer, the archaeological evidence is more difficult, and the specific address of the Zhangzhung capital is still a mystery to this day. In recent years, archaeologists have found two relics in the south of Menshi Township of 219 National Road, which are preliminarily identified as the capital of the Zhangxiong Dynasty - Qionglong Silver City.
We drove out of the village and along the Xiangquan River to the southwest, but the road conditions were very poor.
The first Qionglong Silver City is located at the top of Kardong Mountain at an altitude of 4,400 meters, covering an area of more than 100,000 square meters. The road was tortuous, and I was a little dizzy due to the uneven potholes, but fortunately, the air was still fresh and I did not encounter altitude sickness.
Strings of multicolored prayer flags and hata are often seen on the road, as well as the Mani Pile with the bison skull, which is an "altar" made of stones, slabs and pebbles of various sizes by Tibetans, also known as the "Sacred Pile".
In the mountains, at road junctions, by lakes, and by rivers in Tibet, you can see altars made of stones and stone slabs, and most of the stones, stone slabs or pebbles of the Nima pile are engraved with words and images. The content is mostly Tibetan Buddhist scriptures, Buddha statues, animal protection gods, six-character mantras and various auspicious patterns. On auspicious days, people simmer mulberry and add stones to the Nyima pile, touch it with their foreheads reverently, and pray incessantly. As time went by, the Nima piles rose from the ground, getting higher and higher.
When we came to the top of Kardon Mountain, we found that the Dome Silver City here had been developed into a tourist attraction, and there were two remnants of an ancient city site on the surface, which seemed to have nothing to do with the Seven Killing Array we were looking for.
The site only retains some of the buildings in the cave, and for the convenience of tourists, steps and guardrails have been built on the site, but the area here is remote, and few tourists come, and there are even no management personnel.
On one of the blackened walls in the cave is the Bon symbol "swastika", which is different from the Tibetan Buddhist swastika, one counterclockwise and one clockwise.
In a dimly lit hut on the top, the walls are painted with colorful murals, which look very quaint and uniquely Tibetan. There are many caves dug into the rock wall here, and some caves are full of sheep bones, and the Bon religion has the habit of killing and sacrificing, which is estimated to be related to the sacrifice at that time.
After a rough turn, we didn't find any clues worth paying attention to, so we had to abandon this place and look elsewhere.
In addition, after coming out of Menshi Township, passing by a former Jiamu Temple on the way, and then starting from here to the northwest, it enters the Xiangquan River Gorge area, going forward for about 20 kilometers, on the cliff in the southwest of Qulong Village, there is a spectacular castle, the local people call Qulong Silver City. Qulong and Qionglong should be the same Tibetan transliteration, both of which mean eagle.
On the other side of the river, overlooking Qulong Silver City, the red, yellow and silver soil layer shines in the sun. The silver soil layer in the middle of the cliff is particularly eye-catching, and the whole looks like a giant eagle flying with wings spread.
A Tibetan in Qulong village told us that the ruins here should be divided into two periods, with the Guge Dynasty site on top of a hill and the Qionglong Silver City built on the side of a cliff.
The mountain here is steeper, and according to the villagers, there is a flat area after the pass in front of us, where we can park our car and walk up the hill.
At the pass, the different peaks protrude, the strange rocks are craggy, and the buildings on the cliff can be seen on the tall and steep peaks in the distance.
When the car passed through the pass, I felt uneasy, a little frightened, and I couldn't tell what was wrong, could it be altitude sickness?
Suddenly, a rumbling sound came from a distance, and it was getting louder and louder, as if something was getting closer to us.
When I looked at the mountain on the right, I suddenly shouted, "Oh no!!" Hurry up!! ”
