Chapter 8: SCP-RU-166
In the darkness where her fingers could not be seen, a tiny point of light loomed, and the girl's head twisted towards it.
She tried to reach out and grab the summer-like firefly, but the firefly flew away again, and instead grabbed her delicate arm with one hand.
The girl exclaimed and stepped back, she couldn't see anything in the darkness, but another hand grabbed it, and she was terrified.
"Don't be afraid, my girl!"
A clear voice sounded in the girl's ear, and the girl stood still, looking at the shining point of light in disbelief.
"Take it easy, after spending so much time in the dark, you must be desperate for the light, do you want to see the outside world?"
The man gently let go of her hand, but instead hugged her delicate body and carried her to the soft bed.
"Hmm!" the girl nodded.
"Then you can come with me then, let's go to the outside world to find light, take a look at the mountains, rivers and seas, sunrise and sunset!"
The man's voice is very seductive to the girl, and she has long wanted to go out and see the outside world.
She had been imprisoned here for too long, her father had abandoned her, and no one cared about her.
There are only a few cold voices every day, asking if there are too many ups and downs in your emotions.
But in such a dark environment, what ups and downs, she could only lie on the bed, holding a soft bear, and spend every day dizzy.
If there's anything better, it's that every day the radio will play a little light music for her on time, and after the music is over, there will be some fairy tales.
That's a story about princes and princesses.
She dreamed of the magnificent castles countless times, of the handsome prince on a white horse and with a sword, and of the dreamy wedding.
In her eyes, the world seems to be as wonderful as a fairy tale.
But at the same time, the beauty is endless, and she can't leave, and she will always be locked up in a small dark room.
No one told her what she had done wrong to be locked up, no one cared about her, she longed for the light too much.
"Then please wait for me a little bit, and I'll take you out of here when the time comes!"
A glimmer of light flickered in the darkness, and a handsome face became clear, then suddenly extinguished.
But just for a moment, the girl remembered this face, and she vowed to run away and live the life of an ordinary girl.
She would go to see if the outside world was full of flowers, if the prince's castle was inhabited, if there were dwarfs in every forest, instead of being insensitive to the darkness all day long.
She was determined to change that, and now her opportunity has finally come.
"You have to count when you talk!"
The girl's voice is clear and pleasant, and you can imagine what a beautiful little beauty this is.
"Definitely!
The man vanished after saying this, and the world fell back into darkness and silence.
The girl got up from the bed and walked around, a little trendy.
She pursed her thin lips and slowly closed her hands together, praying that this was not a hallucination caused by her own demons.
In the monitoring room, the surveillance personnel yawned, and they kept their eyes on the inside of the shelter.
Except for the entry of a team of managers who had been conducting routine inspections just now, no special activities have been found for the time being.
"Hey, Paul, do you need coffee? Stay up late, it's coffee beans flown in from Brazil, all of them are high-quality freshly ground!"
A man next to him tapped Paul on the shoulder, and Paul stretched, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.
"Okay, man, by the way, a bottle of vodka, I don't have it, I can't survive this cold night!"
The man smiled and walked out of the surveillance room, and Paul turned back to stare at the inside of the surveillance room.
As long as he survives the first half of the night, someone will come to take over his shift in the second half of the night, and then he can sleep in peace.
Working a few hours a day pays well, which is definitely a good career for anyone, as long as you do a good job of secrecy.
Suddenly, he saw a little light on in the containment chamber designated SCP-RU-166, an unusual scene that Paul saw, and Paul frowned.
"What's going on!!Why is there a light flashing in 166!"
Paul's face leaned towards the monitor, but the light only flickered and nothing unusual happened.
The state of the containment inside the concrete was also normal, except that the heart rate was slightly higher for a short time, and then slowly decreased to normal values.
Puzzled, Paul finally decided to document the anomaly and report it to the Site Director in case of a containment breach.
"What's the matter, man, you don't seem right, is something wrong?"
The guy just walked in with coffee and vodka.
However, the black coffee was sprinkled on his hand, and so was on the white shirt, and Paul looked back and didn't pay attention.
"There was something unusual in the 166 shelter just now, and I'm going to report this to the site director so that they can send someone to take a look!"
Paul took the coffee and took a sip, and the bitter and fragrant taste instantly filled his mouth, warm and comfortable.
"You're talking about the shelter of SCP-RU-166, as if she's called the 'Eye of Calamity'!"
The man recalled, and Paul nodded, "No one knows what she looks like, because anyone she sees is dead, except her father." ”
"His father is Dr. A!" the man said, putting the vodka on the table.
"yes, the one who is famous in the Foundation, because of the blizzard, he shouldn't have left the shelter by now!"
Paul continued to take a sip, and the man behind him nodded thoughtfully.
Paul had just put down his coffee cup and was about to open the vodka and drink it when a tingling pain came from his chest, and he subconsciously wiped it towards his chest.
He felt for a cold knife that was covered in blood, and the blood was dripping warmly on his thigh.
Paul's eyes rolled and he tried to yell out, but a hand covered his mouth, his body twitched for a while, and he collapsed.
The man smiled coldly, turned his body over, and fixed his eyes on Paul's face, and a horrific scene occurred.
His face churned, squirming and contracting, revealing hideous flesh and blood, and finally Paul's face.
He touched his new face, and as Paul remembered, he quickly found the site director's room and knocked on the door.
"Director, are you in there?"
The door opened, and the site director walked out, looking at the staff he knew well, and asked, "What's the matter! Why are you here for me if you don't keep a good guard over the monitoring room?"
"Director, no, there is an anomaly in SCP-RU-166's room, and I have passed the relevant information to you, but I haven't recovered from you, so I came to tell you!"
The director turned on the computer, only to realize that there was indeed an unread message, and the surveillance screen appeared in it, and the 166 shelter flashed up.
"It's not going to be a good thing!" the director's face became serious.
"What should we do?" he asked.
"Send MTF Nine-Tailed Fox agents to the area to check on it, I'll report to O5 and raise the risk level of SCP-RU-166!
As he spoke, the director sat down in his chair and began to convey information and issue orders, when he noticed that his hands were suddenly frozen, and the director looked at the man in shock.
The man didn't know why, he turned into Lu Haitian's appearance, and with a movement of his fingers, a bone-chilling cold rose all over his body, and even his thoughts were frozen, and finally he fell stiffly to the ground.
He walked up to the director, looked him in the eyes, put his hand on the director's head, and reproduced all his memory information.
Finally, in his capacity as Site Director, he sent a message to the O5 Council, "Containment breach of all containment in the Siberian Area. ”
Soon the 05 council sent in to communicate.
But no one answered on the other end of the communication, and in the empty room, the director of the site was lying in the middle of it, and soon the communication hung up.
He took on the form of the site director and walked into the hallway, where the entire containment chamber had not found anything unusual and was still asleep.
When he went out, he met Lu Haitian and the others, greeted them politely, and walked past them.
"Is that the Site Director?" Lime glanced at the man.
"That's right, didn't we see each other during the previous meeting, what's wrong?" Lu Haitian glanced at Lime suspiciously.
"It's so late, where is he going, he can't have discovered us!" Lime asked with some uneasiness as she hugged the child in her hand.
Saying this, Lu Haitian also felt that something was wrong, they walked over with a child in their arms, and the site director didn't have any doubts at all?
"Probably not, if we found out, it wouldn't have let us go so easily, I guess we would be surrounded by MTF when we came out" Turner smiled.
Of course, he didn't want the matter to be revealed, otherwise it would be light for them to be amnesticized, and it was not impossible for them to be executed.
"No matter, anyway, let's wait for the snowstorm to stop and leave!" Lu Haitian took a deep breath and walked to the place where they were resting.
Knock knock knock......
A sharp knock on the door woke Dr. A, who got up from his bed and asked, "Who?"
"It's me!"
The site director's voice was still very distinguishable, and Dr. A reacted quickly.
"Director, is there something going on at such a late hour?" said Dr. A, frowning.
"Look at this, something seems wrong with your daughter!" he handed the effect to Dr. A, who frowned, "What's going on, why is there light in his room?"
"We're working on this too, I've informed the O5 Council, and the MTF has been dispatched!" he said with a straight face.
"I'm going to take a look!" Dr. A said as he grabbed Dr. A's hand.
"Doctor, for your safety, you can't go!" his voice was emotionless, and there was no flaw in it.
"Hehe! Everybody can go, but can't I? So far, I'm the only one who can neutralize SCP-RU-166's abilities, so why can't I!" Dr. A growled.
His eyes flashed, "Neutralization, why haven't you talked to the council about this?"
"Do I need to explain so much to them?" Dr. A said exasperatedly, shaking off the director's hand.
Dr. A is well aware of the consequences of dispatching the MTF, and if they can't capture it safely, they will terminate their daughter, and they must not allow such a thing to happen.
"Hehe, Doctor—" the director smiled grimly.
Dr. A suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest, and a dagger had pierced his back, piercing his chest.
"You—" Dr. A's eyes widened with rage.
