Chapter 37: The Truth, the Station, the Planning

Peter Parker was overjoyed, reached out and took out the old briefcase, and did not look at it, but carried it upside down in a hurry, shaking it up and down fiercely. Pieces of paper and small objects flew out of the upside-down briefcase in an instant with his violent movements.

Gwen Stacy walked around the messy clutter on the ground and crouched down in the clearing that Peter Parker had swept out with his feet, rummaging through the papers and items that had been shaken out of his briefcase.

"What are you doing?"

Mae Parker heard the noise and pushed the door open from the outside, looking at Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, who were crouching on the ground and looking at something, with some disappointment on their faces.

"Someone may know about my parents, and the clue he gave me was this briefcase that belonged to my father." Peter Parker took his briefcase and looked through each of its pockets to see if there was anything in it that hadn't been shaken off.

"I want to find that clue." Peter Parker said with disappointment, threw away his briefcase, and slammed the pile of formula materials he was holding on to the ground.

"The result?" Aunt Mei asked.

"Throw away those photos, except for those formulas and those formulas." Peter Parker held his head in his hands, grabbed his scalp with his fingers, and looked ugly.

"You never cared about that."

Aunt May's tone was a little erratic and panicked, but Peter Parker didn't hear it in his distraught.

"I don't think I care, but ......" Peter Parker didn't say what followed, but everyone present understood the unfinished meaning of his words.

"You've disappointed me!"

Peter Parker looked back in surprise, no matter how dull he was, he could hear something abnormal and wrong from his Aunt May's mouth.

"I don't understand why you're obsessed with that liar! Perpetrator! Shameless thieves! Aunt Mei's thin body trembled, her face was panicked and flushed, and her whole person seemed to be in an extremely agitated mood, and even her words were a little aggressive.

"Who forsaken you? And who raised you? Who is working hard to save your future college tuition now? Aunt Mei's tone was devastated with a kind of panic: "It was that liar who abandoned you!" He dropped you off at my and your uncle's house that day, and never returned. ā€œ

"It was me and Ben who worked hard to raise you as our own children."

"It's me, an old woman with little education, who is going to learn about nurses with those young girls, just to make money for you to go to college."

"It's me and Ben!"

"You're my child!"

"They abandoned you, but I won't hurt you!"

Gwen Stacy awkwardly stood up from the ground, her eyes carefully roaming back and forth between the excited Aunt May and Peter. The current environment made her feel that she was superfluous and should not be there. Of course, she shouldn't have listened to these words.

"I know, I know! I'm your child, and no one can change that! It's enough for me to have you,"

Peter Parker stepped forward with red eyes, gently took the excited Aunt May in his arms, and carefully comforted her. Only after the excited Aunt May calmed down under the comfort of her did she let go of her and looked into her eyes seriously, Peter Parker's tone was as soft as plush as a plush voice, as if he was afraid of irritating the woman in front of him who had become old and was already the most important woman in his life.

"I just want to know what happened back then, I just want to know what happened to them, I just want to know the truth. You know something, right? Otherwise you can't say they're liars. But you don't want to say, I won't ask again. ā€

Aunt Mei took a few deep breaths, calmed down her feelings, her calloused palm covered her face like washing her face, and her fingertips wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes with the movement of her palm, "I'm fine." You're an adult, and there's something you want to know, and I'll sue you. But kid, Ben and I don't tell you things because the truth hurts you! ā€

Aunt May paused for a moment, then said, "One day after your parents' funeral, two people from the government came to us, and they said that the genetic research that your father and Norman Osborne conducted together was of great value, and there were many people out there who were willing to pay a lot of money for it, so he ran away with his things. ā€

They say he's a traitor! ā€

"Ben and I couldn't believe it, they said he betrayed his best friend, Norman Osborne, and betrayed everyone, for money!"

Oh, my God!

Gwen Stacy on the side subconsciously covered her lips, she was afraid that she would cry out in surprise.

"I don't believe it, it doesn't make sense." Peter Parker also looked depressed, he thought about many, many truths, but this one was beyond his expectations. If this is true, Peter Parker will not be able to face his good friend Harry Osborne in the future.

That kind of shame and self-shame will completely engulf him like a tidal wave.

"I don't believe it either! Over and over again in my mind, I wondered what was wrong, what was wrong! The Richard I know is an ordinary and low-key person, he has worn a shabby yĆ n uniform for 20 years, and an old husband's briefcase has never changed. Take the subway to work at 7 a.m. every morning and go home at 6 p.m. ā€

"But Peter, maybe everyone has an unknown side, even when it comes to the people they love." Aunt Mei whispered.

Peter Parker flipped his steps and turned his body in confusion.

"Maybe you need to be quiet." Aunt May glanced at Peter with some concern, and after glancing at Gwen Stacy next to her out of the corner of her eye, she hobbled and wanted to leave.

"That briefcase, your uncle bought it for Richard, there's a hidden bag there, maybe there's something in it." Aunt May seemed to remember something as she closed the door, turned around and gently closed the door for Peter Parker.

Looking at the stiff Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy wanted to be comforted, but didn't know how to comfort him, and out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the worn-out briefcase that Peter Parker had thrown on the ground, leaned over and picked it up, looking through the pockets, looking for the hidden bag that Aunt May said.

Soon, Gwen Stacy finds the so-called bag and pulls something out of it.

"Look at Peter."

Gwen Stacy's voice woke up the battered Peter Parker, who glanced at Gwen out of the corner of his eye, and subconsciously took the things she handed over.

A few special golden coins.

A hard ticket.

It reads: "Track 61 of the Roosevelt Metro Station is below Line D. ā€

……

Underground of Storm's Old House.

"Target moves." The queen's immature voice sounded.

"Go according to plan." Meng Ao commanded.

"Have you always been so careful and complicated?" Emma, the White Queen, asked Meng Ao.

"No, I just don't want to get the attention and interference of some people in a certain organization before the show officially begins." Meng Ao pursed his lips.
