Chapter 5: The Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley
Listening to the noise of his father downstairs gradually lowered, Erfanlin's mood was simply terrible, his father had never been so fierce to little Erfanlin, because little Erfanlin was very well-behaved, so today's Mr. Al is the first time to see him. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info
With loss and unwillingness, little Al Van Lin lay on his bed, at this moment, he didn't want to do anything, he just wanted to lie like this. His head had become a mess, and with his imagination and longing for the wizarding world, before he knew it, little Al Van Lin fell asleep on the bed.
Night always comes quickly, and the starlight gradually drives away the scorching heat of the summer sun. The silvery white light replaced the darkness in the bedroom due to the arrival of night!
The door creaked open, and Mr. Al entered little Elfanlin's room.
Standing at the head of his son's bed, looking at his son's sleeping face, Mr. Al's heart felt a ripple, there was bitterness, uneasiness, and a trace of reluctance, compared to the beginning, when Al's mother left, Mr. Al's eyes were less afraid!
Gently touched little Elfanlin's face, "It looks like his mother!" muttered softly, for fear of waking up the sleeping Elfanlin.
Maybe it's because the movements are not gentle enough, after all, it is still a little too difficult for an adult man's hand to do these subtle things.
Little Alvanlin opened his eyes and saw his father sitting at the head of the bed, and just wanted to ask something excitedly, and then remembered his father's attitude today, half-lowered his eyes, and asked timidly: "Dad, Mr. Dumbledore, and Professor McGonagall are gone." The voice was as thin as a mosquito and a fly, and little Erfanlin was afraid of angering his father again, but he still asked a little unwillingly.
"Oh yes, Van Lin. Mr. Eyre came back to his senses, his eyes a little dazed, but soon came to his senses, "Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall are gone, and at about 6 o'clock in the evening, I have already entertained President Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall to dinner. The rest is still in the kitchen, so you can keep it, and if you're hungry, you can go down and eat some!"
Mr. Al, smiling, put his hand on little Alfanlin's head and rubbed it, then put his hand on the side of the bed, staring at little Alfanlin's eyes, and said, "Fanlin, Dad asks you a question, okay?"
"Ask, Daddy. Little Al Vanlin still had a depressed face.
"What do you think about magic, or if you know magic, tell me, it's important, Van Lin. β
Looking at his father's eyes staring at him, little Elfanlin felt a little nervous and uneasy. He just wanted to open his mouth to answer the concept of magic that Mr. El had been instilling in him, but in Mr. Al's serious eyes, little Alfanlin wanted to lie, but he couldn't.
"Wingardium Leviosa (WingardiumLeviosa). β
With the thought of the incantation, a chair in the room slowly rose into the air as little Elvanlin's arm was raised.
Mr. Al looked at the performance of his son in front of him in surprise, and then there was another kind of relieved mentality, which made Mr. Al feel a little relaxed in his heart!
"Okay, Van Lin, I see, I don't think I need to ask you any more questions, I agree with you to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to study magic. β
There was a "bang", the chair fell to the ground, and Mr. Al also understood that over the years, little Al had always touched the origin of things, and couldn't help but smile bitterly and shook his head.
"Really! Uh, I mean, you really let me go to Dean Dunbridore to study magic?"
Little Alvanlin looked a little at a loss, he didn't expect what method Dean Dumbledore used to get his father to agree to learn magic by himself.
Looking at his happy and helpless son in front of him, Mr. Al also understood that all this was predestined, a fate that he could not resist as an ordinary person.
"Yes, Van Lin, I agree, you go downstairs and eat dinner first, it's already more than seven o'clock, if you don't go to dinner, you will spend the night hungry!"
"Okay, Dad, I'm going to eat!"
Little Alfanlin, who rolled out of bed and shouted that I was going to learn magic, ran down the stairs in a hurry.
Watching the back of his son running downstairs. Mr. Al was stunned for a long time, and then, as if relieved. Just smiled and went down the stairs......
"London Station is about to arrive, so please bring your belongings and wait to get off the train. β
The train slowly pulled into the platform of the London railway station and got on the train. Down two figures, one big and one small!
"Dad, we're going to find the Leaky Cauldron first, shall we?"
The man looked down at his watch, and it was ten forty in the morning. I took out the map and searched carefully.
"Yes, Van Lin, we're going to go to the Leaky Cauldron first, Dean Dunbrido told me that the people there will take us to Diagon Alley to buy the props you need. β
"And wands, Daddy!"
"Well, yes, and a wand!" Mr. Al took little Erlinfan's hand, and followed the instructions on the map, reversing several buses back and forth, before he found this necessary location, the Leaky Cauldron, in a small and inconspicuous corner of London.
An old wooden plaque hangs from a black façade and a protruding iron pipe with a wooden beer mug hanging from it. Looking into the translucent window, the dim light flickered. The whole bar reveals an atmosphere of age, which looks dim and dilapidated, which is not as good as the clothes of the two.
"Van Lin, I think this should be here, I really don't understand, why there are such dilapidated little bars in London!"
"Alright, Daddy, let's get inside!"
Little Al Van Lin obviously couldn't hold back the curiosity and excitement in his heart, took Mr. Al's hand, and pushed open the old door of the Leaky Cauldron.
As soon as they entered, the bell rang to the sound of the bell, and the room turned their heads to look at the pair who were clearly not wizards. The dim light made the whole room seem lifeless.
Mr. Al was obviously not very comfortable, and pulled little Alvanlin to the bartender's bar, and put his hand on the wooden bar.
"Sir, I asked, what do you need?" The bartender quickly put away the unnaturalness on his face, and he couldn't understand how a Muggle could find him.
"I have come to bring my children here to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies on the instructions of Mr. Arbus Denbrido, and Mr. Arbus says that you can be helped, and this is a letter from Mr. Arbus to you. β
The bartender took the letter and read it carefully.
"Oh, it's an honor, Mr. Al, and our new sweet little wizard sir. We'd love to help!"
The bartender read the letter and said to Mr. Al with a smile on his face: "Mr. Al, this side is clear, I will take you to exchange the currency of the wizarding world." I'll take you to Diagon Alley later, I think. You're going to be an eye-opener!"
The bartender took Mr. Al and Van Lin to the next room, and after exchanging pounds for gold galleons, led them backstage through the bar to a thick wall.
"Daddy, this gentleman is going to take us there, isn't he going to Diagon Alley?" little Al was puzzled when he saw the wall in front of him, and he tilted his head and whispered to his father.
"Wait a minute, my sweet little wizard, you'll see the magical side in no time, and the magic is fun uh uh, stand back, my little wizard sir. The bartender smiled and drew a wand, and motioned for the father and son to stand back, and the little Elfanlin's eyes had begun to light up when he saw the wand, and he felt that the next glance would be an eye-opener for him.
I saw the bartender take out his wand and regularly point the stone bricks around the gap in a gap in the wall. Suddenly, the entire wall began to roll through the gaps in both sides, and a glare of sunlight shone through the gaps that had spread out as a result of the tumbling.
