Chapter 216: Adridge's Visit
"Looks like you know a lot of things." When Tony Stark got straight to the point, Maya Hansen's face swept with surprise. She really didn't expect Tony Stark to find a lot of information in such a short period of time.
"What are you talking about?" Pepper Pepper Pepper Potz on the side looked at the two sensitively, and her eyes fell on Tony Stark.
"Some trouble, Pepper." Tony Stark shrugged.
"Something to do with Adridge Killian?" Pepper Potz asked.
She had just met Adridge Killian the other day.
"You know him?" Tony Stark heard something different from Pepper Potts' words.
"I used to know him." Pepper Potz walked up and replied, "I just met him the other day, and he's a completely different person, very different from the Adridge Killian I remembered. What did he do? β
"Miss Hansen may be able to tell you what that Adridge Killian did. I would also like to know some of the glorious deeds of that Mr. AdriΔ-Killian. Tony Stark grabbed Pepper Pepper Popper Potts by the shoulders and pushed her face to face in front of Maya Hansen, making a gesture of please with the other arm for Maya Hansen to answer.
"Don't talk angrily, I don't want to go against you at all." Maya Hansen raised her hands and swung them in front of her, "I've come here to tell you something urgent, but you've been delayed a bit too much. β
"I'm listening." Tony Stark shrugged.
"I was instructed by Adridge Killian. He had visited Miss Potts two days earlier and wanted to work with her. Maya Hansen said, "But Miss Potts refused. β
Tony Stark immediately turned around and gave Pepper Pepper Pepper Potts a thumbs up: "Well done! β
"Well done?" Without waiting for Pepper Potts to answer, Maya Hansen asked a helpless rhetorical question. "It's the worst, you never imagine what kind of person Adridge Killian is. He can do anything. Be practical, if he wants to do something to you. I don't think you will survive for a week. β
"A review that surprised me." Tony Stark grinned, "If he can be more troublesome than the enemies I've experienced before, and more numerous than those alien visitors in Manhattan, New York, then let him come and give it a try." I happen to have an account to settle with him. β
"Just your alloy suit?" Maya Hansen turned and pointed to a Mark suit in the corner of the living room that stood like a work of art.
It was Mark Suit No. 42, which had just been born.
"You don't understand the power in the hands of Adridge Killian, and his own strength." Maya Hansen wiped her face with both hands as if she were washing her face and shook off her hair. looked at Tony Stark seriously, and his tone was stern and serious: "He's a monster Tony, and he has a bunch of monsters under him." Your suit won't protect you for anything, and it won't protect Miss Potts. β
Maya Hansen said, and at last, her eyes glanced at Pepper Pepper Pepper Potts next to Tony.
"Your words like that only make me more excited." Tony Stark said calmly: "I like to slap the face with facts. β
"Won't you hear what we want to do with you?" Maya Hansen frowned.
When she came, she did think that this was not an easy errand, and after more than ten years, she thought in her heart that Tony Stark, a proud and conceited man, might change, but just such a short conversation now, Maya Hansen had found out. This man has indeed changed, but his personality is still as stubborn and stubborn as he was more than ten years ago.
"I'm not interested." Tony Stark replied bluntly.
He was angry with Harpy, and thinking that Harpy might never wake up again, Tony Stark was angry at the person who caused it. To be honest, he wished that AIM, the most suspicious of all, was coming at him.
"There's a new visitor, sir."
Jarvis's voice rang softly in the ears of Tony Stark and the others. Everyone turned to look at the transparent tempered glass door, and saw a well-dressed man. He was standing outside the door with a bald man. Seeing the eyes of Tony Stark and the others in the room, the well-dressed man smiled and raised his hand and waved it to everyone.
See the man's face. Maya Hansen's face turned a little pale for a moment, and her expression was a little cramped. Pepper Pepper Potz is just as uneasy. Inside the house, with the usual face, it was Tony Stark, and the two female bodyguards who hid in the corner of the house were responsible for keeping Pepper Potts safe.
"Adridge Killian." Maya Hansen's expression was pale and apprehensive, and it was clear that she had extremely mixed feelings for the man outside the door.
"You've been delayed for too long. Maya. There's no doubt how important you are to me," Adridge Killian, who walked into the room and ignored Jarvis's scan, said gently, "so I've got to come and take a look." β
"Adridge Killian?" Tony Stark looked at the man who approached with a bad face.
"It's me. Meet Mr. Tony Stark again. To be honest, I imagine that we should not meet again in this environment. Adridge Killian smiled and continued: "It's already happening in a much more wonderful environment. β
"We've met?"
Tony Stark was a little surprised by Adridge Killian's words.
"You don't remember? Why wasn't I surprised in the slightest? Adridge Killian spread his hands: "That's right, too." I used to be just a small person, even if you played it, you forgot it, of course I won't be remembered by a rich man like you. β
"But that night thirteen years ago, I never forget it."
"I waited for you all night on the top floor of the building, thinking that you would come up and invest in my team as promised, even though I knew you were playing tricks on me, I still had a little bit of hope for you. But apparently, I forgot what kind of bastard Tony Stark was. β
"I was desperate to jump off the building, and it was a dark day, wasn't it? But I have to thank you because you are where I am today. β
Aldridge Cillian smiled and took out a worn business card from his clothes and handed it to Tony Stark: "Now, allow us to go back to the night thirteen years ago, I handed you this business card and invited you to join my team once again. β
"But I want you to think a little bit more about something else when you're thinking about whether or not to take this card." (To be continued......)
