Chapter 879: The Race Is Coming

Harry felt as if there had been some talisman in his heart for the last two weeks, an exciting secret that had sustained him through Umbridge's lessons, and made him look attentive even when he looked at Umbridge's pesky bulging eyes.

He and DA rebelled against Umbridge right under her nose, doing exactly what she and the Ministry of Magic feared the most.

When he pretended to read the Defence Against the Dark Arts book in class, he would recall with satisfaction the DA's recent gatherings, how Neville had managed to disarm Hermione, how Thomas had mastered the obstacle charm after three lessons, and how Emily had turned the speculum on the table to dust with a perfect reduction charm.

Still, Harry felt a little regretful about setting a fixed time for the meeting. This is because they have to adjust to the training time of three different Quidditch teams, and the training time is often rescheduled due to bad weather. But Harry thought it was good, he had a feeling that it would be better to have irregular party times, and that if someone was watching them, it would make it difficult for them to get away with it.

This is thanks to the gold coins of Van Lin, which are simply the gospel for Harry to spend every night, not only with everyone's information, but more importantly, with two people talking alone......

Oh, of course, that's not the point, the point is, on the second day of the party, Angelina was reinstated as captain of the team, and the Gryffindor team was regrouped.

Well, that's the point.

Of course, it wasn't just Harry who was happy, in fact, the number of people on the list was increasing every week, even Slytherin, which was the most unexpected for Van Lin, and Laura brought one of her first year elementary girls on board.

Speaking of which, this girl is still from the Pendragon family, as a family that has produced several emperors in Europe, her arrival is extremely unexpected for Van Lin.

This was much better than the Malfoy family, and in Slytherin, where the family was ranked, the girl didn't seem to have many friends.

What is certain is that the family does not seem to be supporting Voldemort's appearance, otherwise the youngest girl of the Pendragon family would not be mixed with them.

Or is it purely personal?

Regardless, everyone was happy to have the two Slytherins on board, especially the two very beautiful girls, and Laura had a few Gryffindor friends herself.

Nothing could disrupt the continuation of the revolt, though, except for ......

The first season of Quidditch was approaching, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, and the DA party had been postponed due to Angelina's insistence on practicing every day.

In fact, the fact that the Quidditch Cup has not been held for a long time has made everyone even more excited and looking forward to the tournament.

Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are looking forward to the outcome and, of course, for them, no matter what the outcome, they will play against both teams next year.

And the deans of the colleges, despite their attempts to disguise this with a sportsmanship, hope that their side will win.

When Professor McGonagall gave up on giving them homework a week before the competition, everyone realized how serious and somewhat endearing the professor was about beating Slytherin in the competition.

"I'm sure you're ready now," Professor McGonagall said, looking up haughtily. No one believed their ears until Professor McGonagall looked at Harry and Ron seriously and said, "I'm used to the Quidditch Championship being won by our house, boys, I don't want to give it to Professor Snape, so use this extra time to practice, you know?"

Snape was very clearly biased in favour of the Slytherins, and he frequently booked driving ranges for Slytherin, making it difficult for Gryffindor players to book a field to practice.

He also pretended not to hear rumors that Slytherin were casting spells on Glendenda players in the hallway.

When Arya entered the hospital, quickly obscuring her vision and covering her mouth as her eyebrows grew thicker, Snape ignored the testimony of 4 witnesses who had seen Slytherin's goalkeeper McClay attack her behind her back while she was reading in the library, insisting that Arya must have tried to cast a hair-increasing charm on herself.

The craze for Quidditch was inevitable even for Professor Snape, and it gave Van Lin a lot of experience, especially as Umbridge was gaining momentum.

Harry, on the other hand, was optimistic that Gryffindor would win.

Either way, they never lost to Malfoy's side.

Admittedly, Ron wasn't at the same level as Wood, but he was already working very hard. His biggest weakness is that he loses confidence easily after one mistake, panics if he misses a ball, and then makes more mistakes.

On the other hand, Van Lin saw that he had seen Ron save a lot of good balls in training. In one memorable practice, Ron used one hand to control the broomstick and slam the Quaffle off the goal, flying across the entire court and through the center of the other side.

The rest of the squad thought the save could be compared to the recent save by Ireland international goalkeeper Bobbs, Poland's best chaser Bruno Murphy.

Even Fred said that he and George might still be proud of Ron, and that they would seriously consider acknowledging Ron as their relative, which they have been denying for four years.

And Harry's only real concern was that Ron would be annoyed by Slytherin's psychological tactics before he even hit the pitch, Harry, of course, he had put up with Slytherin's dastardly stuff for four years, so things like

"Hi Potter, I heard Cecil swear he'd knock you off the broomstick on Saturday. ”

Far from making Harry angry, such words only made him laughable.

"Cecil's accuracy is terrible, and I might be a little more worried if he were targeting the guy next to me. Harry retorted.

These words made Van Lin, Hermione, and Ron all laugh, and the smirk on Xorry's face suddenly disappeared.

But Ron never endured being mercilessly insulted, teased, and threatened.

When the Slytherins, some seventh-year boys much bigger than him, whispered "Have you booked a bed at the hospital, Weasley?" as he passed through the hallway, he didn't smile, his face turned a little blue.

When Malfoy mimics Ron's accidental drop of the Quaffle (which he does every time they meet), Ron's ears are hot and red, and his hands are shaking so much that whatever he is holding at the time will fall.
