Section D, Chapter 22: The Transformer - Part I (Seresia)
Mad Dog clenched the hilt of the sword vigilantly and held it to his chest: I must snatch it then...... Something that can be invisible must not be left in the hands of the enemy.
Beware of enemy cloaking and teleportation...... Keeping pace with her enemies, Cereya and the Corruptor keep a safe distance and avoid active attacks: the reason why the stabbing sword is so difficult to dodge is that the elbow movement is extremely small. Therefore, when facing an enemy armed with a bayonet, the best thing to do is to keep an eye on his elbows and shoulders.
In this way, you must also be careful not to stare him in the eyes...... Mad Dog gritted his teeth and cursed in his heart: Damn, I don't have any advantages at all, it's really unfair.
However...... Looking at the lunge-staging enemy in front of her, Cereya's eyes narrowed: it really looked like a "fair" swordsman duel. But unfortunately, what he hates most is fair and innocent fighting.
It's a pity. You've found the wrong opponent, Corruptor...... Mad Dog sneered in his heart: I don't know how many guys Lao Tzu killed by mistake in the sword duel. Soon, you'll have to be added to the account.
Highly tensed, the mad dog stared intently at the enemy. The man finally took the lead in losing his breath, and his elbows shook suddenly.
Immediately raise your weapon to parry with your gauntlet, and the enemy's stabbing weapon is deflected. With a small continuous swing of the sword, the mad dog lunged forward with arrows, and quickly slashed two blows.
Observing the enemy's evasive stance, Mad Dog bent his arm and drew his sword and stepped back. Straightening up his blade and lowering his body, Mad Dog tentatively stabbed his sword again, smashing into the enemy's blade.
With the sound of metal cliding, the enemy quickly raised his sword and picked off the mad dog's weapon. Immediately pressing down on his weapon to smash the thrust, he quickly retreated, once again out of range.
The enemy pressed his body down and raised his sword flat to the throat of the mad dog. Faced with an attacking enemy, Seresa took a slight half step back and smashed away the enemy's weapon with a single sword. In response, the opponent immediately pressed forward and swung a diagonal blow.
Smashing the sword again, Mad Dog pinned his wrist and retaliated with light force. With a concussion from the wrist, the enemy swung away from the attack and took a step back, then stood silently in place.
Staring at the enemy's movements, Mad Dog keenly caught the slight shaking of his body. Sure enough, the Corruptor suddenly went into action: after flicking his sword, he quickly circled around the mad dog and launched a swift stab.
Barely dodging the attack sideways, Mad Dog smashed his sword down, parrying another thrust. However, the enemy who seized the opportunity immediately replenished another sword and struck the mad dog in the thigh.
Raising her left leg to dodge the sword, Ceresya kicked straight down to intercept a fourth combo in the air. With the force of his right leg, Mad Dog spun around and kicked over the enemy who had just withdrawn his sword.
However, before he could rush forward to understand the enemy, the man rolled to his feet and regained his center of gravity. All this movement was extremely fast, and the mad dog was shocked for a while: how is this so similar to my way of getting up?
This guy is tough to deal with...... Mad Dog gritted his teeth and glared at the sword in his enemy's hand: But this trophy is worth my effort...... Although the double-stabbed sword is neither useful nor productive, it can be kept as a backup.
Constantly flicking his weapon, Mad Dog launches several feints in quick succession to test the enemy's footwork and parrying habits: when both sides are using speed-oriented bayonets, you must not attack blindly. Even the slightest flaw can immediately become an Achilles' heel – and it's definitely the last mistake you can make in your life.
Shaking his sword, he took half a step, and the mad dog slashed at the enemy's neck slightly. The attack was instantly shattered, and the Corruptor immediately unleashed a swift counter-slash. After the Mad Dog successfully dodged, it continued to retreat to assist in the parry - the enemy pressed in and unleashed a barrage of slashing stabs.
After taking a few steps back, Mad Dog finally seized the gap in the enemy's attack and counterattacked. After blocking another large slash, he stepped forward and stabbed a sword at a rapid pace.
The enemy apparently had no room to dodge, but he turned to the side, allowing his shoulder to take the blow instead of his heart.
Finished...... Mad Dog panicked: if he didn't kill with one hit, he would easily be counterattacked by the enemy.
Before he could draw his sword, the enemy's weapons struck with a roar. As a last resort, Ceresya had no choice but to let go of the hilt of her sword and dodge with a sliding step.
Dodging three stabs in quick succession, Mad Dog lunged forward and punched his foe's wrist, causing the weapon to deviate from its original trajectory. Pulling out the blade that stabbed in his left shoulder, Mad Dog leaped back quickly, smashing his opponent's thrust before hitting the ground.
As soon as the boot touched the ground, he took a step backwards and used the force of recoil to launch another surprise attack. After two unsuccessful slashes, Mad Dog feints to flick a sword and slides sideways to the side to attack again. However, even such a surprise attack had no effect at all - the man easily dodged it, and immediately distanced himself.
There are no flaws...... Mad Dog muttered in his heart: This is difficult. Once caught in a protracted war, the physical strength of humans is definitely not as good as that of the corrupted. My movements will only get slower and slower, and the longer I drag on, the worse it will become.
If he had the bayonet in his possession, why didn't he use stealth and teleportation? Swinging another attack, Mad Dog became more and more suspicious: Anyway, he should be able to use this bayonet better than I can.
Do you want a fair one-on-one duel? The mad dog scoffed at it: only a knight's fool would stick to formality. In any case, he must have a reason not to be invisible.
Distracted slightly, Mad Dog glanced at the footprints that had just been left on the snow: stealth in the snow didn't have much effect. All it takes is to look at the ground to find the Invisible.
But isn't this guy able to leave no footprints? Becoming more and more puzzled, the mad dog kept backing away to distance himself: as he had just done, lure him to strike first. Only then did his attack flaw become bigger.
The enemy presses in, unleashing several attacks. However, after the mad dog jumped back and continued to dodge, he stopped where he was and did not continue to attack.
Why didn't he move?Cereya clenched the hilt of her sword and stared at him warily: Is it finally time to use the teleportation ability?
Unexpectedly, he reached into his cloak and flicked it violently. The familiar screeching sound came instantly. Subconsciously sharpened a sword, and with the vibration from the wrist and the sound of metal impact, a black flying knife fell to the ground, shocking.
This is...... Ceresya looked at it in shock: Isn't this my throwing knife, why is it in the hands of the enemy......
Mad Dog suddenly realized: it was definitely him - the guy had a throwing knife stuck in his shoulder before he fled. If you think about it this way, it is not difficult to understand that the same poisoning method is adopted.
However, to his surprise, the sound of tearing through the air struck again. Hurriedly dodging two of the throwing knives, a sharp pain came from Mad Dog's left arm: a throwing knife stabbed him.
This guy ...... How can there be knives left? Cereya gritted her teeth and staggered back. Pulling it out in pain, the mad dog angrily threw out a throwing knife and struck the enemy's head in the midst of a splash of blood.
Without stopping the charge, the man raised his sword and struck straight ahead. The throwing knife swept over the slightly lowered head, tearing the hood back, revealing a hidden face.
The face under the blonde hair looked exactly like a mad dog.
