Chapter 42: The Conspiracy of the Santarim Society
"Apostle No. 70053, your Black Iron team intercepted the secret letter of the Santarin Society, triggering the story mission - the conspiracy of the Santarin Society."
"Apostle 70053, since you have already come into contact with the main leader of the Silvermoon Alliance, Emily Silverhand, a descendant of Erastro, in the course of the last Atlas mission, you are qualified to intervene in the mission of the founding of the Silvermoon Alliance, which will be incorporated into the large-scale epic plot - the Silvermoon Federation."
Introduction to the Silvermoon Alliance: In the year 1033 of the Valley Era, the cities of Adeba, Fort Felba, Dead Snow Town, Evolund, Queerva, Silvermoon City and Sandaba concluded an alliance of city-states with Silvermoon City as the political center, known as the Silvermoon Alliance.
At the beginning of its founding, the Silver Moon Alliance was a relatively loose alliance of city-states. However, after almost 500 years of development, the entire Union has now become a huge giant in the North.
This region was once home to the ancient Elven empire of Yerlan, centered on the Supreme Forest, and was also ruled by the Sannata Dwarves and the Nexa Empire of humans.
The territory of the Silvermoon Alliance is larger than all of them, stretching west to the Endless Sea and north to the Spine of the World, befriending the shield dwarves of Icewind Dale. To the south it is the Supreme Forest, and to the east it is deep into the Enoeoc Desert.
If you pass through the black road in the middle of the GuΓ² Enok Desert, then you will be connected to the most important trade and political center in the northern part of the continent of Faerun, the Sea of the Moon region.
On the south shore of the Moon Sea is the Sun Elves of Komanso, and on the north shore is the Fort of Santil, the headquarters of the Santarin Society.
The Silvermoon Alliance connects colonies and city-states that have existed in different eras with a policy of racial tolerance, where humans, dwarves, elves, half-elves, halflings, gnomes, and even orc tribes can join.
In fact, it has a certain rivalry with both the Santarim and the Komansori Elves, and when the Komanso Elves move to Eternal Island, it has only one enemy left, and that is the Santarim Society, a dark organization entrenched in the north of the Moon Sea.
Today, the city-states of the Silvermoon Alliance have become more and more united, and they have not only formed a council of lords led by the lord of Silvermoon, Erastro, but also intends to further transform the city-state alliance into a unified state, the Silvermoon Federation.
If the Silver Moon Alliance is already a confidant of the Santarin Society, then when it becomes a federal state, the Santarin Society, which has been plagued by the continent for hundreds of years, will face strong military pressure from this natural enemy.
[The conspiracy of the Santarin Society (the difficulty of the mission cannot be calculated): In order to eliminate the potential threat in infancy, the Santarin Society used their usual tricks. At the celebration of the Silver Moon Alliance half a month later, they will use the Necro Flower Poison to assassinate the members of the Council of Lords led by Erastro, destroying the mutual trust and covenant between the various city-states of the Silver Moon Alliance, and shattering the Alliance's efforts to form a unified nation.
Objective: The Apostle has two interaction options when performing this mission. One is to join the conspiracy of the Santarim Society and assist in its assassination plan. The second is to join the Silvermoon Alliance and sabotage the assassination plan of the Santarin Society.
Quest rewards: Awarded based on the Apostle's contribution to this mission, the stay time will be increased to one natural month. As soon as Apostle 70053's Black Iron team leaves the range of Troll's Claw territory, the countdown will begin immediately.
Important Note 1: Apostle 70053 is unable to join the conspiracy of the Santarim Society due to his plot status, and can only carry out the second mission objective.
Important Note 2: This mission may save the zΓ i competition apostle team, and the team battle between the two sides is in the killing mode, and there is a certain chance of dropping the Bloody Rubik's Cube. γ
Qin Lun quickly skimmed past the mission introduction, turned his head to Mastasya, and asked, "Is there a plant called the Dead Soul Flower that grows in the Land of Death?" β
"Necro Flower?!" The Highland Elves seemed taken aback, "The Necro Flower is not a plant, did you read the Necro Flower in the secret letter of the Santarin Society?" Did you crack this secret letter? β
"I once looked at the 'Chronology of the Solo Continent', and according to the rules you deciphered, I translated some more words." Qin Lun lied without changing his face.
He didn't know what the "Chronology of the Solo Continent" was, but he couldn't explain to Mastassia what an apostolic mission was. Anyway, it was impossible for the Highland Elves to let him recite the "Chronology of the Solo Continent" again, and this lie was almost flawless.
"Let me see again!" Mastasia smashed his hand and snatched the secret letter, and carefully scanned it again, finding the decipherment code of the Dead Soul Flower from his memory, "Yes, this does mention the Dead Soul Flower!" β
The expression of the highland elf was a little melancholy, and he hesitated and said: "The Dead Soul Flower is not a plant, but the crystallization of a dead soul, which looks a bit like a flower, so it is called the Dead Soul Flower." This kind of thing can only be seen in cemeteries, or ancient battlefields. β
"Does this thing do anything?" Rand knowingly guided Mastasia's train of thought.
"Because it is the condensation of the souls of the dead, the Necro Flower is considered a hoodoo by most legal professions, and almost no one uses this kind of thing except for necromancers and lichs." This time, the person who interfaced was not Mastasya, but the dragon vein mage Linda.
Her expression was also a little worried, "The Dead Soul Flower is an alchemy material that can make a variety of soul and spirit medicines, but if it is a dark organization like the Santarin Society, they can only make one kind of thing - Dead Soul Flower Poison!" β
"If it's the Necro Flower Poison, then they're used to assassinate some big guy!" Mastasia's face changed, and he exclaimed, "Half a month from now, it will be the celebration day of the Silver Moon Alliance, do they want to assassinate the Lord of Silvermoon City, Erasdra Silverhand?" β
Qin Lun and Rand quietly exchanged a look, they only needed to guide here. As a harpist who balances the continent of Faeron, Mastasia will naturally intervene in this epic plot, and they just need to follow the trend.
"No, I'm going to do my best to pass the news on to my fellow harpists in the Northland!" Mastassia looked a little excited, and his hand holding the secret letter began to tremble slightly.
"Don't be so nervous, isn't Santarin's operation to enter the Land of the Dead to find the Dead Soul Flower this time already a failure?" Elistine, who had been listening to it for a long time, interjected and asked.
"No, will Santarin put their eggs in one basket, with their manpower, they will definitely look for the Dead Soul Flower in other places, and there is more than one ancient battlefield on the continent." Mastasha bit her lip and shook her head sternly.
"Is the Necro Flower Poison very powerful, is there an antidote?" Qin Lun asked softly to Linda.
"There is no antidote to the Necrocyte Flower Poison, because it is not a poison in nature, but a soul reagent that has the effect of polluting the souls of the living." Linda smiled bitterly and said, "If you are poisoned by this poison, the living will not necessarily die, but they will not have their intelligence, just like the living dead." Moreover, it is colorless and odorless, so it is difficult to prevent it in advance. It is said that even the gods will be tricked, and the vicious Cheng dΓΉ is at least among the top three of all alchemical poisons. β
"Oh......" Qin Lun and Rand looked at each other speechlessly. If this vicious alchemy reagent is really so powerful, even a few of their apostles have to be extremely careful, this is not something that can be saved.
"Ferrar, this matter has nothing to do with you, when the troll's claw is out, you and Elistin will go directly back to the Anker Elven Court!" Mastasya's expression was a little complicated, and after this incident, her original plan had to be put down first.
"Hehe, the things related to the Santarin Society are naturally related to me." A cold light flashed in Qin Lun's eyes, and he said with a sneer, "I still have an account to settle with them!" β
The other person on the raft also quickly learned about this matter, but Sifer and Mason Butler didn't care, they didn't care about the Silver Moon Alliance in the far north, and this matter was not something that ordinary people could participate in.
The trio of Piercing Blood is a little flickering, the Silver Moon Alliance is far away in the Northlands, and no matter how it changes, it has nothing to do with their lives. The only thing that can't be lost is that they and Qin Lun and the others are also companions who have experienced life and death together at this time, and they can't refuse in person.
For the rest of the journey, everyone was a little silent, each thinking about their own thoughts. However, Hill and Rand were a little excited, rescuing Elistin was two murderous demons who were hindered by Qin Lun's feelings, and their purpose in entering the world of Torrell was only an epic plot.
However, there was one more problem before the three apostles. If they are able to escape the troll's claws next, they will be approaching the northern border of the Baldur's Gate region. It's just that there are almost thousands of miles from the Silver Moon Alliance in the Northland, and the way is full of dangers, and it may not take half a month to catch up with the Silver Moon Celebration Day.
"Qin Lun, how long did it take you to come to Baldur's Gate from the Jondar Forest last time? This time it's less than a third of the way we traveled, so do you think we'll be able to catch up? Hill asked cautiously in the team channel.
"If there are no moths on the way, the time is about the right time. It's just that after we arrive, we still need a certain amount of time to scout the Santalin Society lurking in the dark, in this case, it will definitely be too late! Qin Lun thought for a while and said, "We must use external forces, it would be better if we could have a long-distance teleportation array or a flying mount to travel." β
"The Harpists League of Mastassia is a big organization, can you figure out a way from her?" Rand asked cautiously.
"The Harpist League is different from what you think, they are more like a group of Robin Hood who fight alone, and they are not at the same level as the Santarin Society in terms of resource integration." Qin Lun shook his head and narrowed his eyes slightly, "However, I think the other person may have some way."
"You mean that little girl, Dragon Vein Mage Linda!" Hill immediately understood.
"Well, the mages of the world of Torrell are very wealthy, and most of them have one or two telecommunication devices or teleportation circles in their hands." Qin Lun said with a smile, "It's just that this matter can't be mentioned by us, otherwise it will arouse her suspicion." I think Mastassia will bring it up automatically, depending on whether the little girl has a good opinion of the Harpists' League. β
