Chapter 410: Forbidden Dao Gate
readx;
Listening to Tang Yifeng mentioned Dongfang Shuo, my eyes lit up, this person is really not simple, although he has not been reused by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, but he is a masterpiece of the world, he has been recommended by himself since the age of 20, and he has been enabled by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. In order to express his dissatisfaction, Dongfang Shuo wrote works such as "Answering Guests" and "On Non-Mr. You", among which the Futi prose "Answering Guests" is his representative work, which opened up a new field of Futi literature.
Dongfang Shuo's deeds are often deified, depicting him as a god or something like a temporary dwelling in the world. Li Bai also has a poem that says: "The world does not know Dongfang Shuo, and the Great Hidden Golden Gate is an immortal." At the same time, Dongfang Shuo is respected as the ancestor of the cross talk industry because of his funny and wise.
The reason why this person can be remembered by me is because of his legendary master, Emperor Donghua. A few years ago, I saw a remark on the Internet, which talked about another apprentice of Emperor Donghua, who was actually the famous Marshal of Tianpeng - Zhu Bajie.
Everyone in the world knows that Dongfang Shuo is unparalleled in his eloquence and resignation, but he does not know his other identity - Taoist doctor.
It's just that he thinks that Taoism is still shallow, and he has never shown himself as a Taoist doctor, and Tang Yifeng doesn't know much about Dongfang Shuoqi, but he just tells us that the inheritance of this Oriental family is the "forbidden door" among the seven doors of Taoist doctors.
The seven gates can be divided into: "Fu Dao Gate", "Mantra Dao Gate", "Jue Dao Gate", "Forbidden Dao Gate", "Qi Dao Gate", "Dharma Dao Gate", "Shudao Gate"
Among them, the forbidden gate is the most mysterious, because what the forbidden gate is studying is the "secret wish" in the ancient magic, which has always been known for being mysterious, powerful, and unguardable. However, the most important feature of the secret blessing is that it can pass on the calamity, and this characteristic is gradually valued by the ruling class.
The secret method has been around for a long time, but it has always been deliberately covered up by the rulers, after all, it is not a glorious thing. The official entry of the secret to the stage of history began at the end of the Warring States period.
Since the Qin Dynasty, there have been so-called "secret wishes" officials, which were first secretly founded by LΓΌ Buwei, the prime minister of Qin at the end of the Warring States Period, to maintain the merits and dignity of Qin Shi Huang, and the Han Dynasty followed it.
The main task of the "secret blessing" is that whenever there is an ominous disaster, disaster, or fault of the emperor's kingdom, it will be transferred to the name of the designated courtier, and the courtier will bear the disaster, and this process is called "secret blessing".
Most of its means are Liujia secret blessings, and the most frequently used is the nine-character mantra, namely: "Those who are fighting in the army are all arrayed forward." β
Its function is similar to that of the early and middle Warring States periods, when the court priests or Taishi orders of the princely states were "gowned".
However, the diviner or taishi order is to publicly "perform divination" and pray for good fortune and misfortune, while the "secret blessing" is to secretly pass on to the courtiers or the people when a disaster has occurred or when there are signs of disaster, or when the emperor is at fault.
Of course, the "secret wishes" sometimes have the matter of secretly transferring auspicious blessings to cronies and courtiers under the will of the emperor, but after all, it is very rare.
The official of the "secret blessing" is served by the royal nobles or the emperor's extremely close trust, and is only responsible to the emperor alone, most of whom are hereditary and extremely powerful.
Emperor Wen of Han deeply hated this official position, and in the thirteenth year of the Han Dynasty (166 BC), he issued an edict: "I have heard that Heaven created the people and made kings for them; If this king does not cultivate his virtues and does not understand his politics, he will go against the original intention of the emperor of heaven, and the heavens will warn him with calamities. Now the world is in peace and chaos, and I am alone. Unfortunately, I have failed to do my duty of educating the people, and I have covered up the light of the sun and the moon. You should point out my mistakes, and let the virtuous and upright and outspoken ones correct me. β
Therefore, Emperor Wen of the Han Dynasty abolished the official of the "secret blessing" and declared: I should be responsible for the mistakes of the hundred officials, and the current official of the "secret blessing" has been moved too low, which is to openly publicize the immorality of the monarch, which I really cannot agree with.
After the disappearance of the secret blessing, the forbidden gate became known. It's just that in order to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past, the forbidden door gave up the use of the Rokko secret blessing, that is, the nine-character mantra, but I didn't expect it to be learned by the Japanese, and some later film and television dramas misled the audience, making everyone think that the nine-character mantra was the first to be used by ninjas.
After giving up the secret blessing of the Liujia, the forbidden technique of the forbidden door is used in combination with qi and talismans to curb ghosts, poisonous insects and beasts, and drive away diseases. Forbidden spells generally consume a lot of energy from the user, or can cause great damage or even death to the user, but they are super destructive.
According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty and the Biography of Fangshu, Xu Deng and Zhao Bingshan Yue Fang (i.e., forbidden techniques), Xu Deng used qi to "ban the stream water, and the water does not flow; Bing repeatedly forbids dead trees, and trees are born of wattles", and other strange things such as banning fire and tigers.
Ge Hong's "Hug Puzi Inner Chapter: Zhili" also remembers it, but Zhao Bing is Zhao Ming, saying that Zuo Ci, Zhao Ming and others can use qi to ban water, fire, boiling soup, blowing nails into wood, etc.
Forbidden techniques can be greatly divided into two categories: "qi forbidden" and "curse forbidden". Cultivating to the extreme is no different from an earth immortal, and it can be cast thousands of miles away, and everything in the world is endless.

The Cold Ice Palace is actually a huge cold ice coffin, and when the life limit is approaching, the palace masters of the past dynasties will use forbidden techniques to ban themselves and hide them in the Cold Ice Palace, and wait until the descendants of the Chenglu Palace understand the method of prolonging life or the art of immortality, and then unseal these palace masters.
When saying this, Tang Yifeng pointed to a circle of igloos in the palace and said: "These igloos are the places where the palace masters of the past dynasties have sealed. β
We were all attracted by what he said, and we had long forgotten to visit the layout of the Ice Palace, only to find that we had come to the end of the Ice Palace.
This side of the palace is in a ring, and on this semicircular wall, there are a total of thirty-six igloos, only the innermost dozen igloos are all closed, and the others are semi-enclosed, and there is nothing inside.
According to Tang Yifeng, the number of thirty-six igloos is taken from the number of thirty-six Tiangang, and he warned future generations that if by the time of the thirty-sixth generation of palace masters, they have not yet understood the law of immortality, they must stop studying and dissolve the Chenglu Palace, which means that the will of heaven is difficult to violate.
These fourteen igloos are the dwellings of the palace masters of the past dynasties, and he took us to salute them one by one. I have a deep respect for these predecessors, and at the same time, I have a strong interest in this mysterious forbidden door.
After paying homage to the palace masters of the past dynasties, Tang Yifeng took us out of the main hall and came to the square where the Chenglu plate was located, and began to introduce us to the origin of the Chenglu plate.
Sure enough, as Li Dong said before, this Chenglu plate is the one that Emperor Wei Ming moved from the front of Jianzhang Palace. During the reign of Emperor Wei Ming, although the official of the secret blessing had long been abolished, the emperor's pursuit of immortality never gave up.
The Dongfang family still served the emperor at this time, and the contemporary patriarch found the blessed land in the Shenlong Frame, and after Emperor Ming of Wei Ming, he was secretly sent to the Shenlong Frame, and took it away together with the Chenglu Plate that was being relocated, and it was said that the Tongxian Chenglu Plate had been damaged.
Later, the Wei Dynasty was usurped by Sima Yan and changed the name of the country to Jin. So far, the Oriental family, together with the Chenglu plate, has completely disappeared in the long river of history.
β¦β¦
Chenglu Pan has always been valued by the emperor, until it was brought here, and the palace was built in the name of Chenglu, could this mysterious forbidden door really be able to refine the elixir?
Thinking of this, I couldn't help asking, "Brother Tang, is there really an elixir of life in this world?" β
Tang Yifeng smiled and said, "If this is the case, will the palace masters of Chenglu Palace still lie in the Cold Ice Palace?" β
I'm right when I think about it, aren't those palace masters the best proof.
Tang Yifeng then said: "However, immortality is everyone's dream, and countless colleagues also take it as the ultimate goal, and Chenglu Palace has also been committed to research in this area, although it is far from the goal of immortality, but it has made great achievements in the method of prolonging life. It's just that there are some things that can't be mentioned to outsiders. β
Later, Tang Yifeng told us some secrets, which again started with his disappearance seven years ago......
When Tang Yifeng was young, he liked to explore the secrets, and when he heard the legend of the Crystal Heavenly Palace, he came to Shennongjia from the capital. But after several failed explorations, he settled in Longwo Village, where he met his little mother, and the two fell in love at first sight and soon became a couple.
In the following years, Tang Yifeng still did not give up the search for the Ice Cave Mountain, but it was always in vain, when he was seven years old, he came to the vicinity of the Ice Cave Mountain again to search, this time he never returned.
He followed the route he had taken to find the mysterious area, and although he had often lost his way in the vicinity before, he had not encountered any danger. But this time there was an accident, he accidentally stepped on a white-headed viper and was bitten. Then, he quickly fainted to the ground......
