Fourth-generation medium-sized stealth fighter, single-engine, double-tailed, no flat-tail layout, belly air intake.
The power system is a domestic WS-15C turbofan engine with an afterburner thrust of 17.5 tons and an air combat thrust-to-weight ratio of about 1.4. The maximum level flight speed at high altitude is Mach 2.2, and the high-altitude cruising speed is Mach 1.3.
The built-in magazine can be equipped with combat missiles*2, medium-range missiles*4, or other ammunition of the same volume. The radar system is of the AESA type and has a detection range of 240 km / 165 km (export type) for typical targets (Su-27).
Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group is developed on the basis of the J-10, using a leading edge movable edge strip, an upper delta wing, and no flat tail layout.
