Chapter 18: Trolls!

Harry sniffled, and a foul stench crept into his nostrils, the smell of a smelly sock mixed with a public toilet that was never cleaned. Then they heard a muffled grunt and the sound of huge soles of feet dragging on the ground. On the left, at the end of a passage on the left, a behemoth was moving towards them. They quickly retreated into the darkness and watched as it slowly walked into a patch of moonlight.

It was a horrible sight. It was twelve feet tall, its skin dull and gray as granite, and its massive, dumb body resembled a huge pile of mud with a small head like a cocoa bean. Its short legs are as thick as tree stumps, and underneath are flat, thick, calloused feet. The smell emanating from it was disgusting. It holds a thick wooden stick in its hand, which is dragged on the ground due to its long arms.

The troll stopped at a door and peeked inside. It wiggled its long ears, made a decision with its small head, and then lowered its head and slowly slipped into the room.

"The key is in the keyhole," Harry whispered, "we can lock it inside." ”

"Good idea." Liu Jiecao recited the lines expressionlessly.

They turned sideways towards the open door, and Harry felt his mouth run dry, hoping that the trolls wouldn't come out of nowhere. He strode forward, grabbed the key in his hand, slammed the door into it, and locked it firmly.

"It's done!"

Harry's face flushed with excitement from his win, and he began to run back down the passage, but as soon as he reached the corner, he heard a sound that almost stopped his heart.

A terrible, frightened voice came from the room they had just locked.

"Oh, oops." Liu Jiecao sighed expressionlessly.

"That's the women's restroom!" Harry couldn't even breathe.

"Hermione!" Harry exclaimed.

"Well, it's Hermione!" Liu Jiecao said expressionlessly.

Liu Jiecao acted according to the original plot, and with his strength, he felt that it didn't matter, the troll was really drizzle. Harry really didn't want to go back, but what other choice was there?

Harry jerked around and ran back to the dysentery door. Twist the key, looking clumsy because of nervousness. He pulled the door open, and Liu Jiecao rushed in unhurriedly, following Harry.

Hermione. Granger cowered against the opposite wall, seemingly threatening to faint at any moment. The troll was closing in on her, smashing the pool off the wall as it walked.

"Confuse it!" Harry said to Liu Jiecao in desperation, grabbing a faucet and throwing it at the wall.

The troll stopped a few paces away from Hermione. It was clumsy and she turned around, blinking stupidly, trying to see what the sound was coming from. Its little ugly eyes saw Harry. It hesitated. Then he walked towards Harry, raising his stick in his hand.

"Hey, big idiot!" Liu Jiecao shouted as if he was reciting lines from the other side of the room, and at the same time threw a metal pipe at the troll, his expression relaxed as if he were on an outing.

The troll didn't seem to notice the metal pipe hitting it in the shoulder, but when it heard the shout, it stopped and turned its big ugly nose towards Liu Jiecao, and Harry took the opportunity to circle behind it.

"Come here. Run, run! Harry shouted at Hermione, trying to pull her towards the door, but she couldn't move. Still clinging to the wall, his mouth wide open in horror.

Liu Jiecao sighed, no matter how strong and conceited Hermione was in the usual situation, when facing terrible creatures. Her performance was almost indistinguishable from that of the other girls.

The shouts and echoes seemed to drive the trolls mad. It roared again and began to approach Liu Jiecao.

Liu Jiecao is the closest to the troll, and there seems to be no way out. It seems that Liu Jiecao has really been forced into a corner. He chuckled, but didn't make a move, and looked at Harry calmly. Porter.

Liu Jiecao knew very well that Dumbledore was actually watching here, and the old man was obviously monitoring the entire school, but he didn't take action to stop this troll incident, just to use this process as an opportunity for Harry to exercise.

Liu Jiecao didn't want to steal the limelight, so naturally on the premise of ensuring his own safety, he tried to let Harry express himself like in the original plot.

At this point, Harry did something very brave but very stupid: he jumped forward and put his arms around the troll's neck from behind. The troll wouldn't feel Harry hanging from it, but if you stuck a long log into its nose, the troll wouldn't feel nothing. Harry jumped with his wand in his hand - it plunged straight into one of the troll's nostrils.

The troll roared in pain, writhing and waving the stick in his hand, and Harry held on to it; The troll will throw him off at any moment, then grab him and give him a terrible blow with a stick.

Hermione was stunned and collapsed to the floor. And Liu Jiecao calmly pulled out his wand, he did what he should do instead of Ron in the original plot, and coldly recited a spell: "Yuga Dim Leviosa!" ”

The stick suddenly flew out of the troll's hand, rose high, high into the air, and slowly turned around again—it fell, and struck its master on the head with an earth-shattering thud. The troll swayed in place and fell face down on the floor with a thud that shook the room.

In fact, Liu Jiecao is very suspicious that Ron's move in the original plot completed the hero's rescue of beauty with a critical blow, which made Hermione have more good feelings for Ron, who has always been extremely ordinary, and only then did she have the possibility of the future. And now, Liu Jiecao has personally destroyed all this.

Harry scrambled to his feet. He was trembling and panting. Liu Jiecao deliberately acted nervous, as if his previous calmness was just slow and did not react, this move was not to let Dumbledore focus on himself.

Finally, it was Hermione who spoke first.

She asked, "Is it - dead?" ”

"I don't think so," said Harry, "it was probably just knocked unconscious. ”

He bent down and pulled his wand from the troll's nose, which was stained with a large gray gelatinous substance.

"Phew, troll's nose cow."

He wiped his wand against the troll's pants.

Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door and loud footsteps, and all three people in the room looked up. They didn't realize what a commotion had just happened, it must have been the people downstairs who heard the violent collision and the roar of the trolls.

Moments later, Professor McGonagall burst into the room, followed closely by Snape and Quirrell at the end. Quirrell glanced at the troll before letting out a feeble sob, sitting on a toilet bowl and clutching his chest.

Liu Jiecao secretly gave a thumbs up to Quirrell and secretly said, "What a terrible acting!" ”

Ni Mei, just a troll, almost all professors have the strength to deal with it, is it necessary to pretend to be so outrageous?

No wonder Snape was suspicious of Quirrell, and Dumbledore seemed to know that Quirrell had something wrong from the beginning, so he easily set up a savior trial scenario for Harry.

The reason was simply that Quirrell was too over-the-top and over-the-top, completely forgetting that he was actually a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who was stronger than most adult wizards.

Trolls are creatures, even if they are senior students, and they have a certain ability to deal with them.

You know, in the original plot, there was a triwizard tournament later, and there was a dragon to deal with in it. It was a creature that was far more terrifying than a troll, but it was still arranged for the students to be opponents, and as a result, several students all passed the test.

Obviously, the trolls are weak or something, and Quirrell's performance is simply indescribable.

At this point, Snape stooped down to look at the troll, and he seemed to have seen something unusual at this point, and had a preliminary suspicion of Quirrell.

A troll that even a freshman can deal with, but Quirrell ...... Can this not be doubtful?

What's more, Snape's abilities should be able to see more from the trolls. In the end, it was Quirrell who underestimated Snape and Dumbledore.

Professor McGonagall looked at Liu Jiecao and Harry. Harry had never seen her look so angry. Her lips turned white. The hope of earning fifty points for Gryffindor quickly faded from Harry's mind.

"What the hell are you guys up to?" Professor McGonagall said, with a cold anger in her voice. Harry looked at Liu Jiecao and saw that he was still standing there with his wand held high. "You're lucky not to have been killed by it. Why don't you stay in the dorm honestly? ”

Snape gave Harry a quick and menacing look.

Harry may have thought that Snape's eyes were completely malicious, but Liu Jiecao vaguely sensed Snape's concern. This man cared more about Harry's safety than anyone else, but that didn't stop Snape from hating him as much as he cared about Harry.

Harry dodged the two professors' glances, and just looked at the ground as if there was heaven and earth on the ground.

Liu Jiecao pretended to be nervous, stayed aside and didn't say anything, because it was not necessary.

At this moment, a low voice came from the shadows.

"Please don't do that, Professor McGonagall—they're looking for me."

"Miss Granger!" Professor McGonagall looked at her in disbelief.

Hermione finally struggled to her feet.

"I came to the troll because I - I thought I could deal with it alone - you know, because I read about them in books and know them well." Hermione. Granger lied to a teacher by saying, "If they hadn't gotten to me, I'd be dead by now." Harry stuck his wand into the troll's nostrils, and Liu Jiecao knocked it unconscious with the troll's own wooden stick. They didn't have time to find someone. When they arrived, the trolls were about to devour me in one day. ”

Harry tried his best to pretend that he was already familiar with the story, and Liu Jiecao changed from feigned nervousness to indifference. (To be continued......)
