Chapter 37: The Temple of Phaselessness

And sure enough, it was! Mo Beitian's heart was excited. Now that the clues Paul left for him have been solved, the next thing to do is to connect these clues and find the answer to this zuihou.

Xiao Xiao saw Mo Beitian with a smile on his face and asked, "Brother Mo, what's wrong with you?" ”

"Not really. Let's hurry up. This is not a place to stay for long. ”

Several people are on the same page. They continued along the path inside the stone gate. The surrounding scene changed again. Outside the stone gate is a cave structure, and the puzzling frescoes are carved into the rock, while there are also many frescoes on the path that are painted on the brick walls with dye. The content of these painted murals is different from the stone murals outside, and the scenes on them are mostly bloody.

The first painting depicts a number of skeletons. They are immersed in the sea of learning, struggling and begging, but they don't know why they are struggling or what they are begging for. The shores of the sea of blood were filled with imps of all stripes of hideous and terrifying faces, glaring at the skeletons with weapons in hand.

The second picture depicts people with small heads and large bellies. They have slender limbs, yellow faces and thin muscles, and extremely dull eyes. These men sat on the ground and scrambled to devour a dead body.

The third painting is relatively simple, with cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, wolves, tigers, leopards and other animals.

The fourth painting depicts a large number of burly men wearing battle armor and carrying a variety of weapons. They all opened their mouths wide as if they were shouting.

The fifth painting depicts four people. These four people look exactly the same, but their expressions are different. The first one grinned and raised his eyebrows, as if he was happy. The second was furious, obviously angry. The third one was dejected and unlucky. Zuihou spreads out on all fours, as if dancing.

The sixth painting depicts fairies in fluttering dresses, flying in groups towards the front, but waiting in front is the bloody hell depicted in the first painting.

Xiao Xiao had never seen such a painting, and she was fascinated for a while while while she walked and looked at it.

Mo Beitian saw her look stupid and smiled: "Girl, you don't even know this, right?" ”

Xiao Xiao shook her head and nodded, and said, "I seem to have seen such a painting when I was a child, but I can't remember it after too long." ”

Mo Beitian said as he continued to hurry, "I also think you should have seen it." It is estimated that everyone has religious beliefs in the original village, and I believe many people have seen Buddhist murals like this. ”

Xiao Xiao blinked: "I've only seen my father and some people in the village worship Buddha, but I haven't really believed in these." But I'm still curious, what do these paintings say? ”

"These are the six realms of reincarnation. It is one of the basic concepts of Buddhism. The so-called six realms refer to the path of hell, the path of hungry ghosts, the path of animals, the path of asura, humanity and the path of heaven. You see, the painting of the blood pool hell and countless skeletons is the hell road. Those who fall into this way will be subjected to countless tortures and tortures. The Hell Path is divided into four hells: Ice, Heat, Near, and Lonely. Each hell is made up of a number of small hells, and it can be said that the most terrifying of the six realms here. Those with small heads and big bellies are hungry ghosts. The beings here are eternally hungry and thirsty, and they will never know food and clothing. Their throats burn when they swallow food, and the pain is exceeding, but the beings here feel the solace of the Dharma. I don't need to explain the beast road, it's the painting of cows and horses. The beings of the animal path are stupid by nature but competitive, they only understand the basic desire to survive but have no trace of humanity. Those who wear armor and hold weapons in their hands are beings of the Shura Path. They are also called non-heavens. Because the sentient beings here are extremely blessed, and their lifespans are very similar to those of the Heavenly Dao. However, they often lost in battles with the Heavenly Dao and endured countless sufferings. We should be most familiar with humanity, that is, the way of our existence. Human life is spent in joy, anger, sorrow, and sorrow, so we are most susceptible to being swayed by feelings and desires, which are the root cause of suffering and sin of all beings, and therefore the suffering we have to endure is also great. zuihou is the heavenly path where those gods, Buddhas and fairies live. The way of heaven is blissful shijie, with supreme power and good fortune. But if the sentient beings here run out of good fortune, they will also fall into the other five realms of reincarnation. Therefore, there is no absolute, only impermanence, only infinite reincarnation in Buddhism. Mo Bitian explained patiently.

Xiao Xiao listened very carefully, although she didn't understand many of them, she still understood them. Brother Mo is right, people live in the world to accept this or that kind of suffering, but in the next life, they don't know where to return to the reincarnation to continue to suffer. Therefore, even if you go through hardships for a while, you must live a wonderful life, otherwise you will hate this life. Xiao Xiao secretly made up her mind in her heart.

Before they knew it, they had been walking along the path for a while. At this time, the road gradually widened. Mo Bitian took out the map and looked at it, and said, "It says that there will be a palace through here." The undersea tunnel is just below the palace. Looks like we're not far from this palace! ”

Mo is right. They walked forward a hundred or so paces, and suddenly their eyes suddenly brightened. I saw a waterhole at the end of the road, and a wooden bridge was built over it. The bridge is not very long, only a dozen meters, but there are all kinds of birds and beasts carved on the bridge. On one side of the bridge is on the shore of a waterhole, and at the other end is connected to a magnificent palace.

A few people walked across the wooden bridge and came to the front of the palace. Looking up, this palace is also an all-wooden structure. There are no signs of welding or chisel on it. This particular architectural style was very popular in the East centuries ago. The whole palace is not only structurally special, but also quite atmospheric. It consists of a main hall and four side halls. The main hall sits on the north and faces south, with red walls and green tiles. There are two on the left and right sides of the side hall, which are very symmetrical. The main hall is divided into three floors, and is one or twenty meters high. Although the side hall has only two floors, it is also seven or eight meters high. The palace was covered with cornices, on which many beasts were poured with gold. They stand in the corner of the temple with rain bells in their mouths, like loyal guards guarding their beloved home. The entire palace sits on a marble foundation, and the steps below the palace are also made of white marble marble. There are a total of 108 steps on this stone staircase, and the bottom one is connected to the wooden bridge.

Mo Zhitian walked up the stone steps and looked up at Xiangshang, only to see a plaque outside the main hall, which was written in gilt: "Wuxiang" two big characters! Mo was shocked for some reason, and a strange and familiar voice suddenly sounded in his ears: "Who are you?" Who are you? Don't forget who you are, don't forget! ”

"Who am I? Who am I? Mo Zhitian stood in place and kept repeating this sentence as if he was obsessed.
