preface
First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading.
Introduce myself first, I am not a professional writer, and I don't support my family by writing books, writing martial arts novels is purely a hobby.
I believe that those who love martial arts do not know the four great Jin Guliang Wen.
I remember that the first time I came into contact with Mr. Jin Yong's "Tianlong Babu" in junior high school, it was plausible at that time, at least at that time, I didn't understand why the Han people had to reject the Khitans, and even wanted to kill them quickly, but I still secretly shed tears a few times for Qiao Feng's suicide.
I'm not a person who loves to cry, but all Jin Yong's novels, except for "The Story of Deer and Ding", there are almost no people who don't cry.
I fell in love with martial arts, and it was from the Golden Book that I started.
Later, I tried to get into Gu Long's novels. Mr. Gu Long does not have the profound traditional cultural heritage of Jin Yong, and he is not as all-encompassing as Jin Shu, and even the male protagonists are of the same type, such as Lu Xiaofeng and Chu Liuxiang, if the difference between the two is not a deep comparison, or a loyal Gu Long fan, I really can't say a few differences.
Perhaps my knowledge of Gu Long was still very shallow when I read Gu Long, and I was obsessed with the optimism and open-mindedness of the male protagonists in ancient books, as well as the trust between friends who are almost hard to find in society, such as Chu Liuxiang and Hu Tiehua.
Later, I began to like to download all kinds of martial arts e-books on the Internet, and in addition to playing online games in my spare time, I read these e-books. My obsession with martial arts, to use an inappropriate analogy, is no less than a drug addict's dependence on drugs. Of course, to put it nicely, martial arts novels are one of my spiritual food.
The reason why I say it is because I am infatuated with Han Han, the national father-in-law. Han Han's books, blogs, and **, there are no ones that I don't pay attention to. Even when he made the unsatisfactory movie "After the End", I would write an analysis, and the discussion with the bar friends was in full swing in the post bar.
The only martial arts novel Han Han has ever written is "Chang'an Chaos".
This "I am a monk" is influenced by Han Han's "Chang'an Chaos", you can see many of the same elements in "I am a monk": for example, the two factions of water and fire are incompatible, Wudang and Shaolin, for example, the heroes are all orphans and learn art in Shaolin, for example, they are all written in the first person......
After reading "Chang'an Rebellion", I had the idea of writing. However, what really motivated me to start writing came from my dear friend, Zhu Junjie.
Again, I have to thank Zhu Junjie, I started with him on a construction site, yes, my profession is civil engineering. When I happened to see him writing a long novel, "Edge of the Desert" (unfortunately I've been urging it to this day, and he has written more than two million words in the archive, but has never published it on any website), he told me that he had three goals in life - to write a novel, to create his own music album, and to buy a fancy SUV. I was deeply affected by his words, yes, I should also have my own goals in life. Since I want to write a witty and funny novel similar to the style of "Chang'an Chaos", I should follow Zhu Junjie's example and write it persistently.
A few days ago, I communicated with Zhu Junjie, and I said that martial arts novels have declined, and now the popular ones are fantasy and Xianxia. Zhu Junjie did not give up, he said that as long as the quality of martial arts books is excellent, there is no worry that no one will read them, and he believes that martial arts is the king. So, after a few chapters and few clicks at first, I decided to keep "I Am a Monk" serialized.
That's why this novel came about.
I am very grateful to every reader who has persevered in the martial arts section so far, my book "I Am a Monk" has 15,000 hits and more than 300 collections as of today, far exceeding my original expectations.
I'm writing it, and thank you for keeping reading. Like me, you are a group of people who truly love martial arts.
In addition, I originally proposed to name this novel "Nan Wujian", because Nan Wujian is the clue that runs through this novel, and the story also starts with the male protagonist looking for the owner of this sword, and finally has no choice but to change it to "I am a monk", because I am afraid that "Nan Wujian" will seem too traditional, because anyway, my novel is not traditional.
Finally, I hope that those who dive silently to read my novels can register an account at the starting point, post more comments on the book in the book review area, and correct the deficiencies in the article one by one, so that I can revise them. Of course, it would be better if you could give me a recommendation and put the book on the shelf.
