Chapter 185: At My Aunt's House

The uncle drove the machine into the pear orchard and asked the brother which pear trees he wanted to plant. After my brother said something, we took the basket and started to lay the pears. However, some pears grow a little tall, so you have to climb the tree. However, this pear tree is low, easy to climb, and has many branches. Hardly any ladders are used.

"One, hand this basket down, and give me the empty basket in your hand." When my brother saw me pouring pears, he came back and called me, "I'm too lazy to go down." ”

"Okay." I answered, went over and caught the basket he had carefully handed down, and gave him the empty basket. The three of us got off the pear for more than two hours. After I got off the table, my uncle asked me to go home first and cook the food first, and then he would pack up and eat and go to the night market with my brother. I nodded, cleaned up briefly, and went back first.

When I got back, I mixed some water with the rice left over from noon and cooked porridge in a rice cooker. Then I pasted a pot of cakes with noodles and simply fried two side dishes. Not long after the meal was ready, I heard the sound of a tractor outside. When I went out to open the door, I saw my uncle and brother returning.

"What time is it?" My uncle asked me, and I told him it was almost five o'clock. He asked me if I had the food ready, and he quickly put it on the table.

"That's it." I said, "I just got cold water in the basin, wash your hands and eat." The porridge I also served out early and was cold! As I spoke, I went to the kitchen and brought the stir-fried food to the hall.

After the uncle and brother cleaned up, they came to eat. When I saw this, I asked, "Then you will go and sell pears later, what about me?" Do you want to go along? ”

"What are you going to do?" My uncle said to me, "You're at home to watch the door!" ”

"Huh?" I was not happy when I heard this, and asked, "Am I alone?" ”

"Lock the door at home alone, are you as timid as your sister?" Brother said. I'm not timid anymore, but you're always going to be uneasy to leave you alone in a place you haven't lived in.

But this is also something that can't be helped, my aunt is sick and there is no one at home. I'm here to help, can't I make a mess, right? When my brother saw this, he told me to keep the door closed at night and the door locked in the house. No one you know knocks on the door.

I nodded yes and asked, "And when will you be back?" Will you be able to come back tomorrow morning? ”

"I can't come back, at least in the afternoon." The elder brother replied, "After selling the night market, I have to go to sell the small street in the morning, and I can only go back when I sell out." ”

"Oh." I nodded, and when I saw that they had finished eating, I began to clean up. The uncle and brother scooped up water and went to the bathroom to take a shower, and then they were ready to leave. When I saw that they were really leaving, I felt uneasy. But what can be done? You can't stop them from going, right?

After my uncle and brother turned on the machine and left, I immediately closed the door. After cleaning up the finished meal, I scooped up the water in a panic and went to the bathroom to wash it briefly. Then I ran to my aunt and sister's bed, bolted the door, and lay down to watch TV. It wasn't much to see, but I always felt uneasy, so I just stared at the TV until I finally fell asleep......

When I woke up the next morning, it was already dawn, and I looked up at the clock on the wall. It was almost half past five, and I was about to lie in bed for a while, when I suddenly caught a glimpse of the TV on the stage and startled me. After looking closely, I realized that I didn't turn off the TV after I fell asleep last night, and the station hasn't started yet, so it's all snowflakes.

I breathed a sigh of relief and turned off the TV, and I didn't feel sleepy anymore. So I went to the bathroom and washed the dirty clothes that my uncle and the others had changed out of last night, and cleaned the house after washing the clothes. After doing some trivial things casually, the time was noon.

I cooked the rice in a rice cooker, thinking that my uncle and brother would come back at noon, so I fried three or four dishes. They were all brought back from the pear orchard, including beans, eggplants and so on.

However, I waited until twelve o'clock to see my uncle and brother. I was hungry because I didn't eat in the morning. So I left them alone, and ate them first after the meal.

But I wasn't eating long before I heard the sound of a tractor outside. I quickly put the dishes and chopsticks, and when I opened the door, I saw that except for my uncle and brother. My sister and uncle also came back.

When I saw this, I called out to my sister, who sat on the tractor and waved at me. When my uncle saw me, he asked me if I had eaten. I said I had just eaten and I heard your voices. Then I asked my aunt how she was doing, and who was in the hospital when you all came back?

"It's okay, it's just that my mother's scalpel can't be stitched, and I have to heal slowly by myself...... it's annoying," my sister said, telling me that my aunt was in the hospital.

"Will you go later?" I asked. My sister nodded and said, "After the pear in the afternoon, my dad will go with the machine, and I won't go......"

"Really?" When I heard my sister say that, I was very happy. My sister nodded and asked me what I had eaten. After seeing the fried dishes on my table, I had to go to the small shop to buy some cold dishes. The uncle wouldn't let her go, saying that there was enough to eat. But in the end, my uncle still asked her to buy two bottles of beer and buy some peanuts and rice cold dishes.
