I walked in the darkness, and the flashlight in my hand was my only source of light. There was silence all around, except for the heels of the shoes colliding with the planes beneath their feet, making a rhythmic sound.

Click...... Click......

Again, and again...... It was as if every sound was on my heart. It doesn't hurt, but it's depressing, stuffy, and uncomfortable.

The air was full of strange smells, like damp musty smells, and some stinky, inhaled into the body, it seemed that from the nostrils, trachea, to one's internal organs, everywhere the air passed through was about to be corroded by the air, all disappeared into nothingness, until only the strange-smelling air remained.

Although there is a companion by his side, this companion has only known each other for less than 48 hours. Two days ago, we were all strangers.

The footsteps dissipated not far away, and there was no reverberation. It's as if the darkness in the distance is a monster with its mouth wide open that is about to devour everything, including the voice, including me.

After turning another corner, the flashlight shines ahead, only to find that the passage is interrupted in front of it, as if that is the end of the passage. After a few more steps, the passage suddenly opened up at the end, and an incredible space opened up in front of us.

My eyes widened in shock at the sight, my mouth open for a long time to remember to close, my stomach churned, and my nose smelled a thick rancid and fishy sweet smell.

It was a huge circular cavern, a spherical, hellish space, to be exact!

At the bottom of the space, there were layers of pink and gray wriggling creatures, and if you looked closely, you could see that they were newborn and slightly larger cubs. They are densely packed together, and countless cries one after another merge and echo, resonating and superimposing, making people feel as if their eardrums are about to be punctured by this pin-needle-like sound, and even the nerves in the brain seem to be stimulated by these cries for bursts of pain.

Now, we finally know why they led us here, because this is the food center they built to feed their descendants, and this is their granary!

Humans are stored as food by other organisms and used as fodder for their young...... Isn't it ridiculous? Can't believe it at all? However, such a ridiculous thing is the truth here.

In the middle of the densely packed squirming cubs there was a hill that stretched from the bottom to the top—a mountain of flesh.

The corpses of cats, dogs, and even the corpses of their dead kind, nature, and, most of all, human corpses.

The humans of the whole city seem to have become the main source of food for these cubs, and in this mountain of corpses, the internal organs, limbs, heads, and indistinguishable are gathered together in a chaotic manner, and these corpses that have been accumulated for an unknown period of time exude a putrid smell, and some of the corpses have even rotted into a puddle of minced meat, and the black carrion is crawling with white maggots, which is even more terrifying under the white light.

If hell ever exists, I'm afraid it wouldn't be the same.

No, it should be said that this is the hell on earth!

And the beginning of my descent into hell, the beginning of everything, was that day, that moment, that time that I will never forget!
