Chapter 45: The Existence of the "Father".
The Father is a mysterious creature that takes shape in the form of a shadow in a flask, but when it was created, it already possessed a great deal of knowledge. Its essence and its goals are not revealed much in the comics, and the few clues revealed in the last show are that the father himself is also an original link in the world of steel.
Many anime researchers have found a theory in the culture of the Genshu world that can explain the existence of the father. That's the Kabbalism, a method of Judaism that tries to explain God's connection to the mortal world. In fact, the saying "all is one, one is all" also comes from this sect, and the father seems to have an essential connection with the SitraAchra in Kabbalah.
Evil exists in the Kabbalah in the void of God's will. Because God is everywhere and God is supremely good, evil can only exist in God's absence. God is not present because He withdrew His will from reality in order to give man room for free will and self-government. This brings evil, or SitraAchra, into the realm of the world.
However, SitraAhra is not devoid of a real presence in the physical realm, and it is always depicted as the shadow of God's light, or as a parasite known as the natural universe. It constitutes the existence of reality, but it does not have life or its own existence.
They can only live like parasites, and they will naturally perish on the day when God fills the universe with his will. This was strongly confirmed when the essence of the father was exposed to the material realm at the end of the steel, and then it was extinguished in the hands of the truth.
The father may be a form of SitraAchra. When created from the flask, it was a strange thing with knowledge that it had not yet acquired, marking the existence of its elusive ontology, a way to survive only in a closed flask. (Although this existence is intangible).
Whether the "father" was used by Hohenheim's master, or whether it was created by Hohenheim's blood while working hard, is an example of its parasitic nature - it cannot obtain a physical form unless there is a human creation and human blood. (And because it was at the beginning of creation, it only received the shadow, the most ethereal and weak form of existence.) )
The original form of existence of the "Father" is a shadow, which is also quite consistent with the Sitra Achra described in Kabbalah – the shadow of God's will. Because its existence can only be through God's absence, it can only survive in a small flask, in a small space, in order to expel the existence of God (truth), because the rest of the physical world belongs to God (truth). This also explains that my father has always stayed underground for nothing, and in the caverns built by countless pipes, he needs to rely on his body to survive. (The shell is a large flask.)
Its parasitic nature is magnified in the fact that it must need man to create for it a better body of human souls (which he cannot do himself). Interestingly, my father was aging over time, while Hohenheim was not.
This may be due to the fact that my father is a parasitic and must draw energy from his soul at all times to maintain his existence in this world, while Hohenheim has no problem with this because he has a natural soul. For most of the comics, my father still needed humans to do evil for his plan, and he needed humans as sacrifices—he didn't have the ability to do that himself.
It is also worth noting that Hohenheim mentions that his father is still trapped (chapter 78 of the manga, the seven original sins) - it is indeed much stronger than before, but it can still only exist within a certain range. Maybe the strange thing that the new people feel in Amestris is some kind of lack of gods (dragon veins). …,
"That's amazing! Able to get out of the cracks in Curadoni's body. The owner of the voice expressed surprise in his statement, but the fluctuation of the voice was too flat in terms of tone. The old man with blond hair and golden eyes in a white robe stood up from the throne in the darkness and walked out slowly.
Mu Yuchen looked carefully, this figure who had created all the ups and downs in the Steeling World. If it weren't for the ominous aura of the huge crowd, this man didn't seem to have much of a difference. Get rid of the arrogance of that stinky fart, and the arrogance of ignoring mortal existence and thinking that you are noble.
"Hohenheim?" Edward was almost speechless in astonishment, and the tone in which he called his father's name was truly like a thousand twists and turns.
"Hands and feet of steel, armor?" "Father" walked up to Edward and Alphonse in a few steps, and looked at them carefully. "Is it Brother Elric?".
Edward, who mistakenly mistook his father for his own father, negated his judgment from the tone of the other party. Although he hadn't seen his father for a long time, Edward still didn't think that Hohenheim would not recognize him, it was because of the feeling of blood.
Although there was not much emotion, his father still seemed to have a different mood for Hohenheim, who had brought him to this world. It seems that because the father and son are all human pillars, the "father", who basically doesn't have many expressions, actually chatted with the Ellik brothers.
"Hohenheim couldn't have died, but he had a baby......."
With the "father's" self-talk and Edward's fighting, it is really a harmonious gathering of decent and villains! Without his father's order, Curadoni and Enwei were waiting very quietly, while Mu Yuchen and Yao Lin had been completely ignored.
Mu Yuchen kept looking at the surrounding environment, and his mind was full of calculations about how to avoid becoming a key target of his father when he started fighting in a while. Even if its ability has not yet reached its peak state, Mu Yuchen is basically hopeless when it comes to killing the other party with its own strength.
Just as Mu Yuchen was thinking, with the "father" of Hohenheim's body, Edward's arm and rib fractures were healed with a wave of his hand, and the missing body of Alphons' armor was repaired without losing other parts.
"You're all precious talents! Take good care of your body! The father's tone returned to the dry taste again, as if he was maintaining the tools he needed......
