Sir Run Run Shaw, the Honourable Bauhinia, CBE (SirRunShaw, November 19, 1907 - January 7, 2014), formerly known as Shaw Renleng, known as Shaw, was a well-known Hong Kong filmmaker, entertainment tycoon, and philanthropist, born in Zhenhai, Ningbo, Zhejiang, in the Qing Dynasty, and his father was Shao Xingyin, the owner of Shanghai Jintaichang Pigment Company.

Among the eight brothers and sisters of the Shao family, he ranked sixth, and was called "Shao Lao Liu" in the old Shanghai era, and was honored as "Sixth Uncle" after coming to Hong Kong.
