Chapter Seventy-Eight: Everyday Trivialities
I woke up late the next morning because I watched TV late last night. My aunt and grandfather came and called me over for breakfast, and I hummed and agreed, but I didn't get up in the end.
When I finally got up, I glanced at the clock on the wall, and it was already nine and five o'clock. I got up, washed my face and brushed my teeth, and looked over to my grandfather, where the door was locked. I wondered if I was on the back of the house, so I went back here and closed the door and went to the back of the house.
Sure enough, my aunt was moving a stool to sit on the field and watch the food, and I called out to her. When she saw me, she asked me why I didn't get up to eat. I said I watched TV too late last night, so I couldn't get up this morning.
"Am I not the same as you? How can I get up? When my aunt heard me say that, she said, "I think Bacheng is happy when your father is not at home!" I didn't speak, I just smiled. I don't deny that what she said was wrong, and it was exactly what she said. It was true that I dared to watch TV so late because my dad was not at home, and I couldn't sleep the next morning. Otherwise, if my dad is at home, I won't dare if you lend me ten guts!
"Melon seeds?" When she saw that I didn't speak, she handed me the handy bag containing melon seeds she was carrying. I reached out and grabbed a little, and I stood next to her and knocked. "The West Mouth Chicken is here, go over and help me get rid of it!" The aunt said.
I looked up, and it was indeed a few chickens raised by Nishiguchi, and they slipped over this way. I said yes, grabbed a broom and ran over to scare, 'oh cut, oh cut'.
After I had chased the chickens away, I came back with a broom. After talking to her aunt for a while, she stood up. She said she was going to buy some food at the small shop in the south, but there was no food at noon, so I asked her to show her some here.
I nodded, and she handed me the melon seeds in her hand and told me not to cook at noon, just eat them at her side. I answered one by one, took the melon seeds in her hand, sat on the stool, and looked at the grain while eating.
During this period, my grandfather came from the east exit, saw me sitting on the field, and asked me where my aunt had gone. I told him to go to the small shop in the south to buy groceries. After hearing this, Grandpa said a little unhappily, "Isn't there all vegetables at home, what else do you want to buy?" I haven't finished eating the leftovers from last night, and I'm getting it again! I didn't speak, but watched as my grandfather took a broom and swept away some of the leaves that had been blown off by the wind.
After my grandfather finished sweeping, he went to the front, and within an hour my aunt stood at the back of the house with a bowl and called me to eat. I answered, and went forward with melon seeds and a stool.
"There's water in the washbasin, just fought!" The aunt said. I answered the call and washed my hands.
After washing his hands, he went into the house and sat down at the dining table. There were four dishes on the table, two of which were leftover from last night and two that were freshly fried. No wonder grandpa said that she didn't finish the leftovers last night and got it again! That's a lot. And she also boiled a pot of soup in her pot!
"Eat hard!" When my grandfather saw me sitting down, he said to me, "Eat all the dishes, and try not to have any leftovers!" It's so hot, don't be rancid! ”
"Pick up the leftovers and eat them first, and the leftovers can't be separated. New dishes are nothing to do at night! After hearing what my grandfather said, my aunt said.
I nodded, trying to pick up the food and vegetables. The last two leftovers were almost eaten, but the new dishes were not touched much. Seeing this, the aunt said, "It's easy to save trouble this night, just cook some porridge and hot dishes!" After hearing this, the grandfather said unhappily, "I can't eat so many dishes every day, is it delicious to eat the leftovers?" Just enough to eat, catch so much! ”
My aunt didn't know whether she was angry or not, so I listened to her reply in a salty and non-salty way, "I like to eat leftovers!" Then he ignored Grandpa's cold snort, poured the bottom of the two leftover plates together and fed the dog with some rice.
