Chapter 64: The God Rossos
Kyld and Wokan returned to the command room with their protectors. Sirua and Ticharo, who had been summoned by Rhine, stood in the doorway with their guns in hand, and they stood face to face on either side of the door, one staring at the door panel while the other watched the movement in the room.
"It's hard work, is there any result?"
Hua Shao greeted as usual, and she didn't expect anything. But surprisingly, her guests threw out a question.
"Was that one of your former elite members?"
"Yes." After Rosier and the others took control of that person, they had already reported the specific situation to her, "We originally booked him to take over the responsibility of the vice-captain of the elite team and assist Rosier. β
"Oh, no wonder it's so hard." Wokan shrugged, "And loyal to you. Unfortunately, sometimes too much loyalty can lead to bad things. β
"What do you mean?" Hua Shao was keenly aware of the unusual meaning revealed in his words, "What happened to him?" β
The four of them walked to the corner of the room and found a sofa for Bianko and Lanoda to sit in, before Kylde leaned against the back of the sofa and explained to his allies.
"The man's mind is clear, and there is no control." "He chose to attack the goddess in a conscious state," said Kyild slowly. β
Hua Shao's face tightened, and she stared at Kyird deadly, refusing to let go of any change in his expression.
"You mean he betrayed us?" She frowned, quickly dismissing her speculation, "But you just mentioned his loyalty......"
"Maybe that's why he can only be a vice-captain." Kyild sneered and shook his head, "Believing the words of others and trusting your own abilities too much. β
Bianko looked up at Kyerde, their alliance still looking confused, but her husband seemed to be enjoying the fun of taunting others. She didn't know if she should save the other person from the confusion, but her friend also looked like an old god was there, and there was no anxiety, so she had better keep quiet.
"Maybe you can help me?" Hua Shao didn't get angry, but allowed himself to be much more polite than before, "In the current situation, anything can be a helpful clue." β
"Who just thought we'd do useless work?" Wokan grinned and grimaced, "What, have you changed your mind now?" β
Hua Shao smiled helplessly, she could only look at Yiluo, the one who had stopped them at the time.
Iroh clutched his chest exaggeratedly, and he walked up to Wokan and them in three or two steps, and bowed comically.
"I apologize for my gaffes, dear ladies and gentlemen." He straightened up and looked at his ally sincerely, "But I definitely don't think you're going to do it for nothing. It was so chaotic that I was just worried about your safety. Rossos will not pass up any opportunity, and I am confident that you will not be willing to let the ladies around you get hurt. β
"We accept your apology and thank you for your sincere kindness." Kyild interrupted Wokan, who was still trying to keep messing around, and steered the conversation back on track, "Simply put, this good player of yours believes the words of a stranger you've never met before. Even though you have repeatedly emphasized that you can't attack the goddess, the idea that 'the people of the Demon King Continent have bad intentions and want to mislead Murfi' was successfully instilled into this gentleman's brain, so he attacked the goddess - for Murphy's sake. Perhaps you should be proud of his loyalty. β
Hua Shao took a light breath, and her eyes revealed a complicated look. Disappointment, worry, but there is absolutely no emotion that can be called "pride".
"I'm sorry." She said heavily, "It's our job that doesn't get it right." β
"I'm skeptical." "If it was Roselle, no matter how fanciful the other person said, she would have chosen to come back and report before making a decision." She has always trusted you unconditionally, which is why she was able to accept us so quickly. β
"So Rosier is the captain, and this gentleman is not." "He also thinks his loyalty is unmatched, not even Roselleβoh, maybe in a way I can agree with that." β
"No, if Rossile knew about it, she would be very angry." Lanoda calmly stopped Vokan, "Anyway, although this gentleman has a lot of opinions about us, he cooperates with the place and time he met the man, andβhe is not too stupid at all, he has managed to keep the man's hair." β
"Sounds like it's time for us to help." Reins lazily beckoned to Ella, "Given that I can't do anything right now, Ella. β
The woman, who was adept at summoning spirits from all natural plants, sighed pretentiously as she took the hair that Lanoda had given her and stared at it earnestly...... Initiated a stay.
Rhines gave her a blank look, and she crumpled a piece of white paper in front of her into a ball and threw it at the top of Ella's head.
"Ouch!" The red-haired woman exclaimed, "What's wrong?" β
"'What's wrong'?" Reins sarcastically asked, "What do you think?" Okay, we're in a hurry now β do you understand what that means? β
"Of course I do." Ella muttered, "I was just thinking about what we should do...... Where is this person? What if he's not here? β
"It doesn't matter if he's back in their Roseos kennel, you'll always be able to track down the messages he left along the way." Reins rolled her eyes, "Just get a general direction, so that Imi and them know where to go." Here they wander aimlessly like headless flies, and sooner or later they will be caught by the goddess or some messy god. β
Ella pursed her lips, and she picked up the hair, whispering her incantation.
The place where the two gods had stayed had become a huge crater, and the surrounding trees had been destroyed without any breath of life.
Figilio stood wearily in the pit, the goddess's sanity robbed of her and her pain as she seemed to be abandoned by her pain. He could clearly see that the goddess's body was in a state of fatigue, but the goddess did not show any discoloration at all, and during the battle, she did not show any pain from being attacked.
Of course, this will not be a good thing, she cannot perceive the limits of her body, so she will overdraw her life energy.
Imoryla's magic circles were still hanging high in the air, and the only good news was that they had stopped functioning. But...... If he withdrew from the battlefield, neither the goddess nor Roseos would treat those magic circles as mere decorations.
Haven't the people of Molfi made much progress yet? Although what humans can do doesn't matter much to him, it's better than nothing, at least it lifts his mood.
Just as he was thinking this, there was a sizzling sound from the communicator in his ear. After a while, the voice he least liked to hear came out of his ears.
"Are you alive and well?"
"Of course." Figilio snorted coldly, "I've outlived you. β
"The men of Rossos are in the other direction, not far from your battlefield, but the men of Morfi-Fili have gone to lure them away."
"Surprisingly, I didn't expect you to achieve anything." Figilio subconsciously sarcastic, "So, did you spot 'Roses'?" β
"What are you counting on?" Kyird's voice sounded overly surprised, "We are just human beings, how can we find traces of a true god?" β
"Okay, shut up."
Figilio cursed silently, no longer listening to any movement in the communicator. In any case, since the people of Roses were led away, then he only had to lure the goddess awayβ
"Humans are really fascinating, aren't they?"
An unfamiliar male voice sounded like thunder around him, and Figilio looked around warily, but found no figure.
"I'm surprised, Figilio. The goddess Imoriela has always loved humans, but Avos never paid too much attention to them. I can't understand that he would be an enemy of the goddess in order to protect humanity, so I have been observing these wonderful beings all the time. β
Although I don't know who this person is, there is too much information in his words. Figilio tensed up, ready for an attack that could happen at any moment, and that he didn't know where to appear.
"I've found that these humans don't have the supreme intelligence of gods, but they're very interesting."
A touch of temperature suddenly appeared behind Figilio's ears, and for a moment he couldn't even think.
"No wonder Avos wants to protect them."
Figilio quickly distanced himself from the "man" behind him, and he rushed diagonally forward, stopping at an angle where he could see both the goddess and the "man", and then he realized that a layer of cold sweat had appeared behind his back.
"Your kids are chasing my useless tools?" The figure slowly emerged from the air, with short blond hair standing out, "That's great. You know, even though the punishment of the creator god has become much slower, it is still there. If there are so many casualties in a place where there are so many human beings, I'm afraid I won't be able to eat and walk around in the future. β
Figilio gritted his teeth.
"That's what you're aiming for, right?"
"Of course." Despite the smile on his face, there was no hint of a smile in his inky blue eyes, "The gods are the real tricky beings, and humans can't influence anything at all." β
"You want to kill all the gods on the Demon King Continent on your own?" Figilio sneered, "No kidding, Rossos. What if you were able to control the goddess's side? You should know that my father was never one to be threatened like this. β
"How do you know if you don't try?" Rossos said with a smile as he raised his hand, and the magic array in the air faintly showed signs of being active again, "As an incomplete god, you are the easiest link to break, since you have such a good opportunity, why don't I try?" β
Figilio pursed his lips tightly, he knew there was nothing to hesitate about now. Death and a short period of discomfort, you know what to choose when you think about it on your toes.
