4. It's you again
Li Ruolin stared blankly at the extinguished mobile phone screen for a minute before she came to her senses and carefully digested those few words.
5 o'clock, two hours to go. It's at least an hour to take the subway from home to Central Park, but the problem is that it's 3 a.m., and the subway hasn't started to run yet, so Ruolin can only take a taxi to the filming location.
Li Ruolin went out at 3:10 and waited for a taxi for 10 minutes, because the road was empty, the driver sped all the way, so that when Li Ruolin arrived at Central Park, the clock on the bell tower slowly walked to the position of 4 o'clock.
In the early hours of winter, Central Park is particularly bleak, and the benches are covered with a thin layer of frost, and the cold air is slowly exhaling outward. Li Ruolin didn't care what the frost was, she sat in a huff, and blamed the phone call for making her brain unclear.
There was still an hour, Li Ruolin wrapped her down jacket tightly and took the opportunity to catch up on sleep.
At 4:50, the stylist appeared in front of Li Ruolin with two large bags of clothes and a suitcase, and found that Li Ruolin was lying on the park bench with her face facing the sky, and a layer of frost had formed on her long eyelashes, trembling slightly with her breathing.
“Katy!”
The stylist's sudden voice frightened Li Ruolin so much that she almost fell off the chair.
"Did you sleep here last night?" Tim looked at the crazy woman in disbelief, and the powder she used to hide her dark circles was almost shocked.
Tim is a company notoriously late-stage procrastinator, and being half an hour late is punctual for him, and an hour late is considered a little late. Even a veteran employee like Xiaomin had never seen Tim arrive early.
"Mr. Tim." Li Ruolin rubbed her eyes, "Did I sleep?" ”
"Hurry, hurry! The devil is coming, and you still have the heart to sleep here! Tim beckoned the two assistants to quickly get the guys out and set up a make-up room.
For a while, the empty Central Park Plaza suddenly became "lively".
"Kitten! What are you doing there! Wait for the devil to come and peel you? Tim shouted at Ruolin with a sharp voice, sounding like it was about to break.
Li Ruolin rubbed her face so that she could quickly wake up.
"I've never seen Mr. Tim so nervous, is that Alan really scary?"
"Very bad temper." Tim lowered his head and put false eyelashes on Li Ruolin, reluctant to comment too much.
"Tell me about it, Mr. Tim!" Tim didn't say that it was okay, but when he mentioned it, Li Ruolin became even more curious.
"What do you want to hear?" A question came from above Ruolin's head.
Huh? Wait, this sound is a little familiar.
Li Ruolin opened her eyes suddenly, and through her half-glued eyelashes, she finally saw the iceberg-like poker face standing behind her in the mirror.
"You, you, you—" Li Ruolin's brain froze, and she couldn't hold back a word.
"What a coincidence, we meet again." Alan looked at the woman in the mirror with interest, looking at her blushing face, which was particularly interesting.
There's a great guy up there! Can someone on top of him play with people at will? When the old lady met you, she was considered to have poured mold for eight lifetimes, threw people out of the hotel without saying anything, and locked people up for a day and a night unreasonably.
It's just inhuman!
Of course, Li Ruolin only dared to shout these words in her head, and now her life-saving job is still in the hands of others, so she can only "endure humiliation" once.
