Chapter 35: Early Morning
Bianko slept until the next day. In the meantime, Leti and Wokan had taken turns going out, almost stepping on the town's location.
They draw a rough and simple map of what they see, and then fill it in according to this large frame. While this can be tedious, it also ensures that they don't miss out on important information.
They renegotiated the way to act. The girls didn't have to go out with them every time, that would be too deliberate, but they weren't sure if the town would be comfortable letting them go out on their own. So, before going to bed, they studied the communicator that Wokan and Ranoda were using, and decided to take it out the next day and ask if there was anything similar for them to use.
Early the next morning, Kyld woke up from his slumber somewhat tiredly. Last night they had only planned to learn a little about the communicator's function, but Wokan dragged them into the middle of the night like a chicken blood, and poured out all the things he had done when he was a child.
God knows why they were listening to Vokan's nagging about it, and both he and Leti knew very well that he was just trying to make Ranoda hear it, but at that point both women were sitting drowsy next to Bianco, and KΓ―ld suspected that Lanoda hadn't listened to Wokan at all.
Probably because of the wine that Wokan had brought back, he knew that he shouldn't listen to Wokan's nonsense that "it's not high, it's just an ordinary drink", and Wokan would only think that level was boring.
I don't know what happened when they went out and made Wokan nervous......
Keild slowly opened his eyes, and when his vision became clear, he saw a familiar face. When the owner of the face noticed that he had woken up, he pulled his face away, but still stared straight at him.
ββ¦β¦ What's wrong? β¦β¦ Oh, I forgot again, you can't hear me. β
Kyild sat up with a mutter, rubbing his head a little drowsily, then propped his head on his hand and looked at Bianco, who seemed to be a little excited, with some puzzlement.
"Voice!" Bianko's tone was even more eccentric than before, "A little! β
Kyild blinked, and his gradually awakened mind finally began to turn. He watched as Biancou pointed to her own ear, and then saw her visibly happy expression, and from the two words she said, it was not difficult to think of what she was trying to express.
"Can you hear a little bit of a voice?"
However, Bianco's innocent, puzzled look at him made Kyalde put her hand over her face, and if she could only hear a little, then she couldn't hear him clearly.
"You. Hearing. Kryder looked at Bianco, pointed to her ear, and then to his own mouth, "Voice? β
Biancole nodded, her smile narrowing her eyes causing Kilde to wonder if she had lived with small animals like cats and dogs for some time.
"A little!" Bianko repeated, "I can't hear clearly." Speech. But there is a sound! β
The black eyes stared at him brightly, and Kryld paused for a moment, then reached out and patted her on the head.
"I see, okay, let me get up."
The girl sat on her knees on the edge of his bed, her hands pressed down on his quilt, and she couldn't get up even if she wanted toβand when he lifted it, he found that the silly girl had been lifted to the ground. Fortunately, he fell asleep in close-fitting clothes out of caution, otherwise the scene would have been very awkward.
Although Biancole didn't know what he was talking about, she knew what he was going to do when she saw his movements. So the girl obediently jumped back from the bed to the ground, and ran into the inner dressing room.
Kyild slowly dressed himself, looked up at the clock in his room, and saw that it was only seven o'clock in the morning. Bianco, who had slept most of the day, had slept enough, but he still had a slight headache from lack of sleep and drunkenness.
Kyild pressed his forehead hard, and he swore that he would never trust Wokan again on the matter of wine.
He stood still, relieving the discomfort in his eyes and head, and waited until Bianko came out of the inner room before he went in to wash up.
At half-past seven, Kyild and Biancole walked out of the room. He walked to the door of Wokan's room and knocked on it, and it was a few moments before Lanoda opened it softly.
"Hey, you guys woke up so early." Lanoda smiled at Bianko, then looked at Kyird, "Wokan may not be able to get up for a short time...... He drank a lot last night, and threw up on the toilet until almost dawn before falling asleep in bed. β
As she spoke, Lanoda yawned as well.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but Wokan was making too much noise, so I didn't get much sleep." Lanoda said apologetically, "It will probably be in the afternoon before we get out." β
Kyild sighed lightly and shook his head slightly.
"If you want to apologize, it should be from Wokan, and he brought the wine himself, but no one forced him to buy it, and no one poured it into it." Kyild spoke, with a strong sense of sarcasm in his tone, "I sincerely hope that when he wakes up, he will not refuse to go out with a wailing headache." β
Lanoda couldn't hold back her laughter, and when she saw that Kyild seemed to be in danger of calling Leti again, she quickly stopped him.
"Rosie and Letti's side...... It may also not be a good fit. "I'm not sure what's going on with them, but when I went to the hotel to ask for sobering pills, I heard a bit of confusion in their room. It shouldn't be a fight, maybe one of them is not very comfortable. β
The corners of his mouth twitched, and he closed his eyes before waving his hand at Lanoda.
"We'll go down to eat first, and after eating we might go out and come back at noon to see if they're awake."
Lanoda nodded, and she reached out and touched Bianco's head, which had been standing there obediently beside her, and watched them leave with a smile.
"Lano, not coming out?"
Bianko asked Kyild in a whisper, and if it weren't for his good hearing, he would have barely heard Bianko's voice. Although I said before that she should speak quietly...... But it's not so overkill.
Kyild just nodded lightly and didn't say anything more. As they sat down at the table, Kyelder unconsciously resisted the girl's curiosity about inappropriate food and thought about where he would be able to take Bianko later.
Bianko is not as able to inquire about news from others as Lanorda or Rosette, not to mention that her hearing has not yet recovered, and even if she is able to communicate with others normally, it is already a good result for her to be able to get around without being bypassed. So he couldn't take her to some of the more suspicious areas.
The center of the town is the ideal area, where the bustling business district is crowded with people. In normal times, he was still worried that Bianko would get lost, but in the early morning, there would not be so many people, as long as he kept a little attention, he should not lose a girl.
On the edge of the business district there are several schools for children of all ages that can enter, as well as a larger medical facility from which the doctors are called.
If the town is controlled by the people of Roses, the other party will never launch any large-scale or lethal attacks in such a position, because both children and sick and injured people are vulnerable, which will only anger the inhabitants of Timai Town, and the fire of those mysterious organs will also be aimed at Roses, which should not be a cost-effective action for those people.
"Are the guests going out for a while?" One of the hostesses at the inn greeted them with a smile, "Waity is doing something - I mean, there's a big mall in the center of town called Waity, and they've been active in the clothes section and cosmetics section for the last month, so the girls love to go there, and if you don't have any special plans, you might consider going there to pass the time." β
Biancole looked at her with blinking, her closed mouth still chewing on her food. Kyild put down the glass of water in his hand and asked the waiter, seemingly casually, the question.
"Is there any other place in town worth visiting?"
"Yes, of course." "If you have a taste for food, you can go to the street next to Waitysti, which is full of delicious snacks." Schools in the vicinity of the business district are open to the public on non-weekdays, but you can also see the campus environment from the outside on weekdays. If you're looking for a view, consider heading west of town, but don't get too close to the westernmost garden, which is abandoned and infested with wild animals, and your girlfriend may not like it. β
Kyild nodded, thanked the waiter, and let her go. The waiter's answer didn't sound like a problem, and it didn't seem like he was deliberately guiding him to where to go, maybe he could indeed go to the business district to pass the time first, as she said.
He looked at Bianco, who was already finished eating, wiping her mouth with a tissue, and then fixed his gaze on her dress.
"She's just a guilty person."
"Go change out of this outfit, it's not something you should wear."
Kyild pursed his lips, and now remembering what he had said to the girl before, he always felt an indescribable discomfort in his heart. Even though he knew that Bianko didn't understand what he meant, he still felt guilty that he had scolded the girl so harshly.
At that time, when he saw Bianco, he could only think of Giardo, and then remembered that the woman had deceived him for money. If the other party had succeeded at that time, maybe Ji Aduo would have dressed like this, and even dressed more luxuriously to show off proudly in front of him, this kind of imagination made him unbearable.
But that's not fair to Bianko.
"Okay." Kryd looked at Biancole and whispered, "Now that I'm aware of this problem, I can't run away like a shrunken turtle, can I?" β
Bianko looked at him suspiciously, but Kyelder had no intention of explaining, he just reached for Bianko's hair and left the hotel with her.
