Chapter 404: Back to the Beginning
Hurry up and warm up for a moment, Mary. Jane was still worried, "Are you alright, sweetheart?" I don't think you're too tired. "Not so well, Mary. Jane, I'm worried about you, and Aunt May. Peter told the truth.
"Well, that begs the question, how many troubles do we have to get involved in? I mean, you've revealed your identity to the government, so it's not like you're going to turn your back on Tony and hide yourself in that regard. β
Mary. Jane didn't understand why Peter had resolutely said goodbye to Iron Man after registering his identity.
She tried to guess, "And the only chance that you're going to break the law is to assume that you deliberately want to fight Tony and the whole Superhero Registration Act, and if you want to try to help, the other superheroes who refuse to register the law." β
Peter was a little melancholy silent as he listened to Mary. Jane spoke: "You've got yourself involved, haven't you?" I know you will, just as you know I'll stand firmly on your side. β
Peter shook his head and said in a deep voice, "I haven't participated in the real civil war yet, so I'm only now ready to enter, Mary. Simple. Tony was wrong, I was wrong, and I had to do everything I could to make up for the mistakes I made. If that meant I was going to war with Tony, that's what I had to do. That's why I thought it would be a good idea for you to take the money and fly away until things settle down. β
Mary. Jane said in a trembling voice: "Peter"
"Hear me out, Mary. Simple. "Peter was rare in Mary. Jane was domineering in front of him, and then he said, "If you stay in Washington." In the end, you will have no choice but to go into exile with me. Hide and hide. With different pseudonyms. Staying in the most run-down little hotel was quite stressful. Especially for Aunt Mei, and you know what I'm worried about. β
Peter reassured, "I'm not the only one here, I'm with Ymir and the rest of my friends. I'm on the front lines, and knowing you're in a safe place, I can move faster and do more. For both of you. This is the best plan, especially for Aunt Mei. The whole mess has my share of responsibility, so I have an obligation too, and I have to work with my partners."
"Excuse me" just when Peter almost convinced Mary. When Jane nodded, Aunt May appeared at the door, where she had been listening quietly for a long time, "Don't you think I have a say in this matter, Peter?" β
Peter was a little surprised, but he didn't expect that the movement of himself and Ymir coming back still woke up Aunt May. He hurriedly said, "Aunt Mei, I"
Aunt Mei's kind eyes. Now that it had become a little strict, she said, "I think." I'm not done yet, Peter! β
"Okay, Aunt May." Peter had no choice but to back down.
"You say you are responsible for the situation, and that may be true, but it is no more than me and Mary. Jane more. At the beginning of the whole thing, you wanted to give up and leave, and we persuaded you to face it head-on. β
Aunt May walked in slowly and continued, "If you feel that you should be held responsible, then Mary and I. Jane has the same thing. And if we are all responsible for this bad decision, then we must share the consequences. β
"Do you know what life is, Peter, what it is?" Aunt Mei asked suddenly.
The sudden question made Peter a little confused for a while, and he tentatively said, "Is it a doughnut, because I know a great joke about why life is a doughnut, and the hole in the middle represents"
"Not a donut." Aunt Mei shook her head and said, "In the most inevitable difficult moments, we can persevere from them, just because of the happy times in life. And you're that happy time, and that New Yorkers are happy with you. And now, it's the inevitable hard times in life. As long as we can take care of these things, we can get to the other side of the shore where more happy times await us. β
"I don't want to interrupt your conversation, but I think what you want to express Aunt Mei means is: The sea of suffering is boundless, and after it passes, is it the other side?" Ymir poked in from outside the door and made sure Peter and Mary. Jane was just talking, and then she dodged through the wall and walked in.
Aunt Mei looked at Ymir, smiled kindly, and nodded, "That's pretty much it." β
Peter interjected, "But my donut joke is much funnier than this." β
"I'm sure it will, Peter." Aunt May nodded and turned away, rummaged through the salute she was carrying, and then took out a cloth bag and put it in front of Peter's eyes: "Speaking of which, when we came to Washington from New York, I brought you this, and I think you'll use it." β
Peter craned his neck curiously and asked, "Is it silverware, we may be able to exchange it for some valuable cash so that you can return to New York more comfortably." Aunt Mei shook her head and said, "No, it's a better thing." β
She is the one who knows Peter best in the world. Parker: "I know you're concerned about the safety of the Iron Spider suit that Tony gave you right now, so I think you'll need it, as the Urchins sing - ditch your old clothes and get back on your way!" β
"Yes, get rid of your old clothes and get back on the road," Peter took the bag from Aunt May's hand, and it contained his most precious treasure: "Like the naughty band sings, with their ducktail hairstyles, tufts, and hula hoops." β
Taking out the classic Spider-Man suit from the cloth bag, and gently stroking the red and blue grid on it, Peter's eyes became more determined. He's got his way and he's ready to fight: "As the lyrics of the Urchins say, let's get started!" β
Iron Spider-Man is a thing of the past, and the good neighbors of New Yorkers are back.
After a big detour, Spider-Man is back again, and all the chiΔ are back to the starting point. So now the question is, as before, where should Spider-Man go and what should he do?
Now that he knows that Iron Man is doing something stupid that is not right, then Spider-Man should stop him. So Peter feels that the first thing he needs to do now is to launch a counterattack against Iron Man, and clarify and make up for some of his past mistakes (to be continued......
