Chapter 255: Jane Foster
The sky was overcast.
It was still raining.
The air was moist and cold.
In an abandoned floor in the suburbs, Jane Foster, who arrives with her friend Daisy Louise because of a message, sees the most incredible scene in her life. In other words, the scene in front of her was second only to that of an Asgardian god man who fell from the sky and fell in front of her eyes.
The man who called himself Thor had promised her that he would come back to meet him, but now two years or so have passed, and there has been no news from the other party.
Oh no, it's not that there is no news, she found him in the battle of Manhattan in New York that caused a lot of noise some time ago. But the other party did not come to her, as if he had forgotten her. Sometimes Jane Foster wonders if that incredible encounter really existed in her life.
Jane Foster has been in a trance for the past two years, and sometimes when her friend Daisy talks to her, she will subconsciously ignore the past, as if she had not heard of it, until the other party woke her up from the trance.
As for work?
The thought of this makes Jane Foster's mood even worse, because her trance state also affects her work, she used to be focused and serious about her work, but in the past two years, or since the man Thor left, no matter how she adjusted, her situation was terrible.
All sorts of mistakes accompanied her work, and even most of them were things she should never have made before!
After the Battle of Manhattan, this state of affairs showed signs of aggravation, because when Jane Foster was wondering and wondering why Thor didn't come back to her, there was another tangle that made her feel lost: why didn't Thor come to see her even though he had returned to this world?
All sorts of ideas and good and bad speculations almost drove Jane Foster crazy, and these messy and useless things filled her brain. Her brain and mind are so full that she can't accommodate too much else.
Jane Foster hated her poor state, but she was powerless to change it.
After the Battle of Manhattan, Jane Foster simply took a long vacation, left her work and everything to follow her friend Daisy Louise to London, England to relax, and casually get together with Dr. Eric Servig in England.
Of course. Jane Foster also wants to see if she can start a new relationship and get her back to normal.
The idea was good, but Jane Foster couldn't do it herself. Even if the people chasing her are in good condition in all respects, and they are more compatible with her—mortals and mortals—Jane Foster forces herself to agree to every invitation from the other party, to eat, to go to the movies, to go shopping, but she is still in a trance and distracted from time to time in the process of Yuehui.
Jane Foster didn't know what she was thinking. But she understands her reluctance. Even if Thor was cheating on her, she just wanted to hear him explain in person.
When her friend Daisy took her to this abandoned floor in the suburbs and let her see the energy reading engraved in her heart on the monitoring instrument, her previous trance spirit was swept away for a while, and she became more uplifted and excited than ever before.
She knew exactly what the energy reading meant, the one that represented something like Thor had said about the Rainbow Bridge in his hometown of Asgard.
Jane Foster kept running around the floor with the instrument in her hand, looking for the familiar energy readings in her memory. In a corridor that separated left and right, Jane Foster paused. He glanced left and right.
The cold wind whistled through the shattered windows, and there was a whimpering sound of wind sobbing throughout the corridor, and the dead branches and leaves swept in by the wind due to the window loopholes scattered all over the long, dark corridor on the left and right.
Jane Foster's long hair lifted in the cold wind like dead leaves that swayed in the wind, making Jane Foster's high-spirited mood suddenly cold. A sudden suction force descended on Jane Foster from the end of the corridor on the left, as if there was a gravitational black hole there. Will not help but himself Jane Foster attracted to the past.
Looking at the wall at the end of the corridor that was getting closer and closer, Jane Foster stretched her hands forward and pushed, her head twisted, she didn't dare to look, and she planned the time little by little. Be prepared to crash into the wall once.
But strangely, she didn't feel the pain of hitting the wall on her own, and even the suction disappeared the moment she closed her eyes.
When Jane Foster opened her eyes again, she didn't see the wall she should have seen, and she looked around, but she didn't see the familiar hallway. In front of her was a dark bottomless abyss, surrounded by strange rocks, and she seemed to have come from an abandoned floor to a cave with heavenly light.
Jane Foster shouted her friend Daisy's name several times, and the voice was loud and echoing, and of course there was no response except for her own. Jane Foster forced herself to composure, cautiously groping around, and suddenly, a red glow leaking from the gap in the center of the boulder caught her eye.
Jane Foster slowly moved her feet and groped her way towards the boulder, the red glow between the boulders swaying and even flowing like firelight. Jane Foster approached and hunched over to look at the gap where the red light was, the red light reflected her face red in the gray cavern, she carefully stretched out a hand to hold the boulder, and put her eyes close to the gap, she wanted to see what the red light in the gap was.
She saw wisps of dark red mist, and a dark red glowing liquid that she couldn't tell if it was a living creature or something.
Her gaze seemed to alarm the dark red mass of unidentified matter within the crevice, and they swarmed in the direction of Jane Foster and her. The moment the dark red substance touched her skin, Jane Foster took a step back in panic, and the whole mass of dark red matter suddenly swooped into her body and disappeared.
And at this moment, far away from the stars, inside a group of small meteorites floating in the universe, a huge space battleship like a cross sword, with a sharp blade at the front, suddenly began to flash with red light. Inside the battleship, a set of quaint humanoid armor on the console, the armor on the face suddenly folded and opened from bottom to top like terraces. The face of a middle-aged man with three-dimensional facial features, pale complexion, and ears like elves was revealed.
It was like a sleeping man suddenly opened his eyes. (To be continued......)
