Seven

In the first year of Zhihe (1054), Su Shi had grown into a nineteen-year-old youth. The day of the exam is also on the agenda.

The inevitable – marital problems are coming.

If Su Shi is unmarried and enters Beijing, and passes the exam, there will be a daughter who grows up and asks someone to propose to them. But the Su family's parents thought it would be better for their son to marry a local girl who knew the roots.

So nineteen-year-old Su Shi married sixteen-year-old Miss Wang Fu.

The following year, his seventeen-year-old brother Su Zhe got married, and his wife was two years younger than him.

Of course, when Su Shi was twenty years old, there was another big event.

The man's twenty crowns and words, Su's father took the word "Zizhan" for Su Shi this year, hoping that Su Shi can look ahead, be cautious, and think comprehensively and thoughtfully.

After the two sons got married, the father and son traveled to Chengdu to pay homage to the official Zhang Fangping, and later Zhang Fangping was almost like a strict father to Su Shi.

After Xiao Chaoyun officially became a refuge disciple, he became more diligent and studious. The semantics of words and phrases are taught by the senior brother, and the abbot teaches the Buddhist scriptures.

One day, the abbot suddenly asked, "What is the meaning of 'the body is the Bodhi tree, and the heart is the mirror platform.'" ’? ”

The three disciples paused for a moment, but Mingsi spoke first: "The body of sentient beings is a tree of enlightened wisdom, and the minds of sentient beings are like a bright mirror, which must be constantly dusted and rubbed at all times, so that it will not be polluted by dirt and obstruct its bright nature. ”

The abbot asked: "Bodhi has no tree, the mirror is not a platform, there is nothing originally, where can it cause dust?" ”

Xiao Chaoyun spoke: "The dust is outside, the heart is inside, it is often brushed, and the heart is pure and dust-free; The dust is inside, the heart is outside, often peeled off, no dust and no heart; There is dust in the heart, the dust is the heart, why fear the dust in the heart, and there is no dust and no heart?"

The abbot nodded, "The heart is dustless, and dust is the heart. Without heart and dust, man dies. All the Dharmas are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows, don't be delusional and clinging, so that you can see the nature of your mind and prove yourself Bodhi. ”

"Yes, master." The three disciples bowed their heads.

"Chaoyun, 'should be viewed as such', why?"

Xiao Chaoyun pondered: "All things and phenomena are illusory, and life and death are impermanent. ”

The abbot nodded, "Chaoyun, six warnings." ”

Six metaphors? "Yes, the disciple will not forget."

All the ways of doing things, such as dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows, dew, and electricity, should be viewed as such.

Like a dream, like a bubble, like a shadow, like dew, like electricity? Xiao Chaoyun read it twice.
