Chapter Eighty-Four: Stone Arch City

This was the heart of the Akaza Mountains, and Connor threw down the package he was slung over his shoulder. Pulling out Qingyue, his body moved, and he slashed at the mountain not far in front of him, with Qingyue's sharpness and Connor's body, it was effortless to face such a solid stone.

With a cup of tea, Connor had cut down miles deep into the mountain. A cave was dug out, and Connor was in a short time playing the role of a miner.

It didn't take long for Connor to leap out of the cave, only now he had two more packages in his hands. That's right! It's the half of the meteorite in the package.

Connor picked up the other two packages that he had just thrown away, these four packages seemed unusually heavy to ordinary people, but they were as if they were nothing in Connor's hands.

He glanced in the direction of the Demon Refining Valley, but as soon as he turned around, his body turned into an afterimage and disappeared into the Akaza Mountains.

It wasn't long before Connor was running over a field, not at the speed of light, just as fast as a normal locomotive flying, with a long wave of air behind him.

Looking at the direction he is running, it is the heart of Bac Ninh.

Connor thought about something as he ran:

I have run for nearly a thousand miles, and everywhere I see is wilderness, which shows the vast area of the North Continent. Hokuriku is only one of the four continents of Avendire, and although Hokuriku is the largest of the four continents, the other continents are not small. With such a vast planet of Avendire, the living area is still considerable, but why do the four major groups continue to fight each other for this?

Although the other continents have all built metropolises that cover almost the entire continent, the virus will attack and the city will be destroyed, and it will not end up in a cruel situation of cannibalism.

It didn't take long for Connor to be stunned by what he saw, and although Nissa had an overview of the entire continent in his memory, when Connor saw it himself, he couldn't help but lose his color.

Not far from Connor's feet, there were endless steel wreckage, high-rise wreckage, broken bridges, and broken walls, which were the abandoned steel giants of Hokuriku.

Moss of various sizes grew on top of all the buildings, and they were very old. Connor leaped to the top of a statue about a thousand feet tall, rusted all over and looking ready to collapse. This is a powerful man in Hokuriku who cherishes the sun, but now it is just a testimony of this ruined city.

Connor stood on top of the statue and looked out, finally realizing something. The virus cannot destroy the high-rise buildings, and the reason why this giant city has become the ruined scene it is today is all due to the war. Shell craters of all sizes are everywhere, and it is these that have ruined the city! The glory of the past is gone, only a memory of the past and a ruin remains.

It was already afternoon, and Connor had no intention of continuing on his way. He found a house in a reclining building, ate some dry food in the corner of the house, and closed his eyes. He wasn't very tired, but he always felt uncomfortable traveling at night, and the nights in Hokuriku were not safe.

Early the next morning, Connor did not dare to delay any longer, and continued his journey to the heart of the North Continent. This giant city seemed to have no bounds, even if he was thousands of miles away, he still couldn't get out of this huge city, and he could occasionally meet some aliens gathered in the ruined city to fight stubbornly against the ruins.

However, Connor didn't want to provoke these aliens, they were so hungry that "he didn't want to hurt anyone, and he didn't want to hurt them"!

This giant city that can't go beyond the edge is a super giant city covering the entire Hokuriku, but no matter how big the giant city is, it can't get rid of the fate of "death"!

After a few days, Connor finally saw some inhabited cities in the ruins, and the cities in these ruins were not small, no matter how small they were, they were not comparable to the city of Crow Beach. These cities weren't Connor's vision. God knows if such a small town will one day be reduced to ashes in the flames of war.

After a few more days, Connor looked at the positioning device on his wrist, and finally approached the group headquarters. A large number of aircraft and hovering locomotives continued to appear in the air, as well as heavy armor and chariots with heavy bodies whizzing overhead.

In this way, Connor also slowed down his travel, but as soon as Connor walked out of the ruins of the giant city on the second day, he saw a huge city shrouded in a transparent light curtain, which seemed to cover the sky and the sun as far as the eye could see.

In the center of the light curtain, a very tall building can be faintly seen, this building seems to be a huge stick supporting the entire light curtain, and any building looks extremely short in front of it. Connor couldn't help but admire:

"This is Shipai City, one of the largest cities in Bac Ninh, and it is really under the protection of sentries all the time!"

Shipai City is only 10,000 miles away from Canossa, the main city of the group, and once the war breaks out here, Canossa will inevitably come to the rescue. Stonepai City is a safe place, and that's what Connor had in mind.

Connor thought to himself, slowing his pace as if he were a normal human walking. He didn't want strangers to know how fast he was, and as he reached in front of the light curtain, Connor reached out and lightly touched the light curtain.

Suddenly, the light curtain rippled like water waves, and one of his hands reached directly into it, and Connor looked at his palm through the light curtain. After a moment, he slowly walked into the light curtain, and he curiously watched the light curtain pass over his body like water waves, which seemed very magical.

"This energy can't withstand physical attacks, presumably only against light weapons, but that's enough. If you use the Sentinel's energy at any time and anywhere, this cost is not affordable for anyone! Connor walked into the light curtain and thought to himself.

Although light weapons cannot be actively intercepted, physical shells can be achieved through anti-ballistic and anti-missile systems, which is much more cost-effective than using the full energy of the sentry.

At the same time, there were also many passers-by who entered the sentry of Shipai City by light curtain of locomotives or chariots.

Not long after passing through the light curtain, a checkpoint appeared on the road that had to be passed before Connor.

A soldier watched as Connor was carrying a stick-like package wrapped in black cloth, with two packages hanging from his hands and shoulders, his hair unkempt and his face covered in dirt! One look at this shape shows that it must have fled from another city. It's no wonder that Connor has been sleeping in the open for nearly half a month.

"Please show your ID!" A guard officer at the checkpoint holds out his palm to the forbidden road. The soldier was wearing a helmet and couldn't see any expression, and it wasn't uncommon for Connor to look like that.

And those who had documents directly flashed their documents and went directly into the city.

"Sorry, I don't have any papers!" Connor hurriedly said apologetically in a tired voice, which made people feel a little sympathy, even though compassion was extinct.

"Undocumented? Name? The soldier didn't express much surprise, as if it were just a normal thing.

"O. Connor Nisa!" Connor said unabashedly.

Connor didn't care at all about his real name, and Hokuriku was originally a mixed race. There are not a few people who have the same name and surname, not to mention that he is not the real O. Connor Nisa.

"O. Connor Nisa! All right! The soldier repeated.

The soldier then removed a glass-shaped card and a small scanner from his body. He inserted the card into the scanner, tapped something on the scanner's touchscreen, and asked in a cautionary tone:

"What rank of samurai? Please speak up, otherwise it will be very bad! ”

"I haven't practiced energy yet!" Connor said truthfully.

"Stepless? If there is a war in the stone tablet, will you help one or two? The soldier tapped the touchscreen a few more times and entered some information.

"Of course! The stone card is in difficulty, as a member of the stone card, it must live and die with the stone card! Connor affirmed.

If it is another person, I am afraid that I will have to think about three or four, but Connor is confident that although he has no energy, he has power that others cannot match, but this stone tablet is located in the core of Bac Ninh, how can there be a war lightly. And even if there were, it was from the air.

And as far as Connor knew, once a war broke out in a city, participating in the war as a non-city soldier was a mercenary. I don't know about other groups, but in Bac Ninh, the price of mercenaries is still not low. As a mercenary,
