Chapter 156: Computer Lesson
We didn't have classes in the afternoon, but the head teacher came to visit. He pasted the curriculum for our second grade on the blackboard. As soon as he posted it, some of his classmates couldn't help but want to see it. Seeing this, the head teacher said, "Two more courses have been added this semester, you should know all the books you have, right?" The classmates replied to him that they knew that it was a physics and information technology course. After hearing this, the head teacher nodded, and then said, "Physics is a main subject, you have to study hard, and you have to take the entrance exam." As for information technology, it's just a general understanding of the use of computers, not the main subject, don't you indulge in ......," the head teacher said, and gave us an example: "The grades of several students I took in the last grade were good at first, but then they became obsessed with the Internet, and their grades plummeted, and two junior high school students moved their desks home before they graduated!" You can't do that, there's nothing good in that net......"
The head teacher said, but I was puzzled. I was first introduced to the word Internet. I don't understand what its meaning is at all? Why is it that obsessed with online education will plummet? Shouldn't he be obsessed with one thing, and that thing will become his forte? Isn't the Internet a good thing? However, if it is not a good thing, why does the school still give us this course?
I didn't know why, but it wasn't until a long time later that I gradually heard some of my classmates talk about what they do online. However, due to my ignorance at that time, I only knew that I could play games and chat online......
But it's a pity that in the first two weeks of our school year, because the computer room has just been built, there is a smell in it. Our homeroom teacher used this as an excuse to take up these two classes. Although all of us complained, there was nothing we could do.
Fortunately, in the third week, our Chinese teacher came and took us into the legendary computer room. As soon as we heard the news, we couldn't say how happy we were, and the Chinese teacher asked us to take the books to the information room together.
Although the information classroom was small for us at that time, and there were more than 60 people in our class, there were only 30 computers. Most people want two for one room, and some people for three people. But even that didn't diminish our enthusiasm at that time.
The Chinese teacher first told us about the origin and development of computers, and then told us about the donation of the computer room in our school. But none of us paid attention to it, and we were all curiously fiddling with the computer in front of us, which looked like a television.
I was also very curious and Zheng Qiaoqiao next to me was holding a book and studying there. However, for the curiosity of our girls, the boys showed much indifference. I listened to Li Wei and a few boys next to me talking about what they were doing online, but I listened to what games they were playing and what they were talking about.
I'm curious, can this computer play games? What games can be played on it? I was thinking about it when the Chinese teacher said, "Let's first understand the composition of the keyboard in this lesson." I think you've already noticed that our computer keyboard is made up of a lot of letters, numbers, and some special symbols......" said the Chinese teacher, let's click on the start menu in the bottom left corner, find Programs-Accessories-WordPad, and click to open. After we adjusted the clipboard according to what he said, the Chinese teacher went on to tell us, "The most basic function of the computer is to type...... and when he said above, we were already typing on the keyboard. I watched Zheng Qiaoqiao type out a string of messy English letters, and when I turned my head to look at the side, I saw that Li Wei and they typed out Chinese characters. I wonder how they can type out Chinese characters, and we can only type letters. When I was about to ask, the Chinese teacher gave the answer. It turned out that he wanted to switch to the Chinese input method, and he said Wubi and Pinyin. I don't understand the previous one, I think it's so difficult for him to say, and he doesn't specialize in teaching computer classes. I guess he doesn't know much about it himself, so he just told us casually and let us type in pinyin. At the end of the day, he told us about some other programs in the attachment, and we girls were more interested in the sketchpad but didn't know how to do it, and finally he let us play there when there was still some time left.
Because it's two people and one computer, and I'm more passive. So I basically watched Zheng Qiaoqiao there from the side, but I didn't touch it much. At this time, she asked Li Wei where he found the game. I wanted to practice typing, but I was too embarrassed to say anything when she was playing. Finally, when class was about to end, she asked me if I wanted to play, and I shook my head and said you should play.
When the bell rang, one of our computer lessons was over. Although I was very depressed, I didn't touch the computer much in a single class, why did it end? And I've found that time flies by when it's interesting. Why do I feel a little shrunk in the past forty-five minutes? Is it really forty-five minutes? Didn't you really ring the bell for class early?
Many of my classmates are just as unsatisfied as I am, but I can't help it. What's even more pitiful is that we only have one computer class a week. I can't even compare to physical education and art classes, at least I have two classes a week.
After we reluctantly returned to the classroom, the class was already talking about what we had just learned. However, with the attitude of when we were new to computers, we basically talked about playing. Zheng Qiaoqiao was taught by Li Wei how to play games, so he showed off what games were on the computer. When a few boys saw this, they said who didn't know, and they took a few girls to talk there.
