Prologue Chapter 1 - Strange Dreams

The door to the Pig and Rose Tavern was pushed open, and the December wind rushed into the warm room. The drinkers tightened their clothes in disgust and looked at the person - a man in a large felt hat. The dim light of the tavern could only make a small half of his face visible, but it was enough to make people lose interest—ordinary, no different from the middle-aged, greasy drinkers in the tavern.

Samuel put down the Compendium of the History of Modern Wars in his hand and began to fulfill his duties as a bartender, asking the visitor what he wanted, but the visitor waved his hand to indicate that he did not need to, and motioned to the tavern keeper Suffron, Samuel's adoptive father, who seemed to know the man's intentions and waved his hand to his bedroom upstairs, and then pulled Samuel into the bedroom.

Samuel was a little reluctant, and two days later it was the entrance exam to the Air Force Academy, and he still had a lot to review. But he knew his adoptive father's temper, sighed and followed the two upstairs.

Suffron motioned for the man in the felt hat and Samuel to sit down on the chair at the edge of the table, and poured himself a cup of coffee for each of them. The man took off his coat and hung it casually on the coat rack, feeling still a little hot, and then rolled up the sleeves of his shirt.

"Why can't you wait until the beginning of spring to call me?, do you know how bad the weather is now?", the man complained. The sound of the wind whistling outside the window proves that the man is right.

"Because I can't wait...... Did you bring any of the things?"

Samuel sat next to him without saying a word, listening somewhat absentmindedly to the conversation between the two. His mind was still immersed in the various test points of the Air Force Academy entrance exam. He has been very interested in floating ships since he was a child, and he has finally reached the age where he can apply for the military academy, for which he has been preparing for a year, but when the exam is approaching, facing other candidates from a family of generals, Samuel, who was born in a civilian family, is still not completely sure, so he plans to pass the exam again in the last few days.

"Of course...... In fact, I've been waiting for this day for a long time...", the man silently reached into the pocket of the lining of the trench coat and groped for a while.

Something that seemed to be important, it managed to pique Samuel's curiosity and draw his attention away from the entrance exams and back to the cottage.

The man clumsily tried to pull something out of his pocket, but it seemed to be a bit big and stuck in the mouth of his pocket. The man tossed for a while, and finally pulled out a brand new ...... Soap.

Samuel:???????

Safron looked at the soap on the table, his eyebrows couldn't help jumping, and then he looked deeply into the man's eyes, and the man nodded slightly, with an indescribable smile on the corner of his mouth. Samuel seemed to read a different kind of ...... from the eyes of the two Gentle?

Then, two pairs of thick hands clasped tightly together. The candlelight on the table flickered, reflecting the lush body hair on the thick arms of the two strong men, and even across a table, Samuel seemed to be able to smell a ...... The taste of men

The shadows of the trees outside the house are swaying, and the soap is fragrant inside.

The two stout men held their arms together, but their faces were getting closer and closer.

Samuel found that things had gone completely beyond his expectations, and were rushing towards some strange fictional plot.

"You... Where are you?"

Safron and the man turned their heads sharply when they heard the sound, and looked at Samuel with strange eyes that seemed to have a kind of teasing in them. Samuel was shocked. Several inappropriate scenes flashed through my mind for a moment, and as soon as I wanted to say something, I felt a vibration in the room.

"Huh, what's going on?"

Immediately after, the floor, the walls, and the ceiling quickly became fragmented, and even the starry sky and the bright moon outside the window were full of cracks... And then the whole world just fell apart......

Samuel lifted the quilt with a snort, and when he touched his back, the sweat was already soaking through his pajamas.

"It's this strange dream again... How many times has this been?"

Since last year, Samuel has had this dream every once in a while. He clearly remembered that the last time he had this dream was two months ago, and the plot in the dream was almost exactly the same as this time, the only difference was that in the last dream, the man with the felt hat took out of his pocket not soap, but a bottle of lube...

These dreams are both real and magical. The truth is that Safron is indeed Samuel's adoptive father, the Pig and the Rose Tavern is indeed his adoptive father's asset, and the tavern is decorated and laid out exactly as in his dreams. And the magic lies in the fact that he has never seen the man with the felt hat, let alone the plot that the masses like to see later.

Forget it, it's just a dream anyway......

Leaving that annoying weird dream behind, Samuel looked at the clock on the wall, 5:47. It's not dawn yet, but it's time to get up. With a dazed head, Samuel began to walk to the bathroom. Along the way, I accidentally bumped into my desk, and a stack of books on my desk fell to the floor. Samuel scolded and picked them up. "Principles of Advanced Change", "Advanced Protective Spells", "Soul Circle Carving...... Packing up these books, Samuel couldn't help but sigh, he was confident that he was more familiar with these arcane knowledge than ninety percent of high-level mages, but he might not be able to become a high-level mage in his lifetime. His ability to perceive the laws is too poor, he can only barely feel some low-level laws, and the affinity of magic is also worrying, he can only vaguely feel the existence of magic power, with this terrible talent, he is already very lucky to be able to become a full-level mage, and the high-level realm really shouldn't be too forced...

He staggered to the bathroom and looked in the mirror for a moment. The man in the mirror has silver-gray hair, a face that may be called young and handsome, but unfortunately the unkempt style has caused a scruffy beard, and a pair of eyes that look dull due to lack of sleep, completely concealing the only handsomeness.

But so what? No one around dared to comment on Samuel's appearance to his face, and as for the discussion behind it, as long as he couldn't hear it, and there were many things that deserved to be discussed, each of which was more exciting and energetic than his own raunchy style, and Samuel had become accustomed to it for so many years.

Thirty minutes later, Samuel, who had finished washing, put on his coat, which was a black coat with a golden epaulette on each shoulder, an iris on each shoulder, and a gold star on the epaulette, reminding others of the identity of the owner - Major General of the Kalin Imperial Air Force, Acting Commander of the 23rd Floating Fleet of the Kalin Empire's Guleg Theater of Operations.
