Since returning from Hogwarts, the Dursleys had been looking at him unpleasantly, and they didn't know how many percentage points had risen.
Or do they desperately want to die outside?
Harry was always cranky sometimes.
All of Harry's belongings were hidden by the Dursleys, though Harry knew they were locked up there.
But the crazy Aunt Dursley would go there every day when he came back to check on the side, and during the day, Aunt Petunia wouldn't let him out at all. Harry was not even allowed to use the toilet on the first floor, and Harry was confined to his small room every day with nothing to do.
The good news was that due to the lockdown, Harry had a lot less housework than he used to.
Harry wanted to finish his summer homework as soon as possible. As soon as he remembered Hermione's terrible eyes and Snape's cynicism, Harry felt that he had no good way to live.
Speaking of Hermione, it has to be said that Harry didn't hear from anyone all his holiday, Ron, Hermione, and Van Lin. Even for Harry's birthday today, there was no news at all.
However, looking at the scene in front of him, Harry had to get through the crisis in front of him first. Harry looked at the abnormal house-elf in front of him with a look of trepidation, and Harry didn't know that he had said the wrong thing, the damn house-elf was slamming his head on Harry's desk in a frenzy.
"Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby!"
"Don'tβwhat are you doing?" Harry booed, jumping up and pulling Dobby back to the bed. With a loud scream, Haivey woke up and flapped his wings against the railing of the cage with all his might.
"Sir, Dobby has to punish himself," said the elf, its eyes squinting a little.
"Dobby is in the service of a wizarding family. β
"Dobby is the spirit of a house - the duty is to serve a house and a family forever......"
"Do they know you're here?" asked Harry, curious.
"Oh no, sir, no...... Sir, Dobby will punish himself severely for coming to see you. Dobby would have his ears clipped to the oven door because of this. If only I let them know, sirβ"
"But won't they know that you put your ear on the oven door?" "Sir, Dobby guessed they knew. Dobby always has to punish himself for something, sir. They don't care about Dobby continuing to do it. Sometimes they remind me to do some extra punishment......"
"But why don't you leave, run away?" Harry didn't understand Dobby's thinking.
"An elf must not be released, sir. This family will definitely not liberate Dobby...... Dobby was going to serve the family until it died, Mr. ......" Dobby sobbed, looking very sad.
Harry's eyes widened.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Harry said apologetically, seeing Dobby so sad, Harry felt very sorry for himself.
"Offend Dobby!" the elf choked. "Dobby has never been apologized by a wizard...... Like a peer......"
"Your master is really nasty!" Harry said angrily, "they shouldn't have done that to you. β
In Harry's opinion, Dobby was worse than a slave of the past.
"Yes. Dobby replied habitually, but he immediately realized what he had said.
"Bad Dobby, Bad Dobby ......"
Dobby's mouth kept yelling, and he smashed his ugly nose with a lamp in his hand.
"Give him to me!"
Harry snatched it up, he didn't understand what he had done wrong.
"No, Harry Potter. Dobby stepped back, "Dobby said bad things about his master, and Dobby must punish himself, which is the principle that a house-elf should have. β
Once again, a dull knocking sound rang out from Harry's room.
Harry felt like he was going to be driven crazy by this damn house-elf.
"Stop, damn it...... I'll tell you to stop!" Harry didn't know where he felt his own wand.
"PetificusTotalus!"
The world had finally quieted down, and it was an important day for the Dursleys to feast on their clients, and Harry didn't want to go hungry for a while.
"Hey, listen to me, if you don't want to get into trouble, I want you to sit down honestly for a while. β
Harry was talking to himself, trying to break the spell on Dobby, but he was caught off guard.
Dobby himself lifted Harry's spell, crying even more and hitting his head harder against the cupboard.
"Dali's kid must have forgotten to turn off the TV, I'll go up and take a look. Uncle Dursley's voice came up from downstairs, and Harry screamed in his heart that it was not good.
"Quick! to the closet!" Harry booed Dobby inside, and just as he closed the cupboard door, the doorknob was unscrewed.
"What the hell are you doing?" said Aunt Vernon, putting her face in front of Harry's eyes, gritting her teeth.
"I'm sorry. Harry pushed his glasses, looking nervous.
Just then, the closet door opened.
When Harry saw this, he quickly closed the door of the cupboard. But it didn't work, Dobby always wanted to get out of the closet.
Uncle Vernon looked at the closet suspiciously, and Harry could see the dinner disappear from Uncle Vernon's gaze.
"As you can see, Aunt Vernon. Harry pushed the closet door hard with his hand.
"There's something wrong with the door to this closet. β
"Damn it. Aunt Vernon didn't have time to think about it so much, and there was a deep disgust in his tone.
"As soon as possible...... Fix this damn door for me. Vernon's face was purple in a sauce.
"You know, everything you use is ours, boy! if something goes wrong with this closet, you'll have no dinner for a week. β
"Good...... Okay, Aunt Vernon. Harry stammered, glad Vernon hadn't explored the cabinet.
"You know what, you just ruined the good part of my conversation. Vernon grabbed Harry by the collar with one hand
β...... If you make a little more noise, you won't want to live, boy!"
With that, Vernon nudged Harry, straightened his clothes with his hands, and put on that ugly smile again. He was going to continue to receive the Masons.
With the sound of the door slamming down, Harry's heart relaxed, and he lay down on the bed, gasping for breath.
Harry was skeptical that he had a fake birthday, and that might be the best news if he hadn't had dinner at all.
