123 Iron Man is born
The night passed quickly, and soon it was time to decide the fate, but the progress bar on the computer was still walking unhurriedly, and beads of sweat broke out on Tony's and Ethan's heads at the same time.
"Here they are." As soon as Ethan's trembling voice finished speaking, there was a soft bang outside the cell door, and two guards who were routinely checking tried to come in and inspect it, only to touch Tony's pre-set mechanism, and with a loud roar, the billowing flames pushed their bodies far away with a wave of hot air, falling back to the ground like two discarded rag dolls.
When the bandits in the monitoring room saw the screen turn into a snowflake and heard the movement inside, they immediately took up their weapons and poured out like ants that had blown up their nests.
"Time is running out, I'm going to buy more time." Hearing the sound of dense footsteps coming from far and near, Ethan picked up the gun dropped by the guard and headed outside.
"It's on plan, Ethan." Tony had just put on his armor, and the driver had not yet fully completed his progress, when he saw Ethan running out and shouting quickly, but there was no reply, Ethan's footsteps were muffled by gunshots, and then the sound became farther and farther away.
Now Tony is on his own. In anxious waiting, progress finally came to an end, and with the effect of the Driver Being, the light disappeared for a second, and then the reactor was lit up again in the dark cell.
Putting down his mask, Tony rushed out impatiently, he was worried about the misfortune that had happened to the brave man, and the more anxious he became when he remembered the kindness and friendship of these days, and kept knocking down the roadblocks along the way, and finally at the entrance of the cave, he saw Ethan lying on the ground talking to a stranger.
"Ethan, you should go according to plan." Tony pounced, flipped Ethan's body and checked it, and now there was no problem.
"Tap Tony, you need to know that planning can't eliminate accidents." Ethan's legs were a little weak after being frightened, but Tony's reckless movements hurt his bones, and he just shot the bandits all the way outside. When he walked to the entrance of the cave, he was surrounded by enemies, and he thought he was going to lose his life, but a man came in from outside to save him.
"It's this gentleman, he actually stopped the bullets that were being fired at me, Tony, you don't know how amazing that scene is, if you see it, you will jump in fright, it only took him a second to make Newton's mechanics theorem out of place." Ethan pointed to the savior, who leaned slightly to the side, and by the light through the hole, Tony recognized the man. Thinking of his identity, he suddenly relaxed.
Thanks to Obadi, he finally didn't forget his old buddy - Tony thought silently in his heart, he knew about Eric's agreement with Spaceflight, and he knew some of the things that Obadi's had done in private, but he never said it explicitly, compared to those he thought were precious, Tony. Stark didn't really care about these things outside of him.
"What's your name, Eric, or Arica. I remember we met once, and it made me think where it was...... I remembered that at the Vanity Fair anniversary party, you were the reporter who chased me for an interview. So you came all the way to ask me for an interview? Tony tapped his fingers on his head, making two muffled noises from the metal shell, pretending he couldn't remember where he had seen him, in an attempt to confuse his origins. This is reserved from Playboy. In fact, Eric took it as an immature appearance, and he laughed it off.
"At a cocktail party in Osborne." Eric, and then teased the pretending guy. "Mr. Stark. Every time I see you, you have a different identity, the first time is by the creek in Westchester, that time you are a wandering painter who accosted a strange woman, the last time you appeared at the drinking party, you were an angel investor who cares about the growth of artists of the opposite sex, and what is this time, a silicon-based creature from outer space, guided by fate, deliberately crossed the galaxy far away to save half of the earth's population? ”
"It's 100 percent ridiculous, I never cared about art." Tony's face couldn't hold back, and he flatly denied that there had been anything that had happened. "As for today, I'm actually experiencing the exotic scenery described in the Thousand and One Nights, and the outside is just extras that I hired, and although these guys have lame acting skills, I would say that they are still willing to work hard."
"Including this?" Eric pointed to his chest, where the famous original reactor was in its proper place.
"Of course." Tony was adamant.
"Okay, whatever you want." Eric laughed, Ethan had recovered and got up from the ground, he wanted to continue to defend himself with the scary gun, but he looked at Eric and Tony, and the gangsters outside who were shouting wildly but didn't dare to rush in and venture again, so he put the steel weapon back with limited power.
"Pepper has asked me to come here to find you, and now that the mission is complete, I would like to ask Mr. Stark if you are at your best at this time, and there are people waiting for your news six thousand two hundred miles away."
"Pepper?" Tony repeated the name that seemed to smell fragrant, and although he had often missed the woman he had been with for a long time these days, he was still a little surprised when he heard the name.
A faint resentment ensued.
"Not Obadi?" He accentuated his tone. "Not your loyal ally?"
For his question, Eric smiled faintly, reading the pity inside, Tony's broad forehead was quickly covered with a layer of haze, but he didn't want to show it in front of Eric, so he pretended that those troublesome things were not there.
"Poor Pepper, I don't know how much effort it took to get this guy, but luckily I need him now." The anger dissipated and was replaced by sweetness and gratitude. Tony subconsciously touched his heart, there were still many gadgets in his fragile body under the steel armor that needed to be cleaned up, he didn't say more, and whispered to himself in a subtle and indistinguishable tone, and then looked up again and raised his voice.
"Awesome, I'm going to give you a good review!" Stark clapped his hands as if to express encouragement. "I'll get Miss Potts to write you a check when I go back, and I'm sure Stark's generosity can come out through a series of perfect tables after the guò digits."
"No, she promised to pay me better." Eric smiled.
"What is it?" Tony asked.
"A kiss, is that okay?" Eric's words nearly choked Tony in anger, and it took him a moment to react.
"Fantasies are immoral." Stark's counterattack ensued immediately, and now he completely forgot about the fragments in his body.
"So can you meet my requirements?" Eric asked tightly.
"To Tony. Stark, money isn't a problem – but you don't have to mention anything else. "It's okay to mention anything else, just don't mention Pepper. Eric could read what the other was saying, but he didn't have that kind of idea in the first place, and now he was taking what he needed.
"What about the fate of a man?" He meant something, but Tony didn't care.
"Ever since my father left me, all I have cared about is the rib that God has taken from us." Proudly holding his head high, Tony cocked his pretty mustache triumphantly.
"Then there will be no problem, Mr. Stark, and good luck." Eric gave him the way out of the cavern, and now Iron Man could finally show his skills.
The bandits outside have long been on guard, and the situation inside is unknown. They did not dare to rush in, so they set up shoulder-mounted missile and machine-gun positions outside, and now that they saw a tin man coming out of the cave, these murderous professional scoundrels did not hesitate to be surprised, and immediately shot out the ammunition.
The dust and smoke billowed from the earth-shattering explosion, and the ground shook incessantly, and before the smoke dissipated, the tin man walked out of the fire that had not completely receded.
The bandits were dumbfounded, and they spoke their dialects like fools. Before they could react, Tony arched slightly and aimed the two tubes behind his steel arm at them.
"It's my turn." As he spoke, two flames erupted. The bandits were burned to the ground, and they dropped their weapons and fled in all directions, crying and screaming.
"Aren't you going to help him?" The moment when he rushed out to help Tony buy time was the bravest time Ethan's life, but after the crisis passed, his courage quickly faded. Now he is secretly hiding behind Eric and looking outside, in his opinion, although the iron armor is powerful, it is shoddy after all. Ethan is worried that Tony will suddenly run into trouble and be picked up by someone who will take advantage of the opportunity.
"Don't worry." Eric glanced into a corner of the cavern, where a figure was trying to raise a weapon against their back. 'It's a great moment for him, we just have to smile and watch.'
There was something cold about his smile, and the bald commander in the corner shuddered and fell back on, now undisturbed to watch Tony's performance.
Two orange lines of fire swept through the air, and with the rapid spread of the wind, there were no warehouses in this arid and rainless place, and a large number of Stark's munitions were piled up directly under a simple shed made of animal leather not far away.
The flames fell on the munitions box, and the fire grew bigger and bigger, and the orange-red line of fire on it was still spraying like a storm, and the fireballs jumped from one place to another, and finally formed a sea of scorching heat with a temperature of nearly 1,000 degrees.
The sound of explosions was overwhelming, red waves appeared from time to time in the sea of fire, every time this spectacle appeared, Tony felt that the shame in his heart disappeared again, the bandits were not willing to fail, some of them had already run away, and now they turned back and fired wildly at him with their heavy weapons, and for a time the majestic Iron Man was also suppressed, and his fragile leg joints were injured, Tony bent down in the face of the attack, and it took several times to recover his function.
At this moment, the largest wave of ammunition detonation began, and the earth shook violently, as if a demon was about to emerge from the magma in the center of the earth. With his feet in the blinding flames and thick black smoke, Tony narrowly avoided the center of the explosion and rose into the sky, where the rudimentary steel armor finally finished its short life and fell from the sky with the panicked owner and the wreckage of himself.
The ground spun sharply, getting closer and closer to Tony, and a force held him up in the midst of the screams.
"Have fun?" Eric slowly withdrew his hand, and Tony returned to the canvas.
"It's beautiful." Settled, Tony replied. (To be continued!)
