Chapter 49: Windfall
"There seems to be a tomb here!" Chen Ziyang subconsciously shouted out. At this time, in Chen Ziyang's yin and yang eyes, the entire dragon's lair was covered by a large cloud of white mist, which was in the shape of a round cake and spread on a hillside. The diameter of the round cake is about thirty or forty meters, and from the periphery of the round cake to the center, the white mist gradually turns golden yellow, but in the center of the fog mass, where the golden yellow is the thickest, there is nothing, not even the white mist. The whole round cake looks more like a giant doughnut, except that the circle inside the doughnut is smaller.
The shape of this dragon's lair qi is called the full moon qi. There is only one possibility for the appearance of the full moon qi, that is, this dragon's lair has been buried, and the tomb is still intact, and it has not been stolen by people who eat the smell. When the Dragon's Den is built into the tomb, the Qi that gathers on the surface of the Dragon's Den will be introduced into the tomb from the tomb tunnel. When the mausoleum is completed, although the tomb road is closed, but the circulation channel of qi has been formed, as long as the backfill of the closed tomb door and the stone or soil outside the tomb door is not too thick, the qi gathered on the surface of the dragon's lair will always be introduced, but it will be absorbed more slowly.
So there is a standard for the quality of a tomb buried in the dragon's den. The first is the amount of qi on the surface of the dragon's lair and the speed at which it gathers, and the second is the speed at which the tomb inhales qi. The combination of the two together achieves a balance point, so that after the construction of the mausoleum, the inhalation rate of qi can be consistent with the accumulation rate of qi on the surface of the dragon's lair. Achieve the highest level of gas gathering outside the tomb, gas gathering inside the tomb, gas gathering outside the tomb, and gas gathering in the tomb. Acquisition is a long-lasting, 10,000-year-old meaning, only such a dragon's lair can be blessed for generations to come, the standard of this balance point is the appearance of a full moon.
The existence of the full moon qi indicates that the tomb has not been stolen, otherwise, if the tomb is stolen, the flow of qi in the tomb will be destroyed by the air flow introduced by the stolen hole. The phenomenon of full moon qi slowly disappeared. Therefore, the existence of the full moon qi indicates that there is a complete ancient tomb here.
In order to achieve the best balance of full moon qi, the person who built the tomb must have a very high level of control over the feng shui, geographical environment, microclimate, structure inside the tomb, the direction of the tomb and the sealing soil.
When Chen Ziyang studied the "Civil Engineering Collection", he knew that long before the Tang Dynasty, a good feng shui master must be proficient in the construction of tombs. At that time, the feng shui master was not only looking for dragon points, but also masters of tomb construction, and when necessary, he had to make civil changes to the dragon's lair. Therefore, the predecessor of "Civil Engineering Collection" is "Civil Engineering Collection", which is set to find dragon points, and wooden sets to build tombs.
If there is no such person who is proficient in both feng shui and construction to repair the tomb, but to find two people who are proficient in one aspect of the tomb, then it will be difficult to build a really good cave, either because the sealing soil is too thick and the breath is slow to inhale, or you will think that the inhalation is too fast and the qi gathered outside the dragon's den will be sucked dry, or you will think that the structure of the tomb is unreasonable and cannot be induced into the tomb.
In the Tang Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty brought the full moon qi to its peak because of its strong national strength and the burial system of the mountain as a mausoleum. A large number of such excellent tombs appeared. But since the Song Dynasty, there have been fewer such feng shui architects. Slowly, feng shui and tomb building gradually separated. It can be said that feng shui architects have become extinct. Including Chen Ziyang, it's okay to let him find a dragon and a cave, but he doesn't know anything about the structure of buildings and tombs.
Before getting the "Civil Engineering Collection", Chen Ziyang didn't understand the structure of the tombs of those emperors, since he spent so much effort and so much manpower and material resources to build the mausoleum, why didn't he fill in the tomb when he left? Instead, it is necessary to keep the tomb road, only block a section, and install a tomb door, which is the so-called tomb seal, leaving a convenient door for tomb robbers, as long as they find the tomb road, they can drive straight in.
It wasn't until Chen Ziyang knew that he understood the reason for the introduction of qi into the tomb, if he didn't stay, he wouldn't be able to stay, and if he didn't stay, the dragon's lair wouldn't work.
"Oh, that's unreasonable. How can there be a tomb here? Chen Ziyang touched the stubble on his chin, smacked his teeth, and said to himself. This action is something he has imitated since he was a child, and he didn't want to fight and now it has become his habitual move. According to Chen Ziyang's idea, even if this cave is a dragon's cave, it is impossible for anyone to be buried here, because the transportation here was very inconvenient in the past, and the materials used to build the tomb could not be transported at all.
In order to verify whether there is a tomb here, Chen Ziyang used the method of smelling the soil to look at it. The method of smelling the soil is divided into two parts: smelling the soil with the nose and smelling the wood with the eyes, which refers to judging the size of the tomb and the location of the tomb by the soil around the tomb and the growth of trees.
The so-called sniffing soil refers to the soil dug out of the tomb when it was built, and there are usually only a few ways to deal with it, one is to re-cover the tomb in the form of a sealed mound, and the other is to treat it on the spot for some small renovation or landfilling of the dragon's den. The third is to transport to other places. But no matter what kind of treatment you use, it will leave traces that can be detected.
The method of sealing the mound is simply telling people that there is an ancient tomb here, and you can dig it. And the least used method is to use the soil to transform the dragon's lair, because the dragon's lair is not something that anyone can change when they say it, and the transformation of the dragon's lair cannot be done by those who are not masters of feng shui. If it is not corrected, the dragon vein will be destroyed, and the descendants of the buried person and the feng shui master who transforms the dragon's den will suffer from feng shui.
And even if it is a better transformed dragon's lair, the transformed part is easier to leave traces because of the lack of historical precipitation. A good feng shui master can see the traces of the transformation of the dragon's lair at a glance, so as to deduce the structure of the tomb.
As for transporting the soil to other places is the safest method, which can not only deal with the waste soil, but also leave fewer traces, but this practice also has its drawbacks, the soil and stone are transported far away often increase the amount of work, and at the same time, it is easy to expose the matter of building tombs, and the transportation is close but will still leave more obvious traces.
The method of smelling wood is to rely on vegetation to determine whether there are tombs nearby. In the past, due to the underdevelopment of transportation, the materials used to build large mausoleums were often made of local materials, and the most common was to cut down trees in mountainous forests, or to build quarries in mountainous and rocky areas. Most of them are in the vicinity of the mausoleum.
It can be said that as long as the tomb is built, it will definitely leave traces, and the method of soil concentration is to use these traces to determine whether there are tombs nearby, analyze the structure of the tomb, and find the location of the tomb door.
