Chapter 530: Bad Weather
The further north the train went, the heavier the rain became, the sky was dark, the windows were foggy, and lanterns were lit at noon.
The food truck rattled down the hallway, and Harry bought a large stack of cauldrons of cakes to share.
In the afternoon, several friends, including Finigan, Dean and Nivelle, came to visit them.
Because of Van Lin's health, he didn't want to be watched, especially on the Hogwarts train.
The Daily Prophet has already distributed his reports, which can be said to be overwhelming.
Of course, he must be watched, like a monkey in a zoo, which is a terrible feeling.
With Hermione's help, Van Lin completed the transformation of the Animagus.
He took the place of Crook Hill, and he slept as the innermost seat in the box.
Actually, it's okay to be held by Hermione, but the girl probably won't want to.
Seamus was still wearing his Irish satin, and some of its magic seemed to be drained, though it still squeaked like "Tegg, Mallett, Moran!", but it was a faint, depleted sound.
As soon as a few people came in, they asked about Van Lin, and they asked if it was true.
After receiving an affirmative answer, the topic of Van Rim was a colloquial language that I knew.
Neville seemed to notice that Hermione had a new pet, but he didn't say much about it.
Aside from a few young wizards who regretted that Van Lin was not there, the rest was at least Quidditch.
Of course, no one will talk about the Dark Wizard, but Quidditch before Van Lim's power is also very topical.
After about half an hour, Hermione grew tired of the endless Quidditch conversation and began to bury her head in the Standard Charms Textbook again. Fourth Grade tries to learn a summoning spell.
Neville listened jealously as others revisited the World Cup.
"Ringzo doesn't want to go," he said bitterly, "won't buy a ticket, as surprising as it sounds." β
"Yes. Ron said, "Look at this, Neville......"
He rummaged through the suitcases on the luggage rack and dragged out a miniature statue of Victor Klum.
"Wow!" Neville cried out enviously as Ron shoved Krum into his chubby hand.
"We got to see him up close, too. Ron said, "It was in the upper class. β
"That was the first and last time in your life, Weasley. β
Draco Malfoy appeared in the hallway, behind him stood Carah and Goyle, his best friends, tall and big, like criminals, who had grown at least a foot taller this summer, and it was clear that they had heard the conversation through the door when Dean and Seamus had left the door open.
"Don't say you're going to join us, Malfoy. Harry said coldly.
Malfoy was slightly stunned, he gave a quick glance, he had to make sure the guy wasn't there, or else......
Weasley...... What's that?" Malfoy asked, pointing to Piwei's cage.
One sleeve of Ron's robe hung off the cage, swaying as the train moved.
"Second-hand robes, you're still the same, Weasley. β
"Shut up, Malfoy!" Ron pulled back the full son from Malf's clenched hands, his face flushed as the color of a pig's liver. Malfoy's laughter howled like a howl, and Cleber and Goyle giggled.
"Looks like you're not going to sign up, are you, Weasley? If you can find a piece that suits your family......"
"What are you talking about?" Ron snapped.
"Are you going to sign up?" Malfoy repeated, "I think you will, Potter, and you never miss a chance to show off, do you?"
"Either explain your words, or get out of here, Malfoy. "Hermione from the Standard Charms Textbook. Fourth Grade" said angrily.
A surprised smile crossed Malfoy's pale face.
"Don't tell me you don't know. He said happily, "Your dad and your brother are in the ministry, and you don't know it? God, my dad told me a few years ago...... I heard it from Cornelius Fudge, but at that time, Dad was in constant contact with the top of the ministry...... Maybe your dad didn't know about it, Weasley...... Yes, they most likely don't talk about the Ministry's important things in front of him......"
Laughing again, Malfoy gestured to Kra and Goyle, and the three of them left.
Ron stood up and slammed the door of the carriage behind them, shattering the glass with such force that he slammed it.
This startled Van Lin, and the hairs on his body stood on end.
How to say, the normal reaction of a cat to a frightened cat.
"Ron!" Hermione shouted reproachfully, drawing her wand and chanting "Recover!"
The broken glass flew up and regrouped into pieces, then flew back to the door.
"Well, just assume he knows everything, we don't ......," Ron yelled, "Dad often interacts with the top people in the ministry...... Dad can get a promotion at any time...... He's just happy to be in his current position......"
"Of course it is. Hermione said calmly, "Don't take Malfoy's words seriously, Ronβ"
"Hmph, really, dreaming!" Ron picked up a piece of leftover cake and stuffed it into his mouth.
For the rest of the trip, Ron was still in bad spirits, they changed into school robes, he didn't talk much, and he was still furious when the Hogwarts Express slowed down and finally stopped at the dark Hogsmeade station.
The train door opened, and there was a thunderclap, and Hermione locked Crookhill in a cage, and Van Lin took Crookshank's place, he was in Hermione's arms, covered by a cloak.
Cats can't get cold, and the cages in Crookhill are good, but you can't put a person in them.
Van Lin slept groggyly, and he even drank some spiritual potions, which made him lie down the whole time.
Hermione said dinner would call him.
Ron put his coat over the piglet and got off the train. In the face of the pouring rain, they lowered their heads and squinted their eyes as they walked forward. Now the rain was falling so hard and fast that it seemed like buckets of ice water were pouring down over their heads.
"Hey, Hagrid!" Harry cried out at the sight of a tall figure at the far end of the platform.
"Hey, Harry?" Hagrid looked back and waved, "If you don't drown, see you at the celebration!"
Traditionally, first-year students and Hagrid take a boat across the lake to Hogwarts Castle.
"Well, I can't imagine walking across a lake in this weather," Hermione said eagerly, as they joined the crowd as they slowly walked along the dark platform. A hundred wagons with no horses were waiting for them outside the station. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville had a cat gratitiously climbing into one of them.
Immediately after, the door slammed shut.
A few minutes later, with a violent shaking, the car squeaked and began its journey, splashing muddy water and staggering on the way to Hogwarts Castle.
